ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

It would be cool if hasbro gave us a blue suit version of him!! It’s an easy repaint so I won’t be surprised if we get one.

X-Men 97 Morph turned into a version of a blue suit angel with metal wings so I wouldn't be surprised to see that one soon

Too bad the only ones that pique my interest are reduxes of characters that already got 6" figures, save for Goblin Queen. And even then it'll have to be touched up with some flesh tone here and there.

@@juansanchez209 Oh don't get me wrong, the QUALITY has gone up. I picked up Tombstone when I stumbled across one just from all the positive reviews I've seen, and this Angel is a must-have. I just wish there were more completely new characters that grabbed my attention. I've been wanting Marrow and Arclight for ages.
@@megagrey I'd love a ROM and considering Hasbro owns the rights it just makes no sense he hasn't had a figure made .
It could just be called ROM Space Knight Comic Legends .
Then he could go with the Marvel or IDW fans .
Since they've made Crystar a ROM is maybe possible .

Damnit I was still pissed at Hasbro for all the layoffs and price bumps, but this new Angel was SUCH an improvement over the Toybiz one that I caved. At least my money went to a local place, even if I had to pay $39 tax included.
This video was a reminder that the RYV Spider-Man is just a SMIDGE too tall...

This figure really could have benefited from some Revoltech style joints in the upper wing segments in order to achieve really cool flapping poses. The hinge joint is really limiting. Also it would have been cool to get an alternate blue face and metal wings but Hasbro might be saving that variant for the blue and white costume
Imo this is the best Angel yet. Definitely will get him sooner or later. He looks great.
I love this figure I got it and nothing but great except mine has a bit of paint chip in a couple of of places but other than that it is fantastic and I hope shartims prime is doing good
I preordered this and have been pleased overall. I really dig the wings and how they pop into his back. I hope they roll that design into other releases. It would be a cool kitbash if they release a blue costume variant and some metal wings.

They should make all winged characters with soft plastic and wired. Especially the NECA Gargoyles figures. Look at the Jurassic Park flying Dinos from Mattel for example. Their wings are rubbery and wired.

Sam MCU Cap sorta has a similar Wing Span not it's just not built well. I think for the stability and articulation of the wings, it's much better that I'll take some visible engineering over something that can't do anything. Otherwise a wired wing would be the way to go.
A glove/boot overlay would have been nice vs paint but Hasbro gonna Hasbro.
It's simple for the next one.
Blue suit, make two long haired heads. One with blue skin and one pale skin. Metallic wings that can be swapped with the red version. Yes you would need to get blue to have organic wings. But this way it feels more like a new figure instead of a repaint.

What stand are you using at the beginning rotation?
Just got this bad boy, One of the wing pegs is completely frozen, So much paint had dripped in that it cannot move at all. The peg also doesn't connect into the back on that same wing. If this wasn't bad enough the paint is absolute garbage. Can't wait for my refund.
Top 5 marvel legend for 2024! Also anybody else have mismatched shading on the wings? As in one wing looks whiter than the other.
Angel is my favorite X-Man and in top 3 Marvel characters. Not crazy about the head. If they do a repaint in the blue version of this costume, I’ll probably get it, but the red would look terrible in my display.

The toy biz one is horrible 😅
It was good for the time but it DEFINITELY shows its age. I had the same experience when I finally got the Walgreens Mr. Fantastic a couple months ago, and had it side by side with the Toybiz counterpart.

What hasbro is basically doing is being lazy. Throwing a character together because we've wanted one FOREVER! Not really complaining per se..I own one. But, if you consider their old work, this is honestly lacking.
i dont see how these faces look good. they look poorly printed
The thing with these videos is that the macro lens show detail that you don't see with the naked eye. Believe me they look fine at normal glance
