ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Magneto gets massive bonus points for me for being completely pinless. Most of the new pinless figures are just for the arms, so this was amazing.

This is the Magneto figure I've wanted for years, ever since DOTF when he takes over the Sentinels and rips RFK Stadium off its foundation, I was like "That's the cinematic Magneto we've been waiting for since the first X-Men movie." It does look a little weird to me with the Ian McKellan head on, though.
Agreed although I think they were going for the look he had at the beginning of days of future past... which although not screen accurate...still gets the point across in a workable way

Magneto in DOFP was his best appearance and costume. So fucking pumped they made this
I really love the Magneto in this set.
I wanted a Young Magneto figure since I saw Days of Future Past. My favorite part of the film was finally seeing Eric become the Mageto we've seen in the comics as he descended upon The White House with the Sentinels at his command and RFK Stadium in tow. So I knew I had to get it once this was announced. I would've rather it had been a single figure instead of a 2-pack, as "Guy In Wheelchair" Xavier doesn't make for the most exciting action figure, and $50 is a lot to spend when you really want just one of the figures. I could've done without the Gandalf heads too because they just don't fit this figure's look and body. Sir Ian never wore that armor, so it's odd seeing his head on that body.

I took a break on MCU figures but these deadpool and x men figures have me. Just picked up cable and I'm blown away they even left him to scale, along with the sculpt and accessories.
They should've gave us the mccavoy headsculpt with hair from first class

With a lot of the heads, especially the McAvoy head I think they are thrown off by the eyebrows, they look way thicker than they did in the photos you showed at the beginning, plus the printing tech makes them look very soft compared to the other details on the faces.
Also I assume that the 'Age of Apocalypse' title was accidental, but I know that a lot of people call it that as an intentional joke.
That Sir Ian head makes me wish that Hasbro would make Lord of the Rings figures.

The young heads are not supposed to look entirely like Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, they’re digitally de-aged versions of Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen, but incorporating a bit of proportions and details from the younger actors from First Class, to make sort of an amalgam of both actors.

The suit it was based on did not have buttons on the vest. They didn't use the colors that were used for that suit though, so I think it looks a bit funny. The hidden buttons are a sweet look for the vest though. I know Sir. Patrick wore that kind of vest on more than one occasion, not sure if McAvoy did though.

First class I thought was an awesome origin movie. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I enjoyed the heck outta First Class. At the time, it was the best X-Men movie since the first two (not really saying much, considering the quality of the films after X2 at that point, but still). I just wish they had gotten it together with their damn continuity. There are THREE different Bolivar Trasks in this series. One's black, one's white, and one's a little person. (Is that the correct term? I don't mean to offend.)
So cool they let you swap heads to be old or younger versions of the movie characters. Might need to get 2 now.

Great review Shart! I don't like the Logan set, but i sure love this one, gonna be tough to decide the heads to display them with, but probably going Stewart/MacKellen, i am also getting Wolverine, but i am passing on Mystique, she is just too boring, unless she goes on sale. The only thing i would have wanted in this set is an extra helmet for Magneto so you could have posed him holding it.

Now I've gotten two of these magneto figures from that 2 pack and with both of them I've had trouble with the shoulder bend on the right arm

I'll try to make it like this:
1 - Young Magneto body + Young heads
2 - Grand Moff Tarkin Black Series + some cape + Old Magneto heads.
3 - Toy Biz Professor X Body + wheelchair + Old Xavier head
4 - Young Xavier body + Young Xavier head (but I don't like McAvoy so much as I like the Magnetos and old xavier).
