that picking pattern is taught different by everybody. some people upstroke the high f# octave. i like this one with the open E before the low F#

Thank you for watching! Any Zepp requests?
@@GuitarNinjas one of my favorite Zepp songs is "Since I’ve Been Loving You" for the ultimate blues song... 😎
Subbed to your channel Jason to support you.. you are doing great 👍👍👍
Keep on rocking in the freed world and don't forget to pay me a visit...
This is super detailed!! Thanks a lot!
Thanks so much! Which Zepp song would you want me to cover next?
@@GuitarNinjas hey! I would like to learn Whole Lotta Love. And also When the Leeve Breaks!
Great lesson
Thanks so much! let me know if there's any Zepp songs you want covered!

Excellent lesson.
Thanks so much Robert!
Great! tks
I grew in sun valley next to Burbank. 😁 And i jam 🎸
Thanks from Germany
Thank you!!! I appreciate you watching.
Groove perfection becomes pagey
Not a blues shuffle groove but a funky Rock&Roll groove
u have long thin Robert Johnson style fingers - perfect for guitar. Did you also make a deal at a crossroads?
Thanks dude. Yes, can you do: Heart Breaker : in the verse I believe it goes to the c cord for a bit. Question. Is there a model bit in there? I've never been happy with tabs I've seen. Cheers to your good work. Keith .
Perfect, but it is SO hard to find a Zeppelin live version or a cover version where the tremolo part is there!
NO one fucking does it & I don't know why, not even Zeppelin on the live versions.
Funny enough I use a tremolo pedal when playing this live! Totally agree! Jimmy never used a tremolo pedal live, and the actual recording is using tremolo from a Fender amp (inspired by Rumble, Link Ray). So... there's someone who does it live, ME! lol. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate your attention to detail. The sound for me is never right, even just hitting one string. I play with my amp settings and pickups but no luck. Any suggestions?
Hi Jon, thanks for reaching out. It's tough to say what the issue is without hearing it, sorry. I am planning on launching a weekly live video where viewers can call in via Zoom and ask/show their issues and I will help them. Would you be interested in that?
Nice Cornell poster
How about “ the girl I love with long brown wavy hair”?
already on it... that's actually up next!
Jimmy thumb wrapped the low E, see here: ruclips.net/video/laXXXJ_1dHQ/видео.html
I can't find a single video on RUclips of someone playing this song like Jimmy does.
as do I, just not in this video. It's too challenging for most players so I kept it manageable. also, playing with the index is MUCH cleaner
Pliny!
In 72 what bends did he do @0:49 of this song. Like two bends and a half step down slide it sounds but its awesome
Are you talking about the octave bends in verse?
I just listened to HTWWW and there are no bends a .49 seconds. Give me a little more detail and I'll for sure help
@@GuitarNinjas it's in the live version, it bridges the measures. It sounds like he bends up twice on the 4th fret g string. At the 49th second into the song he does it
I'm not familiar with octave bends so forgive me if that's what it is
@@Bertrumes_Shiney_Factory got you... the first time he bends the 4th fret G (using ring finger) while index finger presses on the 2nd of B. Then the next verse he moves ring finger up to the 7th fret of G while index is on B fret 5. you only bend the G string
Hope this helps!
@@GuitarNinjas thank you dude 🤘
How does he get the tone?
My guess is the album version is the 59 Tele with a Fender amp (hence the tremolo). Live it's pretty simply, Les Paul through Marshall. Ultimately
the tone comes through the players technique
Kwebblekop can fucking jam
Kashmir
Check out my library, already up there for you!
Plus, he was prolly on good speed, haha.
Your bass players aren't all that great if they don't know that they're supposed to play a C over the guitars Gm.
sorry but, it's very good what you are doing for the most part but, two sections in particular are very debatable....to be honest I would not have stipulated that it was THE right way...sorry.. .my comment is not intended to denigrate everything you do...
Christian .. first, the videos are labeled "real" not "right. I do that because I'm focused on the counting and dynamics, those elements are how you really play music. Labeling something as, "right" is subjective unless proven through science and or the player who composed it. With very little live footage of this song, I took what I watched Jimmy Page play and brought it to a YT video for everyone to enjoy. I'm confident that the parts I'm showing in this song are accurate to what Page played. However, if you have a different POV please make a video and tag us in it. Nothing wrong with a debate if it's for the betterment of the musical space. You are also welcome to come onto the channel as a guest a teach it to us live, the offer stands. Thanks for watching!
