Fishing, Left click to cast, when the red hook icon shows up by where the line is in the water, right click (hold) to set the hook and real the fish in. Personally, I love the new fishing system, just needs a lawn chair and a cooler of beer to round it out. :P
Neat, I hadn't seen the 'goblin' monsters yet, they are crazy looking! I like that the different monsters have different mechanics, wait till you find the 'vampire' monster. I'm reserving judgement on that one. And I was kinda waiting on you finding out the monsters can open doors, isn't that a cool change! It was damn spooky to hear that door open. So much to see and experience, I really like that the dev is putting it out and letting us experiment with it, the bugs can get worked out easier with more data to work with. The ATV seems more like it's for exploring and finding tech, and the truck later on will be for looting, unless you want to run with the cart so you have more room. It's nice to have options so everyone can try what they like. Enjoying the heck out of this series, can't wait to see more!!
A few things I have figured out....fishing-you have to wait for a red hook to appear before right clicking and reeling in the catch...you can also kill and animal out in the woods and carry it to your atv and still drive the atv while carrying your kill...containers in buildings now also show if they have been searched already. You can also run your ATV down the river to cut down on travel distances in some areas.
Second time for this advice to you: Walk in a POI and start looting from one direction until you reach your starting point, and you never have to search a container accidently again. The mechanics of it are so simple. You did it once in your last series and then reverted back to searching in a haphazard manner. I don't know why?
There are Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies and what looks like Goblins. The Werewolves can one hit your spikes, walls and smash them. Super strong. The vamps cast something that looks like magic, lightening balls.
Nope. It is a mechanic to check you range of attraction factors eg light and noise because of the AI enemies will go for those areas. Dev said no multi and no guns and to stop asking for it.
yes u missed some loot the sink and the mirror above i belive has loot in it and there were 4 cabinets in the first room in the first house and u only looted 2 of them .....i think
from what i have watched between your videos and others on the pre release is its random..some have got only 1 tech some 2 some 3 in these same towns..everyone seems to be gravitating to this area and same first towns to loot..also the started loot besides the parts for the atv is random too. it most likely change though but who knows lol..also make sure you search the barrels they have gas tanks in them for gas in the atv you may have searched them and edited that part out but i just wanted to let you know and the vampir shoot blue magic balls at you so learn to use you shield again lol
Kage if your mouse has a third and fourth button the fourth button, at least on my mouse is a block button that holds up a shield try using that rather than your circle strafing you won’t even take damage😂
I just got the game yesterday. September 5, 2024. I killed a sheep and tried to attack again to like, skin it and get meat from it? and a message popped up saying I needed a butcher table. So maybe they changed it or I missed something lol
So I had never heard of this, it looks a lot like The Forest. I mean I know a lot of survival games are similar but this is uncanny. Which one is better orhow do they compare and also with Sons of the Forest...

the metal oil barrels in POIs often contain fuel cans for your vehicles. you should search them

Make sure to mouse over all the trash bags. Sometimes there are more then one in a pile.

i would love a cheap peatle and mortar to allow us to make the potato paste early in the game without needing a workbench.
I think the devs should allow you to transport animals on the front of the ATV, what's the use of having a rack on the front if you cannot use it.

Think the mobs have 250 hp now if you dont change anything. Think they did had100 before this patch so thats why you had to hit them so many times :)
