We bought the snoo before our daughter was born and it worked great until she outgrew it and graduated to her crib after 5 months (she will be turning 4 in a couple of weeks). We then shipped it to our friend who had a baby in St. Louis, after that baby outgrew it, it was shipped to another friend in LA, back to Portland for 2 different kiddos, and now back to LA (same friend having a 2nd baby and she really wanted it again). We let each friend use it but they all agreed to ship it to the next friend.

Our daughter is two months old and I love Cradlewise. The selling points for me were the three in one baby monitor, white noise machine and bounce along with the longevity of the product. However, the best part is the extra sleep I get. The soothing works so well. There are a few issues and things I wish was included, like being able to talk back to my baby. But Cradlewise is still working on the software and sends out occasional updates. I've also had a good experience with the customer service. They even checked in with me after u problem was solved. We ordered ahead and was able to get the discount. To me the Cradlewise was worth it.

Former Snoo parent here, and hadn't heard of Cradlewise prior to this video so it was interesting to hear that Snoo now has some competition on the market. We did go the rental route with Snoo which in hindsight did save us some money and was appreciated. We bit the bullet and got our Snoo when our son was about 5 weeks old after having struggles getting him to sleep reliably, and overall I would say it was beneficial for us, but it was not the silver bullet for sleep that some parents make it out to be.
To anyone considering either of these products, neither of them will replace developing good sleep habits and sleep skills with your child, and this was something we overlooked with our Snoo. Ironically, our child got BETTER with sleep once we transitioned him out of the Snoo (and started sleep training him), but Snoo was beneficial for us overall. As noted in the video, the sleep data in Snoo was really helpful for us to fine tune our approach when it came to getting our son to sleep regularly, but the soothing mechanism in snoo worked probably only 50% of the time with our kid. It was good for getting him too sleep, but once he woke up rarely did he soothe him to where he would fall back asleep. I'd still recommend the Snoo to parents overall but temper your expectations as it may not be the miracle solution that it is for some parents.

In our market, we were able to recoup most of the cost of our Snoo after we were done using it which made the end cost only about $300. We bought one for my first son and sold it after he used it since we figured we'd get more resale value while it still had a warranty. We then bought another for my second son and plan to do the same. I had heard of Cradlewise and researched resale value in our area and at the time there wasn't anything, so figured Snoo was the safer bet cost-wise.

I think I'm more in camp 2. I was lucky enough to have suggested the snoo to my sister before she had her last baby. A buddy of mine had recommended it to me after he had twins, and I let my sister know about it. She absolutely loved it, and when the time came for my daughter to be born, my sister sold me her snoo for only $500. It was quite worth it for me!
Of course my new company now will rent a snoo for employees, so we are looking to do that for our 2nd on the way. The Snoo we purchased seems to be making some noise every once in awhile. Wonder if that was from lugging it back and forth to my parents house a bunch hah. I might just leave the old one there if we end up visiting a bunch.

Our first 2 hated the swing, and my 2nd hated the SNOO cus he had reflux and even with raisers he would spit up in it. I’m still tempted to try the cradelwise with our coming 3rd.

The cradlewise looks great! I would totally have loved to do that with my first. We are hoping for 2 more. We ended up getting a halo bassinet and then a used crib for $45 which is now finished its life haha. She sleeps in a playpen with her newton mattress on the floor in our room. We also use the Miku. I am all about the breathing portion of the app but I would love to have the soothing bounce or sway, especially in something like the cradlewise that gives a longer life vs just the bassinet. Is there a good option for that?

cradlewise rental is a game changer. That might be our first move. If the baby doesnt like the movement, its basically a wash- even if we were to purchase 2nd hand

    • @no120992

Hi, may I ask where did you find a rental option for the Cradlewise?

    • @cour2knee
      @cour2knee 2 месяца назад

@@no120992 I didn’t find one. It’s more like a monthly pay plan they have. We ended up buying it for $1750, if I’m being honest, I would go with the snoo. I went with Cradlewise because it was good up to 2 years. Well, we ended up spending months 3-8 overseas and now he has outgrown it. Baby is 80-88 percentile in height so he is bigger, but it was a total waste for 3 months. Had we stayed, he would spent months 1-6/7 in it…
The setup was a pain in the butt- if you cut these certain straps you can’t return it, not that you would be able to disassemble it for a return to begin with (and I’m 90% certain you have to pay to ship it back to them so… $500-$700 for the privilege of getting your money back…)
It’s the one purchase that I completely and utterly regret.
I actually think the video mentioned a snoo rental and maybe I misheard? Either way, I would not suggest a Cradlewise purchase 😔

Wow, thank you so so much for sharing your experience / wisdom with me. I’m in my 3rd trimester and stayed up all night researching and figuring out how to get my hands on one in time (it’s all backordered) but maybe I’ll just pass and get the snoo

@@no120992 I would- resell on snoo is decent (snoo might rent?)
Our baby has always been a decent sleeper and i think he was too young to appreciate/enjoy bouncing? Maybe we missed out on the months he would have?
I know the snoo is pricey as well -and at the end of the day, those first 3-4 months are just tough in terms of adults getting sleep; the baby just needs to be fed so no “soothing bed” will solve that 🤷🏻‍♀️
Congrats on your baby! Whatever you choose, will work just fine! ♥️

To me, it seems like the only really draw to a cradlewise over a snoo is from a potential economic standpoint. The real question is how well do all the widgets and dohickeys work on a child for sleep after six months. I’d be curious to hear from parents in the 6-24 age range to see if all those bells and whistles helped. Also, I wonder how well babies that use this thing do when the parents have to travel.
As an fyi, I only looked into this bc a relative of mine is getting the cradlewise and when I heard much it cost, I had to see what this thing is! We have a 7, 5, 3, and 1 year old and just did a baby bjorn/pack and play in our closet and that worked fine!😂

Honestly i really want the cradlewise only because it’ll go on for a longer period of time but the fact that CW only ships to US and not elsewhere really is a huge disappointment. Hence i’m going for the snoo altho snoo itself is a very impressive creation but then again it would only work for 6 months top.
