Shakur was told by Haney himself that he would be next. Less than a week later the Loma fight was announced. Haney never wanted to fight Shakur. Shakur literally went into the ring to call him out after the fight, and Haney ran out the ring. Then Shakur trolled him to sign a contract. Haney sends Shakur a 2.5M contract. Shakur previously made 3M in his last 2 fights. Why would Dev offer him LESS than what he previously made? Better yet when has ANY champ ever offer their opponent less than what the previously made? Not to mention, Shakur calls his bluff and goes to the WBC to literally mandate the fight and a week later Haney says bye bye to 135 and announces the Regis fight. Haney NEVER wanted to fight Shakur. I think Matias beats Haney. Haney doesn't have the power to hurt Matias, or stop him from coming forward so he will eventually wear Haney out and stop him. Teofimo Lopez has a better shot at beating Matias because he does have the power to hurt Matias. To beat Matias, you need to take advantage of his biggest flaw. No defense.
