@@NeuralDSP I will be getting this within the next few days (you guys sent me a 10% code. Thankyou). I saw the physical pedal (B7K) in London (Wunjo, Tottenham Court Road). It will be mine... one day lol
@@LeeJoRo That's a beautiful bass! I'd love to hear some tones when you get the plugin! It's well worth the investment. Keep checking back on the RUclips channel too because i'm currently writing and filming some comprehensive tutorials on all the plugins to hopefully help everyone navigate the plugins and easily get the tone their looking for! :)
@@NeuralDSP 100% I will (once I have dailed in a tone). Thanks for the likes and replies btw. The pickups on my bass (stock EMG's that came with it) are very high output. I'm sure the plugin will handle it easily
You could also get a bass midi plugin like Djinnbass 2, Nocturnal Bass or Erurobass 3 and run them in DI mode into the plugin (if you feel like you want to wait a bit before you spend any more money, you could use Spitfire Audio's LABS Bass and run the DI sounds into it.
I would love for this video to be about 20 minutes longer with a whole bunch more detail on all of the plugins and their settings, including that post-processing setup.
well I connect my bass to my audio interface (you need a driver), select one of the channels and set the input I want. then in the effects chain, I put the plugin
This sounds cool but there’s like no actual low end...is it supposed to be like that? I’m just starting out with mixing and producing so I honestly don’t know.
A lot of bands cut out a lot of the lower end on guitars and other instruments so the bass doesn’t need much to fill the lower end since it won’t be competing with other instruments at the lower Hz
Its intended to be used on Bass. Youre free to use that on anything though. You can send your vocals through there If you Like the Outcome. There is No Limits in music
Why everybody makes Darkglass sounds amazing, but I can’t dial a tone I like with them :( these are amazing pieces of gear, I really want to love them (I love hear them), but with my playing it’s not that good /:
you sir, apparently do NOT know what bass sounds like in a mix context xD this is pretty much the exact tone that is on the record, here it's just "in front" because otherwise you wouldn't be able to hear it clearly enough to make sense for advertisement
So, even if you should ignorie the fact that the bass does not blend at all with the rest of the music, as this might be due to showcase the plugin. But still: this just sounds like Seinfeld with distortion to me and I am not a fan of that.
That bass tone is so satisfying to hear. I could listen to Nolly and him all day.
nothing beats the tone of a Dingwall + Darkglass
Perfect match !
Perfect because Dingwall guitars use a Darkglass preamp
No i use jazzbazz with metalzone i think is amazing🤣
Sansamp geddy lee + any precision bass 🤫
Jazzbazz+Sansamp 😎
I like how he said just a little bit of Post Processing which includes a Slate FG Grey Compressor, a Virtual Mix Rack and a Multiband Compressor. Hmmm
My thoughts exactly.
Thats little
At least he showed it and didn’t hide it. I’d like to hear more about everything he uses.
The bass actually sounds great as it is already.
I'm obsessed with this bass tone.
Great tone from a great musician!

What a great bass player
Dope! Just installed it - now I need to learn how to play a bass...dammit.

1:20 that tap riff is fire! Groovetastic!
very good DI tone, doesnt need so much to sound like a monster
Yeah wonder what setup he uses for his DI sound
@@Djentosaurus Darkglass active pre amp circuit
He use so much plugin even for the DI, Compression, EQ, multi bands comp, etc....
Goddamn, that tone just SINGS...
So damn good
Dingwall and Darkglass = killer tone!
bro my twin brother and I couldn't help but just laugh at how good that playing is.
Great bass tone
The dude has sick dynamics coming from his right hand...
😍😍 those fingers
That's what she said...and then walked out...
Sounds Insane
that's just siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick
I could watch this video all day.
are they any videos of him going more into depth on his post processing that he briefly describes here?
I would love for this video to be about 20 minutes longer with a whole bunch more detail on all of the plugins and their settings, including that post-processing setup.
I love you Jacob (T ^ T)
very hott bass tone. 😲
1:16 Sounds so tasteful
him as permanent addition to Intervals plssss
What song is in the end? That bassline is killer
But will this make by 35in scale Schecter sound good if I don't have an obscenely expensive 37in multiscale?
1 : 10 limiter before hit DG ULTRA amp???
Do yall have a Plugin to replicate the EHX Bass Micro Synth??? Would love to be able to use that natively in sessions!
I think thats a very niche product and they wouldnt quite sell much
So if you are on a budget what would be consider a Dingwall jr for about $ 500 ?
What's the name of the intro song?
I need to try this. Wonder how it stacks up against a real darkglass.
I don't know if you care a year later, but I saw a comparison and they sound the exact same lol
Can You explain how do You connect guitar? Direct to audio interface?

Mix a di track with a distortion for more lowend
this is my gripe with all the neural bass plug ins, practically all distortion and zero low end, might as well have a third guitar player
That is the sickest dual screen setup I’ve ever seen for a studio! What is that? Are they touch enabled?
no touch
Jake is a great player... but prefer his tone with the older bass - Clifford Roi?
This is only for bass?

new strings on a bass are the most important thing to get that tone
because they do a bit of post as shown.
It helps they have $2k bass too lol. It's hard to make up for cheap pickups
PHAT
Bet this dude doesn't get any chicks..
Fine by me, I'll take him
Intervals sound like Sonic the Hedgehog djent style lol
Whats the name of the song?
0:19
I can't get any good tones from mine. It just sounds like I'm using a cheap guitar distortion pedal
deadset my dingwall sounds nothing like that.
i understand i'm not a good player but it doesn't even sound like the same instrument.,
Great now I need a six string bass then I'll have to buy a 8 string guitar
I was going to get a 6 string bass but I have a 7 string guitar. So I'll have to deal with it, lol
@@rinaberman7686 I love my seven string.
@@omarsharif927 Yeah, 7s are great. I have no need for an 8.

I bet Davie504 couldn't DJENT like this on bass 😎
t shirt is very progressive i must say
I love this AAL cover.. Oh wait
Intervals has been around for just as long and tosin has a massive amount of respect for the players in this band.
sad to say, that tone would only get you bros for life and no girls.😂✌️✌️
Bro Im already rock hard just seeing that pretty face
lmfao yall use guitar pro 5 way too much. shit sounds like the slap bass patch
