Why do the DSP chips always fail on the yamaha amps? I have one of those here and it's crazy. With audio phono input or tuner I can only get main front speakers working alone in 2ch mode but not in the "straight" position, nor will the front speakers work in surround or 5ch modes where only surround speakers will work but not the front main ones. with hdmi inputs only get sound on surround speakers but never anything from main. If i have main speakers working in 2ch mode and i change treble or bass out of the bypass or central position then i loose all sound from the main front speakers. I am considering putting a new dsp in but that's a lot of pins not to cross solder. Only around €15 from ali express. I wonder if it can fix the issue. Also for some reason HDMI 1 is not detecting at all but 2 and 3 work. Almost considering breaking the tracks to the amplifier module for the surround channels and soldering 1 and 2 in to the rear and centre inputs, sub would need it's own filter between if I did that I guess. Anyway it works as a basic amplifier if you know how to set it up.
Turns out it was the DAC, now working. Now i am working on a HTR-3065 looks like big short somewhere, relay only clicks when i power up using tone and straight button, 100W lamp flashes and it shuts straight down. Going to check main transistors and bias circuit. I just found the fault in the HTR-3065. STP amp module was short from ch1 outputs to -Vcc and +vcc pins. One speaker terminal was damaged but impossible to say if this might have happened later, perhaps i bought it from someone who found it in the dump.

thanks bro, but that emitter resister is always very hot in amp working time and its very fragile in branded amps easily damaged first before IC for safety that why i replace it and check. and also its a 3-ch ic with inbuild protection function , in circuit its not testable

I have Sony str de 497 receiver but it total dead now .if I give some volage to the microprocessor st by out pin relay clicking but no on.all ic r nor temp .I know some thing about electronic .so what's the problem u guess sir ?no volt out from microprocessor.(mb90478 bnde 1)

Hi bro, i have htr 3072, whenever i switch off main power and again switch on unit is asking for usb update, once i update works fine, but once i switch off main power sometimes no standby light,but after sometime it blinks for usb update once i update and power oof standby light comes on, then works fine, but once i switch off main power problem repeats

in simple words if u using processor u need separate power amplifier but sound quality is good then av receiver.
if u using Av Receiver preamp/processor is inbuilt no need any external device or power amp.
But cost wise AV processors is higher Than AV Receiver why? In india any company's provided AV processors?
yes its price is high for better audio quality and mostly in India no familiar brands available
with good processing power need to buy foreign brands.

It's not recognised by the system .. signal out comes from the tv out optical cable .. Astra kit not recognising the signal
First clean optical sensor . If it's clean then check sensor is failed or not

Bro if I switch on avr not get on once I reset only that displayed showing
Press tone and straight button together with power button , then u can see advance menu, in advance menu search for firmware update and try to update your AMP
Before that make sure your AMP showing model no and version correctly
Finally preceed with test all option in advance menu

New one in service center they charge 10k
