Hi Sir, is it possible to take front channel PRE outs from this receiver? Its real power as per the yamaha service specification is 15 watts per channel,which is like nothing to run tower speaker (with proper controled audio)
Can you please suggest from which site i should order the spare? My av htr2064 not powering on, only making momentary click sound of power relay. I wanted to clean it, but after assembly, it is behaving in this fashion.
@@TKFElectronics I have one Yamaha HTR-2064 (YHT-196), which is having no sound on Front Left / Right Channel. If I increase the sound fully (+16dB), then there is very faint sound (clear¬¬) in front - left speaker, but right - front speaker is still silent. When I traced the AUDIO DSP (IC-241, TMS320D70YE101BRFP), in the pin 117,116 & 115, I get voltage in all three pins in the range of 1.12 V, which goes off whenever decoder is off. All three pins behave similarly. Display shows all the speaker symbols. When traced further, the respective DSP pins are going through resistors R2425. R2426 & R2427 (all of 47 ohm) to the DAC IC-263(PCM1681PWPR) to pin 6,11 & 12 respectively which is found continuous on checking. In normal condition, output pins of DAC 27,26,22,21,20 & 19 gives voltage in the range of 2.4 to 2.5V and output resistor and capacitors (R2639, R2640, R2641, R2643, R2644, C2645, C2646, C2647, C2649, C2650, C2651) are checked and found OK. I have another completely functional Digital card from other unit, which when put the output off all the speakers are giving output normally, which confirms that main board PCB is OK thus there is surely problem in either audio DSP ic or DAC ic. Both the ICs are not getting heated on prolong operation, and voltages in i/p pins are checked ok. I am a hobbyist and tried to repair my home electronic and electrical gazette. Can you suggest how can I repair the Digital PCB, (as DSP IC change required very high-level skill and IC itself is costly, Rs2700/- around). Can I try by replacing the DAC IC? Please suggest.
Then I recommend you do not attempt to repair it some things more will get faulty, give it to your nearest Service center pls try to understand. Rest is upon you

Bro this AVRs is meant for home use capacity only. Not for Towers speaker, u need power Amplifier to run Tower speaker sir.

Do you use any particular solder for the heat pad? i.e. does it need to be a low temperature solder?
Just use best quality solder wire & paste & more important is thin tip of solder iron.

Op transistors biasing voltages check it shouldn't differ
In Sony they have 100 ohms resistors for - + supply check for value changed or high
