Everything you need to know about _The Thousand-Year Door:_
*_It's great._*
It’s been a thousand years…
Still can’t believe this is a timeline we’re in. W Nintendo
Not W. They censored it.
@@Phatnaru0002 barely, and nothing that matters?
@@daisukicliff9119 All censorship matters, and you should be angry everytime people try to rewrite someone's work and tell you it's from them.
@@daisukicliff9119 It does matter, and it’s losing them a lot of buyers. Why did they do it, and why are you defending it, if it doesn’t matter?
Let people enjoy things@@dbell1894
The amount of TLC a Mario game will get relative to all other Nintendo IPs is truly something.
Why didn't you mention the new post game boss battles?
My local Walmart put out 12 copies already!!
Definitely a must for the uninitiated. The classic is an even bigger priority imo.
0:27 it’s not a remaster it’s a remake.
No it's not
@@jM-ms8lh yes it is. A remaster is sprucing up an old game. A remake is a game that is remade. Remake involves rebuilding the game from the ground up, and the remastered game focuses on enhancing the original game's visuals. Remake applies significant changes to gameplay, graphics, and sometimes the story. Remaster only updates graphics with higher resolution, improved textures, and better lighting. Straight from google. Get wrekt nerd
@@darthvexen4697 no, this game is based on a gamecube game that came out decades ago and they have made it look a lot better, hence remaster. They have remastered an old game.
@@jM-ms8lh they remade it. Literally a remake. Every publication other than ign has called it a remake. Because that is what it is.
@@darthvexen4697 yes exactly, remake = remaster
Remember how many fans were wondering why Nintendo didn’t re-release TTYD and many speculated that it was because of suggested elements like the Hang Noose at Roguefort or that one of your party members was trans but the REAL reason was easier/dumber…..just letting it sit on the shelf until they either forgot it was there or decide to finally remake it….or both
He isn’t trans, he is a femboy, in the Japanese version(original) as well as the Spanish, Italian, etc. Localizers misunderstood the basic concept of femboy and replacing it with a trans
@@leonelzubieta8636 apologies for that mistake
@@Silentj04 My bad again, considering the year that the game was realese he was probably never meant to be trans and localizers just did it because yes
Where’s the score?
They gave it a 9/10.
@@pancakedreamer8588 🙏🏻 thanks
To the people whining about censorship, this version of the game is way less censored than the localized GameCube game.
Diversity is not our greatest strength.
この作品はセクハラ発言はある?
Nintendo giving us a GameCube game 😂😂😂
Where's the funny?
Here's the first thing to know:
1) They censored the game. Go buy the original.
You can’t call it the first thing when it’s the only thing moron, what have they censored
How?
My guy do you know how much the original costs nowadays??
@@driedskull1927Yeah super cheap, $30-40 on just the game on GameCube. Found some on Mercari.
What all did they censor?
Censorship not buying
Same, it's actually less accurate, Vivian was a FEMBOY in the original Japanese NOT TRANSGENDER
This is the first Mario game since 1998 that Im not buying. They removed the Goombas ‘cat calling’ part. It’s not a remake when you remove things and become political Nintendo.
Jesus christ get a grip, that's such a weird reason not to buy a game
@@mr-tu1gw Wanting your games free of sensitive censorship, especially people changing existing games, is not a "weird reason". It's a very logical and valid reason. Don't support censorship. Especially when it was not the original creator's intent, and is one culture overriding another.
@@mr-tu1gw let it go, it’s their loss
@@Phatnaru0002 Yes, it is. You're crying about one scene being changed.
@@Phatnaru0002exactly, and Trans Vivian was NOT the original creator's intended artistic vision!
Everyone is lying to themselves or have low self esteem when they say it is alright for the game to run as slow as it does not just in the game proper but on the menus too.
To those praising the quality of life time saving shortcuts, not only does that make you a whiny person but not a fan of traditional rpgs. At the end of the day upon finishing the game you would have wasted more time on loading times compared to the original due to how lazy of a job Nintendo approved.
The addition of annoying voices to partners, the default lower difficulty with no way to reverse it to the original and the butchered remaked songs make for a great game for fans who value themselves no more than someone who showers once every week.
Have you considered seeing a psychiatric professional? Not trying to offend, but your existence just seems miserable. Once you start going and making baby steps, things will start to get better. Friends will come back, family will start getting in touch again. Hell, you might even find a job that pays enough to move out of your parent's basement.
Attend the therapy sessions, things will get better.
