How many chains to make adult hat. I love this pattern
I'm having trouble because it seems like you are doing it two different ways on those first 4 singles. One row you seemed to skip over the first stitch right under the turning chain and make 3 singles, counting the turning chain as the first one. But then on route 3i think, you used the stitch right under the turning chain but then still just counted 3 other singles. Then on the starting chain, you said to use 36 chains for newborn but didn't say to add 3 but on 0-3 month you said use 40 chains but then added 3. So is the starting chain for the newborn 36 + 3 or just 36?
That's the same thing that's been happening with me she makes a lot of beautiful items but for me there is a disconnect kudos to anybody who can understand what's going on like I said it might be me but I can't seem to catch on just when I think I'm going to it she does a little switcheroo or she gets to a part where she's not clear and I cannot understand WTH she's saying
Okay so what she is explaining is the six to twelve months for example,
You cast on 46 chains. You make your first half double crochet in the third chain and then 4 single crochet. So then you have 41 half double crochet and the 4 single crochet. At the end you have 45 stitches instead of the 46 chains you casted on. Hope this helps you understand.
