Here in the PNW the rain is relentless during the winter. We had to resort to laying a stone path as well. Filling my bird feeders is so much easier without having the shoes sucked off my feet in the slurry. You are fortunate to have flat stones readily available on your property. Your path is really taking shape. So much of gardening is finding beautiful solutions to messy problems.

I just spent my Summer gathering big flat creek rocks every time I went fishing to pave my garden paths. Definitely a labor of love, but I love the natural beauty of it and come Spring I will seed all the cracks with Irish Moss. I waged a war against the Kentucky mud before Winter and feel like I won. Not having mud on my boots and in my home was worth the hard work.

Jeri, I am so jealous of your energy!! I am so far behind in my garden. But you just keep moving on and taking care of things, even very difficult things. You manage so many areas of joy in your life, I truly admire you're drive. And I admire your appreciation of history, and creativity by preserving so many "pretty" things, even things other people would have discarded as trash because they're no longer flawless. Your videos are so "pretty" to me. I tell my husband often, I need to see "something pretty." Or he'll ask me why I keep something and I'll tell him, "because it's pretty." He told me years ago when we first met, "girls need pretty things." To his regret really. He's told me many times since then that he didn't mean I needed ALL the pretty things." :D It's very important to me to experience lovely, pretty, wonderful things, and your videos help me with that. (Oh, you enjoy such a variety of items and periods of style, I was wondering if you have any guilloche enamel pieces? I have a few items, mostly vintage jewelry and a couple of compacts.) Always inspiring, I thank you so very much for making my days brighter and prettier by sharing your life and lovelies with us through these videos.

The reason why I smiled was for Christmas I purchased a beautiful ceramic mug with colorful red poppies on it, the box that it came in was just as pretty as the mug with a matching floral design. I could just not bear to throw it away. I'm now imagining if it lasts someone someday might be showing that box off or use it in a display in future wondering about it's former owner. Hi Jeri, on my celluloid boxes area's missing and or lifting. With a paint brush on the very edge I paint glue on (very very neatly). I use wax-paper to cover it. Place a weight on evenly over the whole area, not just the damaged area. The wax paper keeps it from sticking to weight. Remove gently after a couple of days. It stops further cracking a trick my mother used. This has last 20 + years.

Your walkway will be wonderful when finished, that’s quite a big job and I love how you get out there and you’re not afraid to get down an dirty with mud, you’re awesome. Loved your bathroom and all your collections and how you display them, so very interesting! Don’t you mind about sweet little Titus, I loved his little bell and he just wanted to be with you and play, he’s a darling.Till next time Jeri, I always look forward to your videos! ❤️

Wow. Fascinating. I never knew about this antique ‘plastic’ celluloid. I guess I never thought about it or heard anyone talk about it. Lovely collection. Love these videos. Also, I noticed there is no dust at all 😆. I need to dust my collections and decor more often
