They say you don't know the good times are happening until they're over, well that's bullshit. We're living in a golden era of GT racing right now and I'm fully aware of it. lol.
Totally! GT is where its at, my favorite category to watch in all Endurance series. Great drivers, multiple factory entries, where sometimes good privateer can even be in the mix, actual competitive racing.
Lovely you can see everything: steering input, throttle input, brake input. And people can finally see that real life racecars use traction control and ABS
@Zombie Head He just thought it's still yellow so the BMW can't overtake. Why the hell would he wait any longer after he'd seen a green flag? No one would do that and the Nissan would just go too so the left would be free as well. He just didn't saw the flag like the Nissan because the Marshall changed it right after they passed and as i heard, he earned himself a talk with the race officers after that move.
Da schießt selbst dem Zuschauer das Adrenalin ins Blut, besonders wenn man bedenkt, dass die Videos auch noch weniger spektakulär wirken, als die Fahrt im Auto.
@@Pat242-b4s no, the Marshall make a mistake and chance the flags from yellow to green at this moment. Was last year, this year Code 60 end with 2 waving green flags.
@@Nico_GECOgg So maybe they both weren't sleeping at all and it really was the Marshall's fault. I don't think a Manthey driver would miss out on that flag in the last lap
What's the point of using an extra tight line when there's obviously no open door to pass and you just slow yourself down or bump into the car ahead? Trying to frustrate the other driver but only slows himself down instead.
I think its all about "teasing" the other driver. Making yourself big in the mirrors, jumping off line to distract the driver ahead or flashing the lights at random moments or right before a braking point are some of the way drivers try to distract the cars ahead. Doesnt work 99 times of 100, but that 1 time it does makes it worth it i assume.

agree

Î think that fits only for the GT cars.

"Caught napping"is the phrase you want to use here
Wow just wow although Manthey Porsche tires were worn what a race fight right until the end!!!!!
This Sound is Perfect 😎
5:16 is the "overtake" - More like, the Manthey was more focused on warming up the tires...
he just slept and missed the green flag right to his left ^^
@@HeRrAxE I went back and watched this like 5 times wondering how he allowed himself to be overtaken like that.. Great awareness by the BMW driver.
@Zombie Head don't know why you're mansplaining to me.
@Zombie Head yeah, that was simply nuts

one of the best driving and overtakes in nurburgring history. well done it was at the the best time
2:37 it must be terrifying to be on that BMW (M4?) and watch two GT3 cars flooding your mirrors and passing you left and right.
It is an 330i class vt2
I was thinking the same, poor guy or gal. 🤣
That was a close encounter 😂 green hell as it is supposed to be raced
330i
2:38 the best moment!
Amazing overtake! I didn't expect that
Thank you very much for all the insights!
Always find the onboard for a code 60 a little funny in these cars... it's like they're whimpering "bu-bu-but... I'm not made for slow"
Such a great show! Thanks for this video guys!!
Geiles Überholmanöver nach dem Karussell 👍🚘👍💪🏿
wow, Drive it like you stole it.
«Клювом не щёлкай!» 😁
Épico! 🏁🏁
The M6 seems to be faster in the corners, a couple times i really thought he was gonna shunt the porsche, braking so late pff nice work.
And only using half the brakes

M6 best gt3 car ever....
Yup!
Hell yeah
Passed on code 60?
You can see the green Flag to the left, Manthey was sleeping
@@Pat242-b4s the GTR was sleeping aswell... i remember the situation from the livestream last year, why do we only NOW get shown the onboard? :D
You too 🤪

06:00 stehen aber ziemlich viele Wohnies am Brünnchen - alles Attrappen?
Das ist von März 2019 ...
insane
Der war der Gute im M6 aber auf Zack
Circuito muito difícil
Interesting to see how he's using only half the brakes
No ABS, that's why you can't use full brake.
@@manuel_tp it has ABS, there's even telemetry in the video that shows when it's activating.
epic
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I asked my mechanic to help me put an m4 gt3 in my bmw 428i and he laughed at me and didn’t say anything
911 driver is so slow he suppose to let him go or not?
Moin
Servus
That overtake was dodgy as fuck

They apply allot of pressure on each other this way as a result of a mistake by by the driver in front so the following car can overtake.
