Creepy ending but it shows what pressure and depression can really lead to!
didn't understand why the old man said "its your turn now" till the camera panned to the the amputated arm, then remembered the old man was missing one leg in the opening scene! so its not the first time the mother did that! Great horror short.

Awesome! A short movie but tells a lot... How an abused girl also end up having a low life man as her an abuser husband... It's a vicious circle...
Yes it is, I grew up in an abusive household, it messes with you mentally and your self esteem gets shot up and you end up with losers worse then your father. Thank God my faith and strength brought me through that hell and I am right and my husband is the complete opposite of what I grew up with. It is like unbrainwashing your mind to become strong and to truly see who you should and should be with. It took me years to reprogram myself.
So that's why the old man lost his leg. The MUM was also abused by him and therefore punished by making "Bak Ku Teh"

Ah Huay should get a divorce from her so disrespectful husband, Ah Tee. However, I'm satisfied with the ending. Serves him right for losing his left hand. The moral value is don't be ruthless to women and old folks. As you can never imagine what they're capable of...

Halfway through the show, I had the feeling that the areas of cannibalism might be explored. But then again I remembered it was a local production so I didn't really expected much. Was really awesome to see that you guys didn't back down from such touchy topics! Great stuff, looking forward for more!!
