@@electromaniac1it's very easy to find. Several live versions that are super from German tv show disco is terrific and the made in Sweden for export is great.
At the end of the song (instrumental part), Agnetha🩷 and Frida❤️ perform a beautiful choreography together... Take care, Chase✌️! Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
Another ABBA great. You can really hear that "Frida" vibe on this, and the video they have for it is awesome. Keep the ABBA reactions coming. Your joy is infectious, and yes, it's the Album cover for their self titled "ABBA" Album.
This was the b-side to their winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, Waterloo, back in '74 when it was their first number 1 in the UK. That year's contest is available on RUclips so check it out & see how times have changed in 50 years!
Great reaction Chase, I reckon it is one of their best as well. But do watch the live version sometime... Frida pulls a few moves that have to be seen to be believed!
If this is your new favourite, you definitely need to hear it again while seeing the live version called "imported from Sweden". And please don't cut it before it ends.
It's the cover for the self titled album ABBA from 1975. It's a great song, one of the few where Agnetha and Frida had a little choreographed dance at the end when they performed, which is very fun to see. Might even be the only one
Yes, that is an original album cover. The cover photo was taken in Stockholm, Sweden, that car was or still is in an auction and gained a lot of interest since ABBA actually sat in it. ABBA were fairly new on the music scene and you can hear their raw, rocky production style. You'll find it in their earlier work up until ABBA - Arrival, where they polished their sound. By then they were already huge stars. Love your reaction videos. 😊
Audios don't get much views in utube in general but you could have done the famous video from 'Made in Sweden" that is a real candy for Abba fans.Views are about 5,5 m and got uploaded recent years.
So true. The audios are just boring in my humble opinion. I don't get why he keeps doing them. He'd get more views if he did the official or live videos. So Long on the German show DISCO is fantastic too. Once again Frida is on fire and does like a little belly dance lol. She could move!
"So long" (1974) has many interesting things to analyze its rhythm is in the similar glam rock style of Waterloo, it was recorded months after ABBA's triumph at Eurovision And since the reissue of “Ring Ring” after “Waterloo” barely made it into the UK Top 40, ABBA's search for a second hit to reinforce “Waterloo” focused on “So long” precisely because of its rhythm and style in the vein of "Waterloo" But it didn't even make it onto the UK charts The following year ABBA would try "I do I do I do I do I do" another Top 40, until finally it was "S.O.S." that broke the ‘one hit’ curse to #6 in the UK and #15 in the US, and from then on ABBA was the hit-after-hit machine. "So long" I think is more aggressive than "Waterloo", and at the same time more fun Agnetha and Frida do one of their most memorable choreographies And the live performance on the 1977 Australia Tour is spectacular. "So long" is a very good song that unfortunately did not have commercial success But ABBA always included it in their first TV specials until 1976 included. See you in another video A cordial grereting from Buenos Aires, Argentina South America
I have said it before and I will say it again that you are missing out on so much by not doing a video performance. Also what is the point of using a filtered screen on an audio? The girls do a great little dance at the end everytime they perform this song. It really is worth watching.
while it great you are doing more ABBA. I really think you would get a much betetr experience looking for a video or live version as all their videos were great and singing live was as good and in some cases betetr than studio versions
This has bit Waterloo influence, but more 'old' rocky style their early career. Me this is better than Waterloo. If You reacted chronologic order, would better hear their sound developing to slick 'wall of sound' layer technic in later 70's-80's (incl. heavy synths used, can hear eg Super trouper album songs You partly have reacted).
It's a great song, you should have done the video it's fantastic
You have just missed the amazing performace of this song, the girls are on fire especially Frida def worth a watch
Yes! They sure are! I'm sure he could search on YT for it.

I think you should have done some further research...I mean why not the popular video? The girls nailed it,especially Frida i must admit.
It’s hard to believe but this song was released 50 years ago!

Abba ABBA
It’s an album cover. Song like S.O.S and Mama Mia are on this album.
And Rock Me.
So Long was a single in its own right. The B side of Waterloo was Watch Out, in the U.K. and other territories.
I had the single waterloo and the B side on mine was Watch out not so long
I hope soooo much that this fantastic song will be included in a third Mamma Mia movie.🥰

This is early ABBA... November 18, 1974 was the release date. It did not make the charts here in the US. Great song, nonetheless!
