This Festival is Celebrated only in Dolpa || Rare Culture of Nepal ||

Planning any trip might help you save time and money to some extent but I believe travel should be open, hitting the road no matter where it takes. Travel makes you realise, no matter how much you know, there is always more to learn, more to see, more to feel. I was destined to Shey-Phoksundo lake.
As I reached Kageni I got to know about a hidden village Raha with its unique culture to be displayed next day. All of then I decided to take the path ignored by most travellers going for Shey Phoksundo trek. Shey phoksundo will wait but this particular event 'Khukuri dance at Raha Village' won't.
This video displays rare culture of Dolpa. Here people gather together on the last day of Dashain and manifest Goddess Bhagwati for her blessing throughout the year. I witnessed this thrilling event during my Shey Phoksundo trekking.
There are many happy souls ready to welcome you at their place. Feel free to release the enthusiastic spirit with no worries about the things we are uncertain about.
