Gildedguy is my first introduction to the whole stick figure fight community.
Some of his past story episodes prompted me to look into some aspects of the community, like Oxob's, Jade's, and Bog's fights, but Story #7 shows that there's so much history and lore that's still brand new to me.
I don't even know how to catch up on everything.

There's no official chronology for the old RHG fights. You can just watch any in RUclips or read their wiki. But I recommend watching RHG legacy #1 and #2 to get the basic introduction of classic fighters

Fun Fact:
The eyedrop symbol that Andre has is a reference to FluidAnims, a website and channel made by Stone (Andre 's creator) and Terkoiz (FLLFFL/Afla's creator), which was also a stickman community in 2005 until it got merged with Stickpage in 2012, closing the website and channel.
Edit: A Chinese Sticktuber named Catail made an analysis of Story 7, which is how I know this.
What I noticed is that more recent things are tapestries that don't look like they've been there for as long (Ex, Dojo Duels logo) Whereas the older things are statues or engravings.

I knew this community existed but never got into it. Now I’m amazed of the lore and scale of the community.

I wish I was older when RHG was huge. Cause I don't know the lore behind the 4
Rock hard gladiators. I picked up stuff from gildedguys video, and I've seen others like umbrella vs FFLFFL. (Made me sad) my introduction to Hyun's dojo was One vs many. But I branched out to watching other animations. I wish there was a timeline for this overarching story. So I could have an understanding like you and all the animators do. I know RHG inspired alot of the (now the Hyundojo animators to start)

stick figure lore is godly, its built up better than a bunch of other novels-novel series lol
theres like the rhg stuff, the dojo duel stuff, the lore connecting places in cier, seraphs vs. i forgot the other thing like there are so many factors
honestly wished you overanalyzed/reacted to the others despite them having less references than this one, because you're literally the only youtuber I've seen genuinely know the characters stories.
Yeah, me too, I knew a lot of the information from watching RHG stick fights in the past a lot, but having someone there to confirm my suspicions is nice.

DELIGHTED to find this video by chance!!! the gala is something gilded et al. have had in the back pocket for a VERY long while and it's great to have it finally utilized it in a celebration like this - story 7 definitely deserves the fanfare all it's own. great analysis overall!
on last flame that Andre hit the ground you could see a flash of purple light.
It could be teleport spell or Andre ghost disintegrated

Cool thing to notice, in that last scene, when they're in the air, for a single frame each, Arzon turns into Nhazul, and GG turns into FLLFFL.

36:02 Actually, if you go frame by frame when it zooms out to the map, you can see that the colloseum was already shaped like the Stellapent. (That's the star's name in the World Anvil.)
I think Andre changing into a skeleton is supposed to be more symbolic as to him being the embodiment of Death; he's killed many of his closed friends and continued to. It might also be symbolic as to what the RHG fights made out of people like Andre, mere corpses.
(Before someone tells me I'm spelling Gildedguy's name wrong, I'm not, I checked. Then again, might not, because for whatever reason not very many people watch this guy's channel, WHY IS THAT?!)
I love how you can see the skill difference between the tag team of Gildedguy and Arzon against Andre
I know next to nothing about the stick fighter community but gildedguy makes really good intros to it. I wish I could experience the things you did back then, and I wish my fandoms and communities get these kinds of legacy tributes. It's amazing.
Andre did not actually die, in the live stream you can see he teleported away in the pink flash
Also there's the theory that it wasnt andre himself, but more Andre's spirit that took up his weapon to do that unfinished business of ending the gladiator fights by erasing all the arenas built to glorify these fights. Pro being that it explains the short bit where Andre looks like a zombie with an exposed skull, and why there is no body after the impact despite it clearly happening (else there wouldnt be the huge dust cloud, the purple flash may just be the spirit disappearing as I dont think Andre even has teleportation a an ability).
Personally i prefer the idea that he survived the fall, and just walked away, his job done, leaving his weapon as he would never need it again, never to be seen by anyone ever again.

no no no you got 1 part wrong hes not just destroing arenas for no reson hes doing it soo he can forget the deaths of hes frends and hes flashbacking the deaths and at the end there all sitting/standing in one place together wich is more porve they are frends or hes just destroing the arenas for revenge
