What is your guess???
Emerald city! And ruby red slippers ! My favorite The wizard of oz 11:11
Nightmare Before Christmas
Wizard of Oz
9:25
8:48 loki?
As soon as I saw you spraying the shoes red I screamed wizard of Oz 😂 you absolutely nailed it. Thank you so much for hosting the challenge again xo
Teal is my favorite color! So nice to see a shimmer finish on furniture.
The dresser is gorgeous. You now showed me not to be afraid of ugly.
This turned out great. It’s my first time seeing a piece of furniture painted with a powder metallic paint. Thanks for showing the process!
Thank you! There are some other versions of metallics that the fancy paint brands make that you can apply with a brush
That was so much fun! Besides turning out gorgeous, I loved the journey you took us on. Perhaps the next ugly duck challenge could be "Guess the theme?" where other participants create staging items to go along with their makeover.
Great idea! I will ask around and see if others are interested
Cory! You went next level with this whole project! Seriously so cool using mica powder and I'm glad you were able to work out any clogging because the final finish is suuuuper smooth. Perfect theme for this style of dresser too. And the accessories, love it all 😍 Thanks for hosting, and thanks for the creative inspo!
Thank you so much Jenn! So excited to see what everyone did!
That finish is gorgeous! You definitely changed an ugly duckling into a swan.
Wow, what a makeover! Love that green sparkle with the gold trim and pulls. Great choices!
I had this same dresser as a little girl with a matching desk and canopy bed. Loved it!! My mother had everything "French Provincial."
I am so glad I am not the judge for the Ugly Duckling. There are some very talented people in the contest
I truly thought it was the wizard of oz, one of my own all time classic movies, but what truly was amazing was the shoes, just to chicken to put it down, not to many people think of this movie for things like this. Judy Garland was one of my favorite actress from that era. Great job, just awesome idea ding this. Loved it, looking forward to doing this again!
I normally hate to see wood painted...but this is beautiful.
Made by Marley gets my vote! What an amazing transformation!
This is gorgeous! What a finish and I love that you challenged us to guess. Even though I didn't, I went from Batman to Green Lantern until I saw the gold but as soon as I saw the Ruby slippers I knew. Love it and thanks do much for hosting❤️
I'm so glad you had fun with it! Excited to see what you did!
This is gorgeous, Cory! I love sparkly things and I am really glad you gave a basic tutorial on how to create this look. This is an amazing transformation! I knew the theme when you sprayed the high heels red but that wasn’t worth pausing the video to comment. I was way too interested in what you were doing with all those vases. Your staging is lovely.🌸
Thank you so much Deborah. I am glad you enjoy sparkly things because I sure do too! My next pearl I want to do is pink
I’ve never used the pigments. Thanks for the tip. Great design. Dresser looks amazing.
Thank you! I have heard that they are often used for resin but I don't know how to do resin
I’m guessing Wizard of Oz? This is so beautiful. I love the new look.
This is a _fabulous_ colour! I'd never thought of using mica powder on furniture before. I _think_ I've watched all of the challenges now. I vote for the *Made By Marley bedside cabinets* which was number 19 in my list 🤪 So much work went into them with the hand painting and blending, and making two pieces of furniture from one piece, I think she just edges it for me. Well done for putting all this together! 👠💚👠
Thank you so much and thank you for watching all the videos and letting me know which one you think should win! It's always so hard to choose so this helps
I've loved French Provincial style since I was a pre-teen, decades ago. It was painful to see the abuse this piece had suffered. Thanks to your talented hands its certainly not an ugly duckling anymore. I didn't guess the theme until I saw you working on Dorothy's red slippers.
Love this!!! I’ve been adding fine glitter to my paint. And it’s been working
Really pretty transformation. Flipping Drawers gets my vote. Granted, I haven't watched the entire playlist, but he is really good at what he does.
It took the red glitter for me to realize, but you had some really good clues that now make total sense!! Great video!! 💜
11:25 - Wizard of Oz
Absolutely beautiful transformation! I love it.
I love the color and sheen of the dresser, whether or not it's Oz.
I was way off 😂! It is beautiful! It really shines!! Excellent flip!!
I was thinking Disney princess? Ok, the shoes gave it away. 😂 the Wizard of Oz. Nice! 👍🏻
I could see these colors working for princess Tiana who is my favorite princess!
Beautiful!
I created a similar look on a child's rocking chair using Krylon Chalky Finish Tintable Paint tinted to Bucolic Green (HGSW2301) and finishing with Krylon Glitter Finish in Interior Iridescent.
Love your work, Cory! Thank you !
Very cool idea! Thank you
The “jewelry” is great! I grew up surrounded first by Duncan Fyfe then French Provincial. Once counted 13 gold cherubs in our LR! Love the mica powder-infused paint! Stunning! I guessed Rocky Horror Picture Show.....( I keed you, Ha ha!😅)
I think this might be the most amazing flip you've ever done!
Very cool idea. Figured it out when the RED shoes showed up. FUN.
👠 what a fun themed piece Cory! I love that you used mica powder for that shimmery green 😍 Thank you so much for hosting the challenge🎉 we loved cleaning up our ugly duckling as well 🦢
So glad to see you back ...missed your videos. This was great!
That looks like a brand new piece of furniture!!! Its more than trash to treasure!!! Gorgeous Corey!!!
That pearl is everything!! ❤❤
I absolutely love this colour! Beautiful!
Hello, watching here in the Philippines... A furniture maker too. We seldom do make overs but its fulfilling to give life again to an old furniture. 🤗
This piece is so cool Cory! I’ve never seen anything like it. Great job😊 it’s beautiful!
The theme is an old Polaris snowmobile. We had one this exact color when I was a child. I figured it out when I saw the preview.
My god that thing was nasty... And yes! You totally channelled the emerald city! Beautiful job!
There's no pace lie home.... Beautiful piece!
WOW! Now you need a yellow rug to go with the dresser! ☺️
I restored a 66 Mustang, 30 years ago, and that is the exact color I used on it
Took me while but at 11:00 minutes in Wizard of Oz!!
I am currently drooling over that iridescent green color and how you achieved it OMG I want to try this!
This was so much fun to watch. What an incredible makeover! Your creativity is amazing to watch.
Thank you so much. That is truly such a meaningful compliment
Wow I couldn't get it till the green vases after the red shoes ,so almost the end, but wow this piece is stunning so sparkly very smooth and I love the gold handles, this piece really is incredible you nailed it , thanks for sharing I really enjoyed watching, all the best Mary in Australia 🌻😊
Gorgeous ! You are so creative . Loved what you did !
That is absolutely stunning!!! 😍
Fabulous, love the sparkles
Ohhh that colour 😍😍
Stunning piece 💕
Oooh you had a lot of fun there alongside all that work.....turned out amazing 👏 😉
Absolutely gorgeous I love the color
Wow! I love that paint finish that is absolutely awesome!!!!
Thank you!
Love your imagination. And ALL the SPARKLE!!😊
The Wizard of Oz! this looks beautiful
As soon as you painted the shows I got it. But I will say until then the dresser mainly looked more of a bluish green and it wasn't until after you added the shoes and the vases with green coloring that the dresser looked more green. It came out absolutely stunning.
A very unique treatment and it was fun to watch you create it. Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much
So you can make a silk purse out of a sows' ear... It's gorgeous ❤
Fantastic as always Cory. Thanks so much for hosting this. I really enjoyed being a part this challenge.
11:00 min. Wizard of oz Ruby slippers. BEAUTIFUL!
This is lovely. Thank you for sharing your work.
Beautiful! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family
Just WOW ! Cory
Such a Brilliant Idea 👏
❤️❤️ What you did to this
11:14…I’m soooooo slooow….gosh! Lol Wiz of Oz, 🤦🏼♀️. The dresser turned out so cute…love the mica choice!
Absolutely beautiful
2.47 minutes in, I thought the theme was 'Star Wars'. 4.51 minutes - what? the mermaid film? 7.37 minutes - definitely an ocean theme. 11.20 minutes - No! Wizard of Oz? Wow - that took me a while. But what a transformation. Love what you did with this ugly duckling.
Omg, I thought it was something else but realized before you said it it was what it was. Wow!
Well, Corey, you certainly turned that ugly duckling into a thing of beauty! A bit like Cinderella :-)
OMG! Such a beautiful piece 😍
Oh heavens Corey, what a stunner!
That is fun. At 3:27 I am guessing nightmare before Xmas. 8:20 with sparkle, moving in to oz.
Amazing makeover! As someone who likes bright colors, this is right up my alley! You'd never know it was a dumpy looking dresser before! ❤️😀🇨🇦👏
Thank you Janet. It's hard to believe what it started as!
Beautiful! But those heels are so pretty. It's a shame they no longer have people who can repair shoes anymore.
Thank you for hosting the challenge. I've been marathoning all morning and having a ball.
I will be spending the week enjoying all the videos in the playlist. I love seeing what everyone comes up with
You sure outdid yourself on this. It may not be to everyones taste, but it is beautifully done. I would say it would be a show piece as a stand alone. Behind a couch or in an entrance way. Well done.
That turned out beautiful.
10:48...wizard of Oz. That dresser turned out gorgeous!!!
Thank you Laura!
Sparkly!!! So pretty. Wasn't sure what you were gonna use shoes for then when you said red I got it. Love the sparkly green!
Roshawnda I have missed you. How are you
@@DesertDIY I was missing you too! I am also realizing I did not comment on last weeks video! I normally watch videos on the TV then go back on my phone later to comment. Sometimes I forget 😬 Glad you are getting settled into Houston, even with a few bumps in the road.
I’m torn between Busted to Buffed and the suitcases dresser.
The body color is my beloved old 1999 3-door Chevy Silverado!
Beautiful dresser! I will copy that!
How cool!
Wizard of Oz at 10:55. And I just love the Pearl paint job I'm going to have to try it an upcoming piece I'm doing
@4 min. As soon as you showed the draw sparkling green. My 4th grade school play in 1974! I was an Emerald City citizen. Lol!
How cool! I was a one of the lollipop guild in a school play!
Love this transformation Cory! and those shoes 😍 so good
Thank you so much! Would you wear them? I would haha

Cory Cory Cory!!😮 that is absolutely gorgeous! You never cease to amaze me!❤
Thank you so much Tonya!
@@DesertDIY you’re welcome!
3:30 I would say the Jetson's, a very futuristic cartoon for it's time.
I was looking forward to this ugly ducking challenge. I love watching you create something from old furniture. I love this dresser.
Thank you so much Mary
So very pretty. What a wonderful theme.
Thank you!
So glad you did this process. I haven’t seen it done before. Beautiful
Wow another beauty! Thank you! I couldn't guess till I saw the shoes!
Thank you Paula, I wouldnt have been able to guess it until then either
Nightmare Before Christmas film by Tim Burton. Thought of it when you started painting it black
Gorgeous! Love it.♥️
Gosh, I love the green blue colours, its absolutely fabulous Corey
Thank you so much Gail. I love that a color can make people feel such great happiness
You had so much fun with this, I hope you do it again.
Gorgeous color Cory. I watched all of the other flippers on the playlist. I think you are going to have a hard time choosing this time. There are so many nice re-makes to choose from. When will the winner be announced?
Oh! Ruby slippers. I see. Emerald city. Gorgeous.
You got it!
