That's not true there are a number of games with crossplay between generations. Apex legends, Fortnite, Minecraft the list goes on. Generations mean nothing when the engine used is the same. There will be another reason. Probably cost @@Apoju1ce

This gameplay footage is completely misleading. I don't know what they did while processing the video, but the game doesn't run this smoothly at all. While the 30 FPS framerate is consistent most of the time during matches, the game itself is painstakingly slow, there's a dealbreaking input lag and navigating through menus in order to substitute a player is a stuttering chore. It's not a finished product at all and it's the worst 60 EUR I've ever spent, I've deleted the game a day later and returned to playing FIFA 22 which, with all of it's faults, at least runs like a proper game.

Do not buy on the switch. Every time I go to negotiate a transfer the game freezes and I have to reload the game. Absolute waste of money, having fixed the bug that was in ea24...
FC24 was much better. I get FC25 for free and deleted it. They ruined all game with new UI and tactics. Decided to install FIFA 23 and just have fun with old good fifa in 60fps. Yes 23 is just old fifa with just reskin but this is better than to play something with strange UI for aliens with stupid calendar slider, with strange player grow etc All new features like rush, volta etc are garbage to just kill your time, but actually it has no connection to the real football simulation so they just adding this to not improve what they really should , just to add smth new to sell it as new game
Same I went back to FIFA 23 on switch. It played soo much better and 60Fps is a no brainer. Fc24 being 30fps is soo painful to play it’s unreal. I expect fc25 to be even worse.

The defenders even at max difficulty level just stand there and take the ball away only when you run into them, the same goes for your defenders they just walk around. I tried customizing the gameplay, tried different combinations but it's just painful. The AI, 22 fps and unbearably slow navigation makes me issue a refund, even though I bought it for only 30 euros.
As the buyer of FC25 on nintendo, i must said, don't buy it, not worth. They don't have cross play function with other platform. Basically you can only play with other nintendo user only. In rush mode, it was hell to find teammate or opponent. It's suck. Rush exclusive to PS5, Xbox and PC but not nintendo. Good job EA to scam people money
Yes! The amount of crashes during cut scenes - particularly in the transfer negotiation scene, made it almost unplayable. The only way to work around it was to let your assistant take care of negotiations but then you lost control. For me the animations added nothing to the game anyway, so no idea why they didn't just ditch them for a simple menu. I'm guessing most reviewers don't bother trying career mode at all?
Please I would love to know , when you are playing it without docking it , how does the crowds look like , because on my switch they look like mine craft characters until the camera zooms in

There's no crossplay on any FIFA on switch. Crossplay is also only possible on consoles of the same generation, ie ps4/xbox one and ps5/seriesx

I own the game and it has been resolved over a month now on my end. Very smooth. Uninstall the software from the console then re install.
