people please stop buying EA games. they do nothing but take your money and they barely update the games with new "features" every year it's just a re-skinned game with bugs and they never pay the game devs what they are worth and just lay them off. please stop buying EA sports games I beg of you.

As someone who has bought and played fc 25 on the switch, I would only recommend if you don’t have a different console, bc on ANY other console it would run better

I was convinced to pick it up during the first part of the review, but then when you shared your thoughts, I gave up. And since I don't have a Xbox or Playstation, I'm just skipping the game. Maybe on Switch 2...
Is it more fluid and responsive than FC24? FC24 input lag is terrible, everything felt so slow
No. It's horrible. Same input lags, slow transitions in menu... Not worth it

I feel the graphics have improved and yes, this port is definitely superior to the mobile version, and I think that is a much fair comparison when we consider the kind of hardware this is running on...
Sorry one question guys, you talk about the smaller player base at 4:32 and say “cross-play is impossible because the other versions run on a different engine… “ they don’t, you made that point yourself at the start, these are all Frostbyte now no?
Perhaps he means they run at a different frame-rate although again in theory that shouldn’t stop cross-play either?? Maybe we missed something?
There's no crossplay on any FIFA on switch. Crossplay is also only possible on consoles of the same generation, ie ps4/xbox one and ps5/seriesx

That's not true there are a number of games with crossplay between generations. Apex legends, Fortnite, Minecraft the list goes on. Generations mean nothing when the engine used is the same. There will be another reason. Probably cost @@Apoju1ce
@@SwitchUpYt Just because other games have it means nothing. It's not cross generation, a quick google will tell you that. Has nothing to do with engine either, as they all use the same engine. There is no crossplay between generations in any FIFA, period.

This gameplay footage is completely misleading. I don't know what they did while processing the video, but the game doesn't run this smoothly at all. While the 30 FPS framerate is consistent most of the time during matches, the game itself is painstakingly slow, there's a dealbreaking input lag and navigating through menus in order to substitute a player is a stuttering chore. It's not a finished product at all and it's the worst 60 EUR I've ever spent, I've deleted the game a day later and returned to playing FIFA 22 which, with all of it's faults, at least runs like a proper game.

Maybe on some big sale, but no, after this review, since I already have FC 24, I will probably just skip this one
As the buyer of FC25 on nintendo, i must said, don't buy it, not worth. They don't have cross play function with other platform. Basically you can only play with other nintendo user only. In rush mode, it was hell to find teammate or opponent. It's suck. Rush exclusive to PS5, Xbox and PC but not nintendo. Good job EA to scam people money

My problem with EA FC 24 on Switch wasn't the 30 fps, but the massive input lag. From what I've heard, this hasn't been resolved, right?
I own the game and it has been resolved over a month now on my end. Very smooth. Uninstall the software from the console then re install.
I haven't purchased FIFA/EA game since 19 when they obtained Champions League rights. Not felt the need to get one since.
Do not buy on the switch. Every time I go to negotiate a transfer the game freezes and I have to reload the game. Absolute waste of money, having fixed the bug that was in ea24...
I have to delegate all transfers such a shame and takes a big part of career mode in the bin…
FC24 was much better. I get FC25 for free and deleted it. They ruined all game with new UI and tactics. Decided to install FIFA 23 and just have fun with old good fifa in 60fps. Yes 23 is just old fifa with just reskin but this is better than to play something with strange UI for aliens with stupid calendar slider, with strange player grow etc
All new features like rush, volta etc are garbage to just kill your time, but actually it has no connection to the real football simulation so they just adding this to not improve what they really should , just to add smth new to sell it as new game
Same I went back to FIFA 23 on switch. It played soo much better and 60Fps is a no brainer. Fc24 being 30fps is soo painful to play it’s unreal. I expect fc25 to be even worse.
@@johndan42Weren't you all complaining about outdated ignite graphics? Now get Frosbite at 30fps. I was fine with those legacy editions because I knew the limitations of this hybrid console of almost 8 years. Switch 2 will do 60fps.

I just wanna know if it still has matchmaking problems in online seasons. East coast USA can barely stay in games despite my Internet being great and no issue on any other game or my PC.

I wouldn’t play a FIFA/FC game if it were free. My time is worth more money that that; I should be paid to play something that has been awful for decades.

If they didn't fix the crashes for Career mode and the transfer animations it's not a good game. The review didn't cover it, really disappointing...
Yes! The amount of crashes during cut scenes - particularly in the transfer negotiation scene, made it almost unplayable. The only way to work around it was to let your assistant take care of negotiations but then you lost control. For me the animations added nothing to the game anyway, so no idea why they didn't just ditch them for a simple menu. I'm guessing most reviewers don't bother trying career mode at all?

@@30secondgameplay18 Me too in the first few months. I uninstalled and re install the software after putting back the cartridge just last month and it is very snappy now. Camera tele broadcast or broadcast.

Even how much I like football what's been my favourite sports since my childhood I've never played Fifa games what's now a stupid FC why it changed it's name? And i'm interested why NBA and FC are on Switch, but NHL isn't? Dosen't Nintendo like NHL or do Xbox and defienitily Playstation owns NHL because it's not even on PC neither? I'm just interested to ask these things I don't play those games, but NBA 2k25 is the only sports game that i'm a little interested. But the only sports games that I LOVE were Nintendo Wii Sports and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games series it's so sad what happened to Mario & Sonic I wanted to see Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games Paris 2024, but that would happen in november 2023 if it would ever come RIP the BEST sports series Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games! 😢❤💙🥇⚽🏀🏒🏆
