Hello! You are at a great time in your pregnancy to start thinking about dates and the RRL tea. As long as you don't have gestational diabetes then I think dates is a great thing to add to your routine in these final weeks. Here is a video with all of my thoughts ruclips.net/video/uZNYVi8NxSs/видео.html. I feel the same about RRL tea. It doesn't hurt and might help, so go for it. Also, if you haven't taken a childbirth education class yet, I just setup a new option for September. I'll be teaching the Birth Toolbox course LIVE and it will be both FUN and UBER PRACTICAL. Here is a link that applies a coupon if you are interested. birthtoolbox.com/livepluscoupon
I dont want an epidural because i want to avoid all of the complications that comes with it. Labor itself comes with enough complications as is. Im 28 weeks and scared of labor but even more scared of the epidural
I didn’t have an epidural with my first child the reason I skipped it was the risks that came with getting one and I was scared to have the needle in my back. Haven’t got an issue with needles in general
I prefer skipping epidural so that I don’t lose my confidence about my body and I can convince myself that I am a strong woman and can do it without an epidural
So glad that you found it helpful. If your water breaks before labor, you might have to go into the hospital for a check or monitoring which means that you can't labor for as long as possible at home. I would still recommend trying to rest as long as you can. Even at the hospital you can try to rest until labor gets going. Does that make sense?
I'm currently 30 weeks 4 days pregnant and my Dr told me that she doesn't offer an epidural as there isn't a anithesiolgist available in our area... She also doesn't do medicated labor and delivery or inductions... They do however offer membrane sweep and breeking the water...
@birthtoolbox I am actually terrified as I was speaking to a friend of ours the other day and they said that after receiving the steroid injection they went into labor less than 48 hours later

Thank you for sharing!! Love you why.
This is really helpful, thank you for sharing. However, what if labour starts after my water breaks.

I am curious about really feeling all of my baby being born, I want to move, and do not want to initiate any more cascade of medical interventions.
Yes, that makes so much sense. The cascade of interventions is real.
Ive had 3 epidurals with all my babies,im 38 weeks pregnant with my 4th and would like to prove to myself i can do it naturally without one.
You can definitely do it! Were your other 3 inductions?
@@birthtoolbox I've only experienced a induction with my second baby the other two were spontaneous
❤
👍👍
I'm wanting to skip an epidural because I'm holistic so I want to have a natural birth as best I can.
Wonderful reason!

I recommend learning some coping skills so that you’ll be ready! Great time for a class!❤️
@birthtoolbox my Dr does however want to give me steroid injections on the 7th and 8th July and then at 36 weeks a membrane sweep
That’s pretty early for a sweep
@birthtoolbox well I am extreme high risk so that's why they want to do it
