That is one thing my mom instilled in me, every time you call about a bill for any reason at all you document date, time, person you spoke with, and the reason for calling.

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

Great video!!! 🌸 💛💛💛. My mom always told me to document everything so you have your own paper trail and you retell when you called and what was said during the conversation. She also said to ask who are speak with. Date everything.

Medical insurance is definitely frustrating. When you were talking about using your RUclips paycheck a thought popped in mind, and you’ve probably already thought of it. What if you use just your RUclips paycheck for the medical bill, and your medical envelope is a buffer.
So say your bill is $250, but you only made $215 from RUclips a particular month so you’d be $35 short. Use the medical envelope for the remaining $35 to cover the bill.
I’ll gladly go on a LilyBudget Marathon/binger to help boost your RUclips paycheck 💛

Insurance is so freaking tricky!!! My insurance covers some things and what they don’t cover I have to pay but they cover a decent amount. Then once my deductible met then they cover %100. I’m so sorry Lily 😢.

The whole code thing with diagnosis and admissions and such is so frustrating. I found out that my doctor was entering the wrong code for my intravenous treatment for a year and my insurance wasn’t covering it and didn’t tell me until they sent me a huge bill! It was a nightmare to get it changed and get that bill credited. So frustrating. Sorry you’re dealing with that. It almost feels like people just string you along so they don’t have to resolve the issue!

Write to your State Department of Consumer Protection AND your State Insurance Commissioner. Document everything. cc your health care provider snd health insurance company. Do in this exact order.
Good Luck 🤞🏻Lily. Insurance needs to be fought tooth and nail. 👊🏻

Always read the fine print in insurance. My first insurance I got after I turned 26 was a nightmare. I got slammed which a $52k hospitalization bill because my insurance covered 0% of mental health issues. No medication coverage either. Thankfully my low income allowed for me to get a write off from the hospital.

Sounds like a HDHP, does the person who works at the hospital have a Health savings account or flexible spending account? My insurance is exactly the same and I work in a hospital. I'd be appealing that decision; it should also say on your discharge paperwork you should have gotten so check the paperwork. Make sure you write down the name, date and time of every single person you talk to about this, so you can say well that is not what "so and so said" on this date at this time.

My great grandfather was under observation for over a week. He wasn’t able to go into a nursing home covered by insurance because they didn’t officially admit him. It’s likely the same thing that happened to you. Because it was technically his was deemed “not medically necessary.”

@@alil8474 that sucks I’m sorry!! It’s just weird because I was actually admitted, so they entered it wrong for whatever reason😭 hopefully they can fix it!

If your insurance doesn’t cover it still, request medical records and appeal the insurance for medical necessity.
