For the benefit of beginner users, if you are getting the disconnected message but are plugged in to the USB port at the base e.g. with an iPad just double check that you don't still have the usb cable on the left hand side, the one that is used to plug into smaller smartphone, plugged in as that will cause the disconnected message to pop up in the status bar. I forgot about this until today's firmware upgrade. Thanks again for a great video.
I purchased my Phantom 4 last Tuesday and still have not been able to fly it as when I go to do the calibration it keeps saying error. I am doing it right by follow the steps and doing it in an open error away from any magnetic force. I am confused as to what is happening. I was hoping that you had some sort of idea about this as it is really annoying. Thanks in advance !
Hi I bought my DJI mavric pro without remote controller but I was told I can fly it using the app.. but I have downloaded many apps and non of them is giving me any option to even connect with the drone. Any idea what app exactly do I need to fly this? Thanks
Alb Kids TV there is a switch on the side of the Mavic needs to be switched to WiFi. Then in your phones WiFi network list select Mavic. The password is 12341234 then you should be good to go.

Yes that was something that changed in the time after i did the video but you are correct you can only have one usb connected at one time.

I had a firmware update alert ignored it & the warning disappeared
Yes, I never jump on the latest firmware, always give it a couple of weeks just in case there are issues.
