Aldryn, I find you instructional videos to be precise, concise and professional in every respect! Your presentations are simply the best! Plan to search out everything you have produced. Please continue your exceptional videos... Thank you...
Aldryn, I've seen a lot of DJI Mavic Pro videos, but you have some of the best ones on YT. Really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Thanks! Steve
I know this video is a little old, but I couldn’t resist commenting. Your mavic videos are the easiest to follow and understand on RUclips by far. Clear instructionwith appropriate detail and views of rc screen. Very well done. Thanks for the great content, my mavic thanks you too :).
I can not thank you enough! We are in Ontario Canada on Lake of the Woods and launched my DJI Mavic Pro Platinum from the Lund boat and did all 3 of the Quick Shots... The footage is so great with us in the boat and it will be in a recipe and part of our cooking show on RUclips called... "Cooking with Shotgun Red" It will post in about a week as "How to Make Pour Man's Lobster from Northern Pike" One thing everybody needs to know is... when you do the dronie it backs up a while before climbing so make sure there is nothing behind it for a long ways or start your dronie up a bit. Because you showed me how to do it step by step it was so easy and the footage is so cool! Keep up the good work... Love your stuff!
Aldryn, this is one of the best videos about DJI Mavic Pro out there!! Precise, professional and educational!! Good job!!! Please do more videos like that on how to explore the software and its functionalities!
new mavic pro owner here. i must have watched about 10 hours of youtube vids before i took my first flight, and most of them were yours. well presented, easy to understand and great that you answer comments/questions on your vids! ive just subscribed! thanks.
Great video, As a creator myself I really appreciate how to the point you are. Just got the Mavic and I have seen hundreds of very long and drawn out videos where people will talk for 20 minutes before they show a second of footage....I am not exaturating when I say 20 minutes...like not even a drone type intro! Thx bud.
Your tutorials are tremendous! I'm in my 60's And brand new at this hobby. ( Hobby for me ) And millions of other people. A proffesion for many. Mate just thank you for taking the time to make these videos. All very much appreciated. My Mavic Pro arrives on Friday. Absolutely pristine condition and still boxed. Our grandson and myself are going to have so much fun.....Stay safe.
I don't even own a Mavic, but I do plan on buying one eventually. Your videos are extremely helpful, and I'll be using all of these techniques as I increase the production value of my videos.
This video helped me a lot! I just got myself a Mavic Platinum a few weeks ago and I want to use it to it's full potential. Most of what I know comes from your videos
I need to look for more tutorials like yours. I have not yet discovered these new modes and now I am excited to get my Mavic Pro back in the air to try them! You do a great job of explaining the different modes and demonstrating them clearly. Nice work.
Finally i have found some tuition that is interesting, well presented , practical and easy to understand. Well done and i am now subscribed to your channel and will be my main source of information. Cheers mate. Alex in Australia
Nice demo! Thanks for saving me the time to read up to figure out some of these flight modes! The one thing I always try to remind myself is to be sure the camera is in focus. Cheers!
On some of these quick shots is there also a reverse option, like rocket or dronie, recording as it's on it's path back to the home position. This would be great even if you had to manually hit record. Thanks for the great videos!
Just did a Dronie shot on my Mavic Pro but I could not figure out on how to do the radius... Did not realize if you click on the Icon again then you are able to set your radius!! Thanks for another great video.
Very informative, I’ve had the mavic for a while now, and I still find little details in your videos that reach me things I thought I already knew. Great video.
Great video, sir. It was a great refresher for me since I haven't used quickshots in a long time. I forgot it was available. I've been doing those kinds of maneuvers manually just so I can have complete control over my drone.
Hi Flypath! I’m so stoked that I now have a Mavic platinum. Love how prices drop when new and improved tech is launched. Nice body of work! I’m taking it slow and steady and truly appreciate your videos. Clearly your doing something you love! Hope you can keep posting instructional videos. Back to getting my learn on! All the best to you and yours.
I agree with Philip below- Flypath is my goto on youtube for drones & DJI. Im a novice learning and his videos rock. Definitely making it easier on us dummies
I know this video is a few years old, but I've just got a Mavic Pro. Your videos are absolutely spot on. Great learning tools full if easy to understand advice, and tutorials. I've now subscribed to the channel, thanks for your help, and inspiration!
Very informative video! just ordered my mavic for my trip to peru and i didnt know about these quick shots... they'll be very handy that doing the actions manually
An excellent video...Thanks! I'm curious about 2 things, 1. You used yourself as a point of interest, where would the drone follow if you were to move? You? or the place you were standing? 2. Off topic here...any ideas what might cause the rings on the field? I see them when flying at my local park. Might they show the location of a sprinkler head? Thxs
awesome another great presentation looking forward to go out and fly do you use filters if so are you planning on doing a presentation on these? wish we could have the same weather as you appear to consistently have keep the videos coming top drawer thank you.
Very helpful and thank you for the information. I noted you were using you iPad for the screen. I have a Mavic Pro. How would I be able to use my iPad Pro with my controller unit.
Great video, thank you!! I've owned my MPP for months now & somehow I completely missed QuickShots. Great features, thanks for pointing them out. I Really like your videos & agree with the other comments: quick, concise, great content, zero fluff.
Thanks for posting this, being new to this whole thing, this really helped. Couple of questions : I noticed the count down timer was at 3 seconds, can that be extended to ay 10 seconds before it does the shot. for the helix shot. do you have to stay still while it is doing the shot, or can you move? Thanks
Nice video, one question is there any other set up because when I select the quick shots it doesn't tell me to select the focus point and no other option just stay there and the record button is there but not even available to select is like shaded, so I can't use them
John The antennas were shielded from the Mavic in your demo when your remote was resting on the box. How is the video signal maintained when the Mavic is high up in the air?
Another greatly and easily explained video, I can’t understand when other people do these. So I greatly appreciate your tutorials. I love my Magic pro and I want the most from it. So I definitely find you to explain what I can’t quiet get! Chaka bra, over
Hi, Kat here of the storm chasing team! I truly enjoy your videos! Thank You! I have learned so much from your videos! I now have my UAS License and am looking forward to flying my drone!
Impressive Aldryn. Thanks for being an inspiration. Your videos continue to be educational and professional. You're helping me create great videography with my Mavic 2 Pro here in Mexico. Please, keep it up the great work.
I've had my Mavic since November and I have never used any of the Intelligent flight modes lol....but now i will after watching your video. Do you need data service in order to use the flight modes?
The quick shots are amazing, but I love the options on the point of interest. A lot of possibilities there. I would love to see you do a tutorial on shooting thunderstorms from a distance. I live in the midwest where we occasionally have tornadoes and every now and then one touches down far away enough that the winds won't affect the Mavic, but close enough to get a good shot. Unfortunately I didn't have my Mavic at the time.
Aldryn, yet another very professional video, like all your work you make it so anyone can understand the point you are making, I don’t own a drone (yet ) but after watching yours and many more videos on drones I feel I must get one now, my problem that I can’t seem to get a simple answer to is which one, I will be taking photos and videos both here in the uk and of cause taking it on holiday this years being in turkey, I’m torn between the mavic pro platinum or the mavic air which seems very loud on all the videos I’ve watched but don’t know if it’s just the videos I’m watching, your advice would be much appreciated many thanks Paul from Liverpool uk.
Yes , as Phillip Tatum said , great voice and understandable, question when doing the rocket shot, I noticed it quit recording when returning, did u stop recording or on its own ?. so once its @ the end of take off shot, when returning it stops, ...what if I want it to also record on its return, do I just hit record? ...Again Great tutorials..
hello I have just join your page and love it so far. i am so happy i am with you. you explain everything very well. I am so new At this. I do not know any thing about this MAVIC PRO . I hope you can help me out. I have a tablet i want to use, were do you buy the extended arm do i still need to use my phone? pleases help me out thanks i gave you a phuse up. have a nice week end. I will watch your video's Thanks again,
No problem. Check out my other videos about the Mavmount. There's also the PolarPro flight deck available too. I have videos on both with links to their products in the video description.
Hi, Great videos. I am learning a lot. Is there a function with in the marvic that will allow me to fly the drone from point A to point B on auto ( like tap fly) but allow me to yaw the drone so I can turn the camera 360? I want to control the camera direction independent of the drones direction of flight. If you have a tutorial that would be great.
Great video! Learned so much and unlike other drone you tuber’s you don’t waste time talking about things that don’t pertain to the subject matter. SUBSCRIBED and will share. ✌🏻👍🏼

Gustavo Adolfo Reque thank you 🙏
Another great video. With Helix will it sense any objects in its way such as telephone lines, worried it circles and hits one?
Just did a Dronie shot on my Mavic Pro but I could not figure out on how to do the radius... Did not realize if you click on the Icon again then you are able to set your radius!! Thanks for another great video.

Leo J Dunn JR thanks Leo. I use the mavmount.com holder. Check them out and if you like it, use the promo code flytpath for a discount.
Very well done. I watched a couple of other videos on this and they were too brief, leaving out some essential details. Just right!
Julio Plasencia thanks julio
What are your camera settings, video is super clear... I'd seriously like to know
How did you get it so crispy is probably a better question.
Which footage are you referring too?
FlytPath the Mavic footage
bravo!
would it also do this 360 for a static object?
Nice video and concise tutorial with very helpful overlay. I'll definitely try them modes next flight. Cheers

Woohoo. Ya I am. Thanks for watching
John
The antennas were shielded from the Mavic in your demo when your remote was resting on the box. How is the video signal maintained when the Mavic is high up in the air?
Nice and Concise, you really know what you're doing. Thumbs up

Beautiful stuff brotha, I`ve had my Mavic for ages and never knew about these features, Thanks sooooo Much🙏🙏😁😁
I AM FROM iTALY.... and i subscribed...you are Great !
in the DRONIE mode will the drone automatically set the HEIGHT for the distance set ?????
For the orbiting shots you can also try using active track.
I'm in San Diego. Not to much thunderstorms brewing over here.
What are those circles in the grass? I'm just now getting into the drone world I have my platinum coming Monday 👍🏻
Awesome video, very helpful. I'm going to pick up my Mavic Pro Platinum today!
Looks really familiar. Black Mountain Ranch Park?
Bill Reals yup
Excellent instructional video! Thank you very much for taking the time to show us these features!!!😎👍🏼

I like the Mavic Pro Platinum the most because of how quiet it is.
FlytPath thank you for that aldryn, really appreciate an honest answer, keep up the great work, platinum it is,
paul kirk .
Thank you! Your videos are very helpful!!!
Ya it auto records when you hit go and then stops when it reaches the end point. You have to hit record again manually to record the fly back.
Excellent instructional, thank you! ☺️
Thanks ed
Im from the netherlands and sometimes i dont understand some words.. but this vids are helping! Thanks!

I just purchased a Mavic Pro and your videos have been crazy helpful. Keep up the good work.
Great video! Do you have any advice on condensation inside camera lens. On about my 10th flight i started having condensation inside lens. I brought it down and it went away fairly quickly. I relaunched and it came right back.
Ive only had it happen to me when using filters, but I was flying in a very humid area. So Im not sure how you can fix it at this point.
Your videos are great! Just got into the drone/youtube scene and your content was invaluable. Thanks!
So cool to hear. Happy flying Robby.
Hi Aldryn,
