By far, your best build series, idk why, but I just love crash rebuilds. I need more episodes and longer ones immediately, please. I hope you do another crash rebuild after this one. Keep up the amazing work.
1) Peak Content right here. 2) Low key thought before you segued into the cliffhanger and post episode chat, I thought that segue was going to go into you and Tim walking back into the shop with some sledgehammer sized mallets and a 2x4 to straighten those frame rails. Looking forward to the next episodes 👍
Your voice overlay is my favorite part of the series. Those little post production editing touches make a huge difference for the viewers. Nice to see you and Tim pushing well outside your comfort zone for this build. Nice work.🔧
Awesome video as always Dustin. The Porsche Cayman is going to be so awesome y'all should make it MF Ghost Spec just like Michael Beckenbauer's Porsche Cayman.
Another gold episode. I had a feeling he would run into issues finding OEM parts from the dealerships but makes the build series even more challenging and a must watch. Let’s go Dut!
Dut sick vid and the Porsche Is gonna be a sick build series and an absolute beast of a car with your eye for style and how you upgrade your cars id leave it white add a bunch of Carbon Fiber valances , maybe a nice kit , definitely Twin Turbos , Exhaust , some nice BBS Wheels , and some sick seats and a wheel and enjoy ripping it and as always keep up the great work 👍
Hey Dustin! Thank you for recording this experience. I currently made my mistake of buying a VERY similar front wrecked Cayman T and may have to do exactly what you are doing.
I love Specialized German! They saved me plenty of times with my 996 rebuild. I think the guys name is Mel at the front desk and he has been super cool and helpful.
Dustin what you and Tim are doing is nothing short of amazing. I love how you always go all in bro. That is something special. Hope it all works out in the end for you brotha.
This series is one of the funniest of the channel, from the search for the car, the parts, the deconstruction... and soon in the races... Congratulations to you, Dustin.
wrecked cars will always have a story behind it. And it's cool you can create the next chapter of that story, so I'm all for this build series can't wait for more :)
I picked up your channel when I saw your R34 videos, and got hooked. I digress by saying I haven't watched all builds, but this one in particular has me hooked. You guys have obviously done your research and super excited to see the finished product. Good job you guys ❤
Storyline and editing is entertaining. Glad to see yall stepping out of your comfort zone. I use to do paint and collision work and it is a task for sure
Coming from a guy who just found your channel probably 6 months ago or something and someone who has never really been that into Porsche that much for what ever reason I’d say your doing a good job on the series. I’m interested to see how this all turns out. 👍🏼🤘🏽
It's amazing watching the direction this is going! I sincerely wish you all the luck in the world getting this back together, and having an absolutely sick GTS! Ganbatte!!
Gotta say I’m really excited for this series… it’s gonna be a lot of work but I knw you guys got it… gotta say the B-roll definitely is the icing on the vids…
yo dut, seamsealer isnt the one that connects the parts together. Its been spot welded together. That seam sealer protects the connection between 2 panels & is muffling the sound of those two connected pieces(for better NVH levels)
I can’t wait to see what all you have planned for this build! Performance and what color you end up going with, then to finally see this thing on the track is going to be insane!
I would just like to acknowledge the sheer level of production quality on this video, the editing and voiceovers could not have been more on point. Absolutely loving this build so far 😮💨👌🏻
great work, make sure you guys save the strut towers, these you can sell to recoup some money, , gt4 uses same ones and since suspension is stiffer these go bad a lot,
Dut's the man! Soo many hours went into creating the content for us slammed into a 20 minute video! Great series!! I'm glad they took this challenge on. You will never grow until you challenge yourself. #DOMORE
another Mat armstrong story , matt brought the tub from the UK since it was able to buy from them directly when he was rebuilding the 911 that was from adam lz. porsche US did not sell those parts at all.
You can buy some structural parts abroad. Mat Armstrong had the same issue with his American GT3 but was able to buy parts from UK dealers and bring them back :)
Hope you have the oem glues and a rivet machine to repair this back to oem standards. The front should have been aligned on a rack before dissembling the front end. Also next time you remove seam sealers like this, get a windscreen urethane knife and cut the top of the sealer off first then wire wheel. Hope this helps
dope build, love seeing these types of builds over buying a new car and tossing a racing seat in it with exhaust. but most cars are built like that. porsche isn't doing anything fancier than anyone else.
Let me take a moment to appreciate the way you filmed everything, the voiceover, the story telling etc, very well done for that man. As for straightening the frame, I would advise just getting a professional to come help with that so that you get it right properly considering you are wanting to build this to race it. Also, reach out to Matt armstrong.
Although I'm personally not really a Porsche guy I'm pleasantly surprised how much i like this Porsche build you go guys! it's really awesome i could watch this for hours on end (much longer then just 20 minutes 😂😜) maybe you can get a pulling bench..... don't really know how you call that setup to straighten chassis but you get what i mean 😏 keep it up guys i want more of this stuff 🎉🎉 next maybe a wrecked R32 as giveaway 😉
Dustin walking into the mouth of a Volkswagon Audi Group Mod shop...Will he catch the VAG Bug and dive into Euro Cars? Ah we can only hope. LOL The 280Z in the background stands out so much, I think I'm most excited to see that completed. Well you take the 981 Frame to a machine shop that has the machine that helps straight the frame out and pray the structural integrity of the frame isn't too compromised by the fix. Or you can possibly reinforce the frame on the inside so it doesn't add more space to an already tight fit. If you go back to that V.A.G. shop I'm sure you can find a Chewbacca Engine waiting for an old school MKI or MKII GTI or Jetta or maybe you could find a Corrado SLC VR6 5pd. Classic car to own now you are dipping into the EuroZone...Don't Fear The VR6 don't Fear Chewbacca! LOL
Keep up the good work bro I can't wait to see this build. Come to fruition. This is an amazing challenge for you guys, and this is inspiring me As well maybe to pick up an e30 or a rest car of my own 🎉🎉🎉
hello brother Dustin Williams Greetings to meet you from #Indonesia, I like the video you made about cars in Japan, I always support you, I always watch your videos from the past
You can fly to Europe and get any parts you are having a hard time sourcing. Matt Armstrong did something similar when rebuilding LZ’s GT3 * Need a counter on this video for how many times DUT says “now we have taken the entire front end off”
Ah yes! Nothing is more satisfying than cutting metal like butter. And seeing proper seam sealer rather then 60 year old gunk falling off the panels 😂! True German quality!
My brother said “if women can find something about your past , they can definitely find you the car part” Lmfao 🤣 Go T-Money !!!! 😂😂😂😂
A wise brother 🙏💯🤣
By far, your best build series, idk why, but I just love crash rebuilds. I need more episodes and longer ones immediately, please. I hope you do another crash rebuild after this one. Keep up the amazing work.

I love this series Dut just build it good so you can be safe in it. That car is so sick !
getting into that b is for build territory now, love this build so far man.
Yeah I was definitely thinking Chris would love this project lol
This projects being done right, unlike b is for bunky.
By far, one of the best build thus far. When Dut. And everyone looks for parts, things works out all in the end.
Hey Dustin! Thank you for recording this experience. I currently made my mistake of buying a VERY similar front wrecked Cayman T and may have to do exactly what you are doing.

Looks Awesome! Always loved the Caymans especially the GTS.
Mat Armstrong going to be so Proud
Dut almost at 800k and closer to that 1mill for that epic Hako on the channel and added to your insane Skyline Collection 👍
Loving that you guys get ypurself into this type of content, loving in all the parts
Love seeing you and Tim diving deep into this build and pushing the limits of your mechanical/body shop skills!
This series is one of the funniest of the channel, from the search for the car, the parts, the deconstruction... and soon in the races... Congratulations to you, Dustin.
wow this is great from you.. If I were doing this i would be E-mailing Armstrong in the UK like crazy
Great video series Dut! really enjoyable to watch and the production is on the money
Just wanted to say I like how you are switching up the video style. I enjoyed it very much and love your see the channel grow.
I really love this series my fam..... it shows the true side of your car love.... cant wait for the next one
wrecked cars will always have a story behind it. And it's cool you can create the next chapter of that story, so I'm all for this build series can't wait for more :)
This rebuild project is awesome! Pumped you found the hardest parts. And I like the voiceover style video
T-money for the win.
Also the GTR finally getting some love. Great vid.
im loving the rebuild but even more the different style of editing too! You’re stepping it up dut!
Yay another episode of Porsche Bulid series
I picked up your channel when I saw your R34 videos, and got hooked. I digress by saying I haven't watched all builds, but this one in particular has me hooked. You guys have obviously done your research and super excited to see the finished product. Good job you guys ❤

It's amazing watching the direction this is going! I sincerely wish you all the luck in the world getting this back together, and having an absolutely sick GTS! Ganbatte!!
Bro this build series is so sick! Crazy to see how newer car bodies are held together. So different than 90s cars
Gotta say I’m really excited for this series… it’s gonna be a lot of work but I knw you guys got it… gotta say the B-roll definitely is the icing on the vids…

This porsche build series is great.loving these episode 💯👌
So excited to see this build, as a Porsche fanatic. Watching you evolve into Porsche guy is great to watch. Hope it continues!!
Content is awesome... Been really looking forward to the progress. Taking your car building to the next level is awesome to see. Cheers
This new filming and editing style is top shelf. Looking forward to next week’s episode man!
I would just like to acknowledge the sheer level of production quality on this video, the editing and voiceovers could not have been more on point. Absolutely loving this build so far 😮💨👌🏻

What a great series, truly enjoying it.
Wow I haven’t been here in a while the quality of the videos is amazing Dustin wow top notch 🎉
great work, make sure you guys save the strut towers, these you can sell to recoup some money, , gt4 uses same ones and since suspension is stiffer these go bad a lot,

another Mat armstrong story , matt brought the tub from the UK since it was able to buy from them directly when he was rebuilding the 911 that was from adam lz. porsche US did not sell those parts at all.
The only problem for me with this series is wanting more of it. Can’t wait to see how this car turns out. I have faith.
Thanks for watching dude!! It’s gonna be great
You can buy some structural parts abroad. Mat Armstrong had the same issue with his American GT3 but was able to buy parts from UK dealers and bring them back :)
EP3 and it's getting better and better, once the series is completed I will binge watch them all again😎
Once again, T-Money to the rescue. The project looks overwhelming, but I'm here for it. 👍👍👍👍
So excited to see the finish product!
Talk to Matt Armstrong if you are not sure
And watch his videos
I was about to say the same thing
Love how you structured this video!
That’s not as bad as Kalvin Mali’s minimal rust GTR project. His poor soul. Keep it up!
Content and filming style goes hard!!!!
This Porsche project Goan come out amzing waiting for next episode 👍
I keep manifesting everyday that I WILL have a Porsche in my collection one day 🙏🏻
Dustin man, you've come a looong way. Congratulations brother. Now get that frame straight lol
I'm wondering what oem instructions they're following here 😅 section cuts, glue mating surface spec, the list goes on
Ide say non 😆 RUclips spec. Kinda cool in someways though if it just turns into a racecar, street with airbags will be no go though
super stoked about this porsche rebuild
dope build, love seeing these types of builds over buying a new car and tossing a racing seat in it with exhaust. but most cars are built like that. porsche isn't doing anything fancier than anyone else.

This is my favorite series/challenge you’ve ever done 👏🏻….Gives me all sorts of bad ideas
Man. This is gonna be a great restoration/build!!!
Really enjoying the new video format, more episode-ish rather than vlog-ish 💪🏻
I'm so excited for this build!! Maybe rebuild a Porsches for T-Money to come to the track?
It's like a Matt Armstrong vibe. It's cool
This is filmed and edited really great dude
Glad you enjoy!
I feel like you and Devin Niemela should one day collaborate on a rebuild of a car 👀
STI rebuild 🙌🏼
Dut needs an evo👀
EVO vs STI rebuild challenge collab would be so amazing to watch.
Definitely!
100%
Although I'm personally not really a Porsche guy I'm pleasantly surprised how much i like this Porsche build you go guys! it's really awesome i could watch this for hours on end (much longer then just 20 minutes 😂😜) maybe you can get a pulling bench..... don't really know how you call that setup to straighten chassis but you get what i mean 😏 keep it up guys i want more of this stuff 🎉🎉 next maybe a wrecked R32 as giveaway 😉
T Money the MVP for finding the front end and of course the Porsche too.

I love this so much! Do more of these ❤
Good luck to the legends winner of the TYPE R LETS GOOOOOOO

The GOAAAT!
hello brother Dustin Williams
Greetings to meet you from #Indonesia, I like the video you made about cars in Japan, I always support you, I always watch your videos from the past
Awesome job!
Blessings can’t wait to see the Porsche on the road
You can fly to Europe and get any parts you are having a hard time sourcing. Matt Armstrong did something similar when rebuilding LZ’s GT3
* Need a counter on this video for how many times DUT says “now we have taken the entire front end off”
Car is coming along good. Time to call up Matt Armstrong or tavarish, I’m sure they know the best way to bend the frame back
Ah yes! Nothing is more satisfying than cutting metal like butter.
And seeing proper seam sealer rather then 60 year old gunk falling off the panels 😂! True German quality!
Cant wait to see this thing done
Secure the porsche to the lift and use a winch to move the frame rail
Oof the way the forklift got that pallet down... butt clencher haha
Another Great Vlogs ever 👌
200k away from a million subs and the HAKOOO! 🕺
luv ur vids man
