    Great to know you could throw sparks, it's not something we've had feedback on before!
    I'm not surprised that other khukuris couldn't, the type of hardening they do leaves the spines completely soft, where as we bring the edge up to a high hardness and the rest of the blade up to a moderate hardness. Quick into oil, then hold at edge level for a few seconds then a dunk, then focus on the edge again. Works a charm.
    Thanks for taking the time to put this video together!
    Take care,
    Andrew

    If you think about it.... Khukris are just the offspring of an Axe and a knife. They're the Ligers of the blade world. Big 🧠 time.

    Fun video!
    I am waiting on my Kailash mutiny from dk&k. Been using kukris for a long time.
    This will be my first from these makers.
    I'm in the Yakima area, also central Washington.

    What grind did you pick!?

    • @pathrst
      @pathrst  3 года назад +1

      The standard one. I have slimmer kukri with the narrow grind. Haven’t gotten to use that as much.

      Niklas Fischer it looks bigger but feels smaller. That's the awesome part about this guy. And thank you! I intend to.
