They don't just admire Pixar they copied the intro from Pixar. I think that's kind of bullshit. Couldn't they just say "inspired by Pixar" or something?

This reminds of a chapter I had learned in English textbook . It's about a man who moved to London from Germany and was one of the best boot makers in London but never believed in advertising and because of that his customers became less and less every year and he aged really fast and he got less money and that money he mostly spent on the best leather and rent
OMG same - and that man died of overworking himself and then his brother was there at the ending part
And that was without the issue of having to also compete with 'fast fashion' (where designs can be reproduced cheaply in factories by people barely paid for their work). Yes, the quality obviously can't compare to that of handmade artisans, but it is obviously hurting their businesses terribly. This short did a great job representing that side.
Yeah the name of the story was "Quality".

making shoes is an art not a competition the guy in the window was very humble he made shoes with love cute animation
1. This shortfilm is about real life and consumerism. The large transnational brands with there striking ads and discounts can make you buy there low quality products.
2. This excellent shoemaker lost his faith and started making low quality and striking shoe to get client.
3. The man in black knows the value of the shoemaker products and wants to buy it, his name is Ripout Ventout, which mean in french, corrupt (ripou) and sells everything (vend tout ). And at 2:24 you can see the number 666, the number of the devil, which suggests that is a liar and doesn't have a heart and only cares about money.
