How did we go from such a classy, composed, educated, thoughtful well spoken leader to a dementia patient and a belligerent felon. Obama made me feel proud to be an American!
President Obama was the best president of my lifetime. Don't fall for the Fox, OAN, and Newsmax (among others, like Republicans in Congress) selling the idea that he has dementia. Yes, he's the oldest president, but he is still very good at his job, and exceptional as a decent human being who truly cares about the people of this country. He doesn't cater to the rich, or spend his time golfing and lying every five minutes. If it weren't for trump, I have no doubt that he would have loved to retire.
Why? Obama is a puppet just like Joe. Your post reminds me of a Biden quote: "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

Barack Obama is one of the smartest, most erudite speakers I've seen. He tried to bring the country together, but unfortunately, we learned just how many racist people there are in America. Its disappointing, because he's probably the best president of my lifetime. He was very respected by our allies, and showed that he was there to help the people in America, even the haters. Ten years from now, we may not be in a position to recover the sense of respect we have around the world that we have lost over the last six years." The answer to his statement is in 2017, the respect was eviscerated by 2017 by having Donald Trump in office in the United States as president. We Americans now have zero self-respect for each other and are completely tribal down the party lines, so no we do not have the "sense of respect we [had] around the world".

I guess you don’t realize the extent to which White Anglo-Saxon names-and people-dominated pretty much everything in the US from the very beginning until quite rather recently. I’m white with brown hair and green eyes but because I can tan, and am not blue eyed and blonde, I actually grew up feeling kind of “dark.” That’s how dominant, and numerous, white hegemony was, even in the 80s and 90s.
In hindsight, it's insane that we ever elected someone this young. He isn't even in his 70's *AND* he beat John McCain! Couldn't happen today.

I miss President Obama . He made so much sense. 🎉🎉🎉
His campaign in 08 was electric. Everyone really thought we had something special. Then he squandered it

Oh wait he didn’t. 😢
I know some things he did do.. but they aren’t nice. 😂
When he talks about speaking with Syria I think he means try to overthrow its government like we did in Iraq.
He looked like a baby back in those days!
Crazy to hear someone sound so presidential in 2024. What would be even craizer, is if Brandon Routh played Superman again!!!
Inspiring and yet sad at the same time. Inspiring because he has noble ideas that will move the country forward. Sad that during his term Tea party was born that became disgusting Maga. We are at the crossroad of history, democracy as we know it is under attack by Trump and his cronies.
Much deeper than that. Not just Trump, but modern politics in general. Each side of the aisle has contributed to division at the benefit of their own constituents. Traditional media, social media, so many factors.
LOL @ 6:29 saying he "decided [he was] black"
Few years later he became a multi multi millionaire
How dare you give Barack Obama any screen time? Any video time anytime at all? Why would you want to interview an patriot such as him? I'm on subscribing just because of this
