I just contacted the DNC to ask how I can express my opinion on who the new Chair of the DNC should be. The choice will be made on February 1st and I am hoping that "we the people" can have an influence on their choice. Marianne Williamson will bring some much needed positive changes to the party and I want to do whatever I can to help make that happen.

She is so well equipped to lead the kind of shift and focus and re-centering that is needed in the Democratic party....she has the moral fiber, the committment, the smarts, the ability to form powerful alliances....thank you, Marianne, for your conviction to what's possible and necessary now....

They need it because there is too much inequality in America, mainly in the obscene disparity between wages for workers and executives. That a CEO is paid 130 times the average wage is crazy. Billionaires and millionaires live off the backs of workers. Time to bring back something like the corporate and individual tax rate of the 1960’s with bigger threshold levels for workers. Time to get rid of all pollution from industry. Time for decent healthcare and housing subsidies for workers. Get real or there will eventually be a revolution.

I think the disparity of pay between workers at the bottom and workers at the top is more like 300 times more.
