Fallout 4: Tenpines Homestead, Quest and Build Start. Pt. 1. Day One. (pc/mods)

- Welcome to Tenpines Bluff, or, as the settlers call it, Deadpines. This is going to be built for just the 2 settlers with a separate cabin outside the main settlement for the Sole Survivor. As a Railroad Agent, it makes for a nice, isolated hideout spot. And, as a special feature, a homemade, underground shelter for the homestead.
As an intro to this build, I thought I'd add in some of the early building as well as some of the fun in getting Tenpines. Done without the Minutemen questing.
Power Armor! I don’t think I’ve ever seen you in PA! Fancy gun!!! And a trip to Corvega? I haven’t seen that red dilapidated house in quite a while! Loved seeing your build menu…you have so many options! Great flyover!💕 Now that’s a tall ladder!!! And an underground build! Very cool, my friend! Beautiful moon❤️
Thankya'! The PA I just picked up outside the Robotics Disposal Site, can't pass that up, lol. I like that gun because the targeting highlights targets while equipped. That's why all the ppl are glowing red. Had to do Corvega for the settlement quest, that's usually the one I get for 10p. I could almost do it blindfolded at this point, lol. For the broken house frame, I usually try to mask it with a shell build around it but for this I'm leaving it pretty raw. It works. And the ladder had to be tall to take me down deep! That mod comes in really handy for underground builds. Though Dogmeat got down there and didn't come out for about 2 days. You know, I built that deck just for the view, sky and otherwise, lol. You know what i have there? A giant communal block the size of whole settlement made with barn pieces... I will show it one day its just ridiculus.
Glad that you've kept that destroyed house, making it some kind of a lounge area. And again your quirky underground work is very interesting. It becomes your distinguishing feature. Have a nice build there!
Hello, and thanks, my friend! I've built some crazy stuff here too, lol. This time around, after already having done a few giant builds in a row, I'm going small. Only the 2 setters and my player character. So a simple homestead farm with a caravan stopover. And a kind of root cellar/shelter they can take cover in. lol, I do like doing stuff underground, especially if there's a good amount of room to mess around with. All that was probably about 7 hrs into the build, I've got about 18 hrs into it now and the site pretty much all filled out, now it's all the detail work to bring it alive.
Gotta get me some of those magic ladders! Your Abernathy and Starlight builds were so awesome no doubt this is going to be another banger! Ive been on a bit of a YT break due to a bunch of technical issues and irl obligations but i'll be using your latest builds to get me back in the building mood!
Good to hear you're back up and running, brother! And yeah, those ladders are a game changer in what it opens up for ya', lol. The mod is called, Climbable Ladders for Settlements. Got it on Nexus. Here's hoping both our endeavors work out well...
I am already intrigued to see where this one goes to just from this "intro" video. I have built a small horticulture holding there, a convenient place to grow Aster flowers to take with me when I visit FH on supply runs.
Hey there, buddy, good to see ya'! Making this just a 2 person site to shake off the big build burnout, lol. Got a lot more into it since these early shots, should shape up pretty well. Fingers crossed anyway. My usual use for here is as a settlement number to meet the required number of MM settlements needed before taking out the Insitute. lol.
