I had originally planned to make this a full animation but after drawing all those filler cats, I'm doubting myself xD
[ Storyboard Concept ]
( Note: This is not entirely cannon within the books; however, this is my interpretation on how the events before the final raid took. )
- Taking place within Shattered Sky, Darktail converses with Sleekwhisker about "being ready" to take on the Clans, and wanting to take revenge on Onestar. During this time, Squirrelflight takes over to calm down all the Clan cats that are taking refuge in Thunderclan territory. Her act of motivation gives Bramblestar courage to lead the way for all these troubled Clan cats, giving hope and courage to majority. Later, the Clan leaders meet in front of highrock to discuss their next move on Darktail and the rouges. Rowanstar has a bit of doubt due to seeing previous Shadowclan cats as rouges during their loss of their territory. Mistystar soothes Rowanstar, and tells him that they'll defeat Darktail and everyone will get their territory back. As the gathered Clan cats prepare, Darktail and his Kin wait, ready as they'll ever be for the final attack.

I decided to make a mini FAQ here so I won't have to answer the same questions here and there.
1. What program did you use?
- I used Adobe Animate for everything
2. Why use Mistystar instead of Leafstar?
- I was recently informed that Leafstar was infact with the Clans during the final battle before Darktail and Onestar's death. Even so, I believe Mistystar suits the part more because of her Kin being held captive under Darktail. Hence the lyric "I'll save my home and family" BUT I will include Leafstar in the circle along with the other clan leaders. It slipped my mind that she was there with them at the final battle whoops.
3. Why not make a multi-animator project (M.A.P) based on this?
- I have done this storyboard with the goal of doing it myself to keep the style consistent throughout the duration as well as for the transitions to flow better. I'm heavily focusing on doing most Warrior Cats animations myself rather than making it a M.A.P because it seems more easier to manage that way. I won't have to stress over due dates or who gets what parts or anything. I have also been debating on changing a few things in the storyboard which would've been hard to change if it were a M.A.P. I hope that clears things up!

I see your reasons on why you'd use Mistystar over Leafstar, but I wonder instead why you didn't use Violetpaw for that? I'm looking through my version of Shattered Sky just to make sure I'm right, and she and Alderheart are the ones to make the plan to save the prisoners. Considering at this time Darktail controls ShadowClan territory and Needletail is a prisoner, it would still work with the 'home and family'. And Alderheart could play the king, since he's the one she makes the plan with to save the prisoners.
I'm gonna be completely honest. I have never read a warriors book before. The first one I read was recently The Apprentice's Quest and I'm just starting Thunder and Shadow. Details like that is something I'd most likely miss, which is why I didn't include Leafstar in the first place since I never knew Skyclan was found and brought back to Thunderclan camp. I do appreciate you bringing this up, I haven't thought of it like that; however, I'm probably still going to stick with Mistystar because I want it to be centered around the Clan leaders in a way. Seriously, thanks a bunch! You've got me excited to read Shattered Sky

Amichie Well you did pretty well for only reading one Warriors book. And pretty good in general! I could never have the patience or hand to draw all of this, especially digitally! Good job!😀

I love this!! It makes a lot of sense that MistyStar said " I'll save my home and family" because she is saving RiverClan and some of her kind was held captive under DarkTail.
The scenes in this are SO GOOD. It seriously seems like something you'd see in an actual movie

This is one of the best animatics I have ever seen! Everything is so clean and dynamic, the bits of animation are exceptionally fluid, and the staging is a JOY. Can't wait to see more from you!

i love this so much! usually i don’t watch storyboards or warrior cat animations until i’ve gotten as far as they are into the books, and even though I’m only a book away from starting shattered sky this is still enjoyable and makes me even more excited to continue reading. i hope you make more storyboards like this in the future
Ahh this portrayal of the Map is so dynamic and gave me chills! I love the beautiful transitions and the nice animation at the end. This is A++

This is so well done! The character designs look beautiful, and the way it flows is perfect! You chose such great characters for each of the different parts, and Squirrelflight and Mistystar definitely suited the parts you gave them in this!
I wasn't sure on whether Squirrelflight would suit the part but Mistystar was a definite yes since she wanted to rescue her territory and her clanmates that are kept as prisoners by Darktail. I'm glad you enjoyed this!

Disney songs are really quite brilliant things to use for anything! I love how the voices suit the characters and their stories fit the lyrics. Besides thanking Disney, I thank you for creating such a great storyboard. Hope to see it finished one day ♥

I have no specific reason why, but I love the face that you had him make when he says "I'm the bad guy that's fine" - you can just see the conflict and near-hysteria if that makes any sense?? IDK, I just really like the portrayal and facial expressions.

I honestly think you should make this into a full animation. Something as amazing as this would really give your channel the boost it deserves!

Amazing job! Something I think might have been cool is if instead of Mistystar having that part, it might have been Twigpaw. Just because I personally relate that part to Twigpaw or Violetpaw more than Mistystar for this arc at least.

Ok so first of all, I just want to say that I absolutely love your art style, it’s so promising and really simple yet impressive. Second, is this going to be a PMV or a fully animated thing? If it’s gonna be fully animated to kudos to you man! Third, that ending gave me chills, the way how you animated it in the end looks really really good and I didn’t expect it to be animated unlike those other parts! Gah, I can’t wait for this to be done!
