- Inspired from Maya's architecture and partly from a Japanese temple, Waya it's a modular floating city.
The modular Waya pyramid can offer different living and entertainment settings, such hotel, shops, spa, gym, bars or cinema for any purpose.
In order to complete the main Waya pyramid, different modules are overlapped on the floating basement, which measures 54 metres x 54 metres in his largest module, extending the surface to about 3000 sqm.
The basement holds a large entrance for the boats and the reception to access the rooms, by subdividing his height in ten different floors with a total surface of 6500 sqm, the complete Waya reaches a maximum height of 30 Metres from the waterline.
Each Waya module can be coupled with a specific floating basement, creating itself another customized floating building.
The energy, provided autonomously from solar panels and water turbines, contribute to power with clean energy all the services and systems of the pyramids, including desalinators which are located in the storage under the main level.
In the sub merged part of each floating structure, a large amount of storage space is used for the engines, equipments, generators or additional energy resources.
Lazzarini is planning to initialise the building process of Wayaland, while starting a crowdfunding of the smaller two floors module (10m x 10m).
Accordingly to the designer, in order to build the first Waya-suite, € 350.000 will be necessary, sum easily available by starting to pre-order the avaliable nights of the year 2022 at € 1000 x night
(365 nights = € 365.000) on the website www.wayaland.com
Each contributor will vote, to decide where to rise the first Wayaland in the world.
Wayaland will offer a new offshore living eperience, a self sustainable community, built around the human on the water.
The floating modules, anchored to keep the position, will be also easily adjustable, while maneuvering with the lower mounted engines.
The chassis, composed in part from fiberglass, carbon and steel, will be assembled piece by piece while climbing the structure, after placed the basement, directly in the water.
Covered from surfaced solar panels, all the external surfaces of the Waya will be able to store energy from the sun.
Each investor/contributor will become a citizen of Waya and will receive the Waya passport. - Наука
Love these futuristic videos about how people can live in such dwellings peacfully and such. What I, don't love is the economics that will dictate who will be the only people able to live in such places.
One can only dream of such a wonderful future where everyone can live side by side in peace.
Nice utopia "a sea without waves", but excellent design, very beautiful.
This project is thought for calm waters as Lazzarini has explained in an interview. The houses are anquered. Do you think that normal houses can resist a Tsunami? No. He is a genius. He is fulfilling his dreams, his passion and his ideas become true. Chapeau!
The houses are anchored !
Anchored to what?

Did you get your answer
anchored to what?
Do you know were Wayaland is currently
That is beautiful, I could see that in Jamaica
@@gawdsoljah no, not that shetty place
What I love about the design is the ability to expand the structures by simply building a pyramid "shell" on top of it
Aside from not being able to go outside, it’s a wonderful concept!! Loved the buildings!!
Why can't you go outside?? You don't know how to swim

Great concept of a floating city .I appreciate
Wow. This is breathtaking.
Thank you for creating such beautiful art. Your ides are awesome and inspiring. Keep creating :)
And so it is! Gorgeous and thank you for gracing me to manifest this for all of us. And so it is!

Genius ideas I'm with it !
Круто! Мне очень понравились! Респект за мысль
Super !!!!!!
Wish I was done with college and in a good paying job, would contribute immediately to this project. After all I live in New Orleans, we have a very big lake with a whole lot of room and good waterfront infrastructure that would be a perfect site for a Wayaland development.
Geeky Lol could you imagine one of these in Lake Pontchartrain? I’m in New Orleans too.
And Ra will live forever! He gains his powers from the deep, and built a gateway to the sea!
Beautiful concept work 👍

I wish the company would post more info on this has construction begun and where?
It’s amazing
What about the waste? Discharge directly in the sea?
Man, I can see so many reasons this will never happen but awesome design idea!

I think somewhere in one of the pyramids there is a library with a complete collection of the '36 Lessons of Vivec'.
Good designs
Wow I'm sure they have thought about whether, I want one of those on sea and a couple of them on land like Colorado and other places. How do we get to have one build within the next 3 yrs. First on the land that I own now. Those are awesome designs. 👌👍
Do You know if they have a Model community built yet and Where? Are you serious about getting one?
Great and wonderful, all these dream will be happen and come true at Krung Angkor.
Super Wow!
Fantastic! I want to live there

Do you know where the
WAYA COMMUNITY IS? TO GO VISIT?
Make big ballast tanks , when storm and tsunami happen the structure will be very stable and heavy. great design inside an atoll would be amazing. i prefer pyramids instead of ufos, but they look cool as well
awesome
Quá tuyệt vời rồi, giờ hãy thêm công viên cây xanh và thêm một sở thú nổi nữa .!!!!🌍
I could see artificial islands like this one in the future!
Lower the construction cost. No high buying or renting cost. Give the buildings to the poor and homeless.
Do it with your money
storm and a great wave finished it, up and down building haha ,,
Nice
I like the shape that is the future I’m also working on something similar. Nice to see there are like minds here. Love the vision!!! There are specific stones that if put in the right place of the structure can elevate frequency generated by the structure.... let me know if you are interested?
With such beauty, one wants all.
Cool I'll take 2
Perfect evacuation secure safety in the obvious event of unexpected events nice vac spot. Add flood precautions system for quick recovery like water proof fixtures and floors walls insides,I think a winner p.s. add in hidden boat console for mobile options if a need should arise, and security windows to create water from entering during a rise in waves(a smart investment in a security measure);Living on the waters a gamble but should be a real nice experience 🙏.
Futuristic
fantastic!
That is the most amazing and elegant and beautiful sophisticated thing I ever seen. How much shall it cost
David cmkubai i’ve read somewhere it costs 350k € per unit.

Which Programm so they use?
Excelente
The project is exclusively for the lake and quiet water. But the design is great! I really like!
Another point. Which country will be located? Or neutral waters? Is there a chosen place?
The project site does not open ...
:(
I myself have been thinking about such a decision for a long time, but more from a technical point of view and legal. Design will be developed after
How safe would they be in a Hurricane?
Quite unsure about this. I see this is a concept for global warming/raising sea level concerns. The basis of this is good, but there's a lot of surrounding questions behind this.
1) What exactly would keep these floating buildings from smashing into one another in a hurricane, a tsunami, or unexpected rogue wave.
2) Is this conceptualized as something for a large lake? Or out in the ocean? And if the former, would this city be conformed to follow that nations laws and regulations?
3) Inflecting from the last question... what is there as far as law enforcement goes? What would be the community's guidelines? If we're out in the middle of the Ocean, would we have military branch(es) for protection?
Lots of holes leave too much room for queries. I am interested, but would probably become invested if at least these are answered.
em? it's not for deep water and regualations depend. i recon they are built for tropical islands on the equator. and it's a hotel. visit the website at lazzarini design
How do these stand up against storms or hurricanes?
Better than a traditional building.
Robert Cohn exactly my question
not a real answer...
This looks like a job of a designer with just an idea and with 0 engineer input...
It has a lot of weight under the sea level. Normally it would be difficult to move around.
Interesting concept, no match for a category five hurricane or a tsunami.
Wow!
hadiiirrr.....
I would be interested in finding out how these "floating buildings" would deal with the threats of adverse conditions; storms, typhoons, hurricanes, tsunamis, rouge waves, you know, fun things like those!!!!! My guess is the designer has not taken into account for that!!!!!
Ian Kravitz :: GO FUCK OFF !!!
You just move them befor the storm
@@GustavoGarcia-rk8zk YOU FUCK OFF. He has VALID points!!! WHERE is the footage that covers HURRICANES and TYPHOONS? WATER SPOUTS? ROGUE WAVES and TSUNAMIS? UNDERSEA QUAKE or VOLCANIC activity??
Having lived on a boat close to an estuary I would say it is surprising how they stand up to storms etc. Tsunamis are very rare events unless they begin to increase in the future, but the worst possible scenario I did find with boat living is when it snows, where snow gathers on the decks/roof or boom it increases the topload weight tremendously and if it settles unevenly and is not dealt with could tip the vessel over especially if the snow comes in with gales as blizzard force.

Reminds of my Vivec from Elder Scrolls Morrowind.
Ha, someone played Tropico 5 - Waterborne. This isn't such a novel concept but mostly overlooked for a long time.

I see some silly posts assuming this couldn't handle storms or hurricanes who clearly are unaware of all the house boats in the world.. My husband is a architect/engineer who says the pyramid shape gives a streamline shape over traditional boxy house boats that have been withstanding storms and hurricanes for decades now... Also the added weight of tens of these linked together would provide more than enough structural integrity to withstand said storms... Also these are not going to be built in tornado alley or anything
