Hey Curtis, do you plan to visit any photography conventions/trade shows this year? heading to the march trade show in west london myself so would be interesting to see who plans to be there.
Normally if you’re outside, the conditions are pretty consistent. Once you have taken a few test shots you work as you go and make adjustments based on the mood you’re going for.
Thanks for the video. I’m a beginner to photography and I can afford A7iv but don’t see the value of it. Would you recommend I would start with the 6400 then see how it goes?
Are those red lines on the screen that u see where is the focus special for a6400? I had canon m50 mark ii and it didnt have that. I was going to buy a6400 and now I think i will give a manual lens try :d Nice video ty man.
DUDE! In my entire career, one thing rains true, the only No that is 100% is the time you don't ask. If you want to get a shoot with a car like that, next time, ask the guy and hand him a card. Talk yourself up a bit and show him what you got just right then. I trust you would have gotten the chance to do the shoot with that car, easy. Good video and great shots, keep it going!
I love your channel good sir. There was another review that recommends 35 for APS-C instead of 50 because of the crop and he says it gives a similar effect. What's your opinion?
Cool images; traffic light best for showing bokeh. Love the police horses w/front legs in same stride. Were you shooting all images w/lens wide open? Is this lens APS-C (E mount) or full frame (FE mount)? All manual, no EXIF data sent to camera - correct? Cheers!
I wish you would show or discuss your recommend settings in these pov video's. I'm guessing you're using shutter priority with focus peaking and using -1.7 exposure compensation and ISO 100 in most shots
Agree, for a tech YT review, there's (almost) no tech! At least for each shot, show aperture (were they all wide open at f 0.95?), shutter, etc. Nice work otherwise 🙂
Hi I just accidentally dropped my 7artisans 50mm f0.95 lens (dropped the lens to the shopping mall ground/floor) and leaving one scratch mark & faded coating. And the lens glass still normal (didn't break) and the video & photo results also seems normal. But when I shook the lens body, I heard some shaking sound/noise, is it ok?
Thanks for the content curtis! :) Is it right that the full frame equivalent of this lens would be 75mm and F1,425 in terms of depth of field? (i thought the crop factor also affects F number in term of depth of field, not in catching light?)
@@CurtisPadley 50mm is 50mm...just because it is "natively for aps-c" (whatever the heck that is supposed to mean) does not exempt it from producing a field of view equivalent to 75mm or more when compared to a "full frame" or 35mm camera.
Who's up for seeing povs with vintage lenses on the A6400?
Sounds good!

Yes please with a 35 mm f 0.95 meike maybe?
lot's of shots from this video look pretty good without any edits. i prefered most of them unedited. love it!
Coole Shots Curtis. Like your content!
Thanks mate!
Thank you!!
Great video and i love the new background✌🏼🔥
Thanks mate! 🙏
I love your videos. How do you decide your camera settings for each shot in such a short and quick time

Pretty cool work!!

Spidy that was a ferrari, i know you're American but come on! 😂😂 It did rock though 🤘
@@CurtisPadley 😅😂😂🤪
You really master this lens. I tested it and my images weren't nearly as good as yours. Are you shooting open at .95?

🙋Can you do one with the 35mm f0.95 manual lens? Street photography and taking pictures of cars too? For Sony 6400 please
Love u man
that ferrari photos! godly…. the rain helped a lot :-D was this shooting on an order or something? :-D
How do you get such clear and sharp shots?
your photos are amazing and crisp. Loving the sharpness and bokah. I've got a a6300 and a sigma lens but they're nearly not as good as yours.
what lenses do you have. They have more to do with the photos than a camera.
@@Juutini sigma 30mm 1.4 with a6300
@@nhqbill you get more bokeh with longer lens and smaller aperture. example. 85mm 1.4 will give more bokeh than 30mm.

Maybe a dumb question but how do you get the red outline that highlights the focus
Turn on focus peaking in camera for manual focus

Is a good lenses? I think in buying
After watching this video. I ordered for my fuji x cam. May I ask you if all the pictures in this video was made by 0.95 stop?
Do you several images and then choose the best?
Subscribed ❤
Burst with mild manual focus shift so one of the shot is in clear focus. That's what I do with highlight peaking.
DAMN IT CURTIS... you're making me think about making yet another purchase 😅
What is the red think on the camera screen when he was trying to focus the subject? Can someone please elaborate?
your camera setting dude 🙏🏻

I noticed you did not use the focus magnifier here…
no autofocus?

How can we turn on the focus indicator in a6400
Where can I get this lense?

Glad you enjoyed it Nick! I should have mention this lens is for APS-C cameras so it is natively 50mm and F0.95 for cropped sensor cameras 🤙
