But one man, often confused with that one pikachu player that got stomped on at genesis that one time, has found something groundbreaking. Will Gimr finally save the meta from Pythra dittos and infinite top 64 ROBs? We will see…

No, it's the thumbnail from his phamtom footstool video from 2 years ago. With this + the trailer opening with a phamtom footstool, it's safe to assume the tech is related to footstools.
@@GoldMario777 I don't think so, in the trailer he actually scraps the idea of phantom footstooling. In the end a new symbol is revealed, which is infinity. The only things I can associate it with is sonic's run or the time being infinite, but those seem irrelevant.

Back in Smash 4, Mr Game and Watch was one of the characters, that I was pretty interested in. So GimR is actually one of the first people from the smash community, that I watched. It is nice to see him upload something, that seems to make him happy
Excited to see the new tech, on another note, lately I’ve noticed that sometimes when jumping back over the ledge my character sometimes has a few frames of a weird animation and is able to act immediately off the ground, it ends up feeling like a much faster neutral getup without invincibility, and it throws people. Not sure if it’s just a weird edge case of “A-landing” or something and no idea if its useful. Just wanted to share it. This is while playing Joker.
Yeah that’s called lagless landing. It happens sometimes and some characters like Mario and captain falcon can get unique convo extensions off lagless landing on platforms, but it’s just too inconsistent to be practical
@@mitchbeck17 Lagless landing? Maybe I’m a filthy melee player but it sounds like he’s describing no impact landing, where you don’t get your normal landing lag and can act immediately. I don’t know if Ultimate has an ECB but whatever is the equivalent function probably allows for NIL’s to happen.
I can't believe Gimr found a way to infinitely get up attack so that you're always invincible. This is going to change counterplay to tech reads forever

The only thing I can gather from this video is GimR has somehow figured out how to reliably infinite with someone and it's not who we expect. And if that's the case, it's going to make me wonder how it took so long for anyone to find it.
Ike's Aether can still pass through the stage like in older Smash titles if he does it at very specific points below the stage. I believe they're the points when the state geometry comes to a vertex.

I think he was trying to say lagless get up, which is doing a NIL from the ledge.
