INDIA Creates Another WORLD RECORD for Building LONGEST DOUBLE-DECKER FLYOVER

The Nagpur metro rail project in Maharashtra has set a new record for building the longest double-decker viaduct with an elevated highway, and Metro Rail supported on a single-column pier.
Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records have recognised this engineering feat. They have also recognised another record of constructing three metro stations on a double-decker viaduct.
“Another World Record in the bag! Heartiest Congratulations to Team Maha Metro and Team NHAI on achieving the world record in Nagpur,” Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said.
This 3.1 Km long double-decker viaduct was built jointly on Nagpur’s Wadha road by Maha Metro and NHAI.
This double-decker viaduct made possible a three-layered transport corridor with the first layer occupied by pre-existing highway, the second layer by a flyover highway, and the third layer by Nagpur metro rail.
The flyover highway is built at the height of nine metres, and the metro at 20 metres.
While 2.7 km of this multi-layered corridor has a four-lane road on its second level, half km has a six-lane road.
NHAI has used RIB and spine techniques to build this viaduct.

In Bangalore 3.5 KM double decker bridge is almost nearing completion. It is also double decker same as the above. Road Fly over and over that metro flyover. Jayadev metro station n Bangalore is being constructed where there are 5 levels of transportations exists at same place. An under pass road and a aperpendicular groubd level road. And over that there is a road fly over . Over the road flyover there is a metro flyover and over this metro flyover in perpendicular way another metro bridge is present and there is a metro station at this junction. This is even more complex and is nearing completion.
You are comparing Metro city with non metro city. Bangalore is IT city Nagpur is developing...if you want to compare Bangalore then compare with Mumbai or Pune...

Sir, stable governance is the key. If you keep swapping govs. like a card game .. It is not going to help, no matter how much ever a gov. tries. Whereas, Gujarat what would I say, they have different attitude and true cosmopolitan atmosphere, cause have felt like they are more nationalist than any other state right from the beginning. Whenever there use to be some panic due to terror activities in some part of India, they would be the first taking nationalistic stand for protection of our countrymen. That point of time there is no majority/minority in question, as even minorities have welcomed change else they know when 6 cr dhokla/khakra eating veggies take a swift stand.
