I know maybe this was half joke, half real, but I'm seriously going to use Redi Shade at my next place. That looked like a simple and quick job. Also, even though he was a bit rough in his handling, the shades stood up well.
Who has time to learn about strings? OMG, I’m laughing so hard. I didn’t know we are so poor a country we couldn’t figure out how to work regular blinds. Thanks for the laugh!!
You are right Chris, the shades did not hold up and fell on the 3th day after installing them on day 28 after purchasing them. The glue went completely dry with the California summer weather. I bought them in Amazon and the manufacturer did not honor the warranty. The RedyShade Easy Lift Company said the bad glue quality is not cover and try to return them to Amazon, 30 days had past. The RedyShade company recommended to use some other glue products... go figures, $200 for 4 shades from shady business.
Not mine. Had them up for 3 months before I removed and put better ones up. You have to clean and dry the area well before , unless your surface was too rough
@@AgentOffice still functions well. i had it in a shower window so the humidity got to the sticky tape. i think in a normal application it would still be up.
Bought mine from. The thrift store for $2. Make sure you clean the surface before you apply. And it will hold up.
Wonder how long they hold before the adhesive gives out?
I put some gorilla glue gel along the adhesive when I installed mine. Mine are still up 6 months later with regular use 😅

yea man, i didn't know what to expect when I got my first my first one. This easy lift shade is only like 30 bucks and works really well.
Thank you for the video. I'm on my way to home depot to buy this now.
What was the smooth stone used for?
I can't tell if the natural color you have is more of a beige or is it more off white?
That cut edge was all jagged and bent that's why you didn't show it. If you cut these on a chop saw they look pretty good.
Why did you cut both sides?
Awesome...........m..i..k...e

I don’t understand so it’s just help by sticking? How can it hold so tight
The glue quality is horrible, the glue goes bad immediately - 3rd day and it dries like old gum... it does not last in the California summer weather..
Are they thin wear cats might destroy?
what if i have a flush window. no sills or indentions
tape used to attach? uh-uh. that's gonna end up falling off at the worst time. nope. must be screwed to hold that shit up indefinitelty.

They don’t seem worth close to $100 for one tho with how thing and flimsy?
$100?? I bought one in Home Depot for under $7.00. Maybe you were looking at a box of them.
