I bought some wallpaper from a secondhand store to make some a month ago but wasn't sure how to do them! So thanks very much. And I'm going to make the defuser today.
I Love the blinds.❤️❤️❤️ But... Ummmm those are Limes. Not lemons. But they both smell nice. Like it too. But again... As a retired radio tech that antenna is??? Easier to buy an antenna that won't fall apart so easily or use a metal coat hanger. Works just as well as that monstrosity made here.
Not only that but the wallpaper although beautiful isn't wide enough for most windows in the states plus how do you roll them back up during the day???? Great idea in theory but needs alittle more research for wider windows and a way to bring the shade back up again during daylight......Thank You ❤
@ConfusedGlacier-lw9tbfrom what i remember reading (and I cannot tell you where I read this) but years later I saw a news show saying our laundry detergent and softeners were toxic. So, I recalled what I read, and thought I guess that was true. When chemicals were found to be poisons instead of disposing of them safely, if there were a way, they didn’t want to trash billion$ of toxins, so they sold them to companies to use marginally in consumer goods. One of the goods mentioned was laundry cleaners and softeners. Not sure if this includes dry cleaning cleaners or not. I am not sure that this is the only branch of goods that bought these chemicals. I would not be surprised if insecticides were included, as well as things like lice shampoo or such. I don’t know. But I am going down the rabbit hole again today to see if I can find the article I read years ago.

WHAT ARE THE STICKS SGE USES?
Wallpaper isn’t wide enough to cover most windows. Great idea, but you should consider the widths.
I just cut my wallpaper according to the measurements of my own windows and it turned out perfect
I just added two lengths of wallpaper because my window was very wide so I just made two of these and then trim them they were a little too wide
True if its a small window then yeah....
join two rolls together with wallpaper border adhesive
That is so smart! It is perfect for a temporary solution (or permanent if you want) but great for rentals.
As for fragrance, do everything except softeners. The limes, cloves, baking soda -- all natural, all good!
I really loved the blind idea.. you can find discount wall paper anywhere
Exactly. Many discount and thrift shops or restores carry it. Even home decor shops have rolls they toss out.
Store clearance too
We don’t have cable tv here in my town in the USA. EVERYTHING is done over the wireless internet
The instructions for the blinds are not clear. Will search for another video with full directions.
Thanks for video! Watching from Canada.
Wilkes Barre, PA ...can't wait to make shades👏👏👏👏

It cost more than that at a dollar store! 😮
She didn’t use the whole roll
Not here where I live. $25 per roll

Thanks for that😁
Do they work like a regular pair of blinds? How do you raise them?
Limetta lemons are green
What if wall paper isn't wide enough for window, only works for windows exactly same width??
Hot glue oruse Elmer glue to to add two of the same together in length now proceed with instructions
Where can you buy wallpaper for one dollar
Dollar tree store, 99cent store, amazon?
Lemons or limes?
So the wall paper is free?
Wallpaper for window shades seems a really bad idea if the backing melts off
Thank you!!! Much needed🎉❤🎉
I love it
Thanks for sharing.
Sounds good in theory and looks nice but wouldn't they rip after a short time.
IKEA sell paper blinds and yes they last
Wallpaper is quite strong.
Then make another or use stronger paper

Those are limes, not lemons!
If you have traveled at all in your life, you will know that limes are called lemons in many countries.
great video.
Awesome I’m in Alabama
I will try to make these blinds but I am not crafty 😭 edit isn't that a lime? Not a lemon 🍋
That's what it looks like to me! 😟
Surgical spirit in the uk is rubbing alcohol by the way💜
I’m old school, I do inches not centimeters.

I like the ideA of the pleated shade. Lot of work tho
I wonder if you could use fabric in the same way?
@@jackyfreeman5530I would imagine it would work if you starched it heavily.
@@octopussyocto That's what I was thinking! 😂
Those are Limes not Lemons
fabric softener of any kind is very toxic.
