I gotta admit, I wish most of the instructional videos I watch were this simple. I don't care to have something done the absolute "best way" possible - I just want it done as simply as possible.
I love, love, love that you didn't edit out your attempt with the knife. I totally would have altered my course as well when first seeing scissors not working as I expected. THANKS for making this realistic - and easy!
That thumbnail had me believing the entirety of this video was you buying the product, opening it, and then cutting it in half before throwing it away! What a twist!
The sun is brutal in Texas😳. I just bought the gray ones, in case the sun turns them a weird color. White seemed like it would turn yellow. Thank you for the video,😎
We offer a 48" option in this style for larger windows that can be trimmed down to 37". You can learn more about our Original Paper shades at www.redishade.com/product/original-shades/

Thank you so much! Just got home with Mine from the store. I needed this video.
I will say the opening of the product is why I stayed and I am happy I did. The video had entertainment and knifes. You can’t go wrong with that.
I love this video. Showed me exactly what I needed to see and you're funny!

Good video , short & quick !! & looks easy Thanks!
Thanks. I am going to try a hacksaw.
Thanks for being concise and to point
How did that work?
I would have thought that a good pair of very sharp or recently sharpened scissors would be the best way to cut.
@@harwoods11 My windows were wide so just put 2 side by side and did not cut
I laughed so hard! Thank you lol I definitely feel like I can install this!

Informative but funny. Love it.
You're supposed to hold knives aligned with True North. No wonder it didn't work....
Lol so funny!! Been there. I guess I did it right lol good video.
No annoying music...no life story hahahaha!!!!!
I don't think this was supposed to be as funny as it was, but thank you
Didn't know eastbound knives work better ! You're funny! 👍
Fiiiiire thank you!
OMW to purchase 2 of these in black. They are so cute
A razor blade in a box cutter is probably the easiest way to cut through all those layers
I have these in my house uk they are uv protect and keep sun out as I have sun all round my house they are great
Bless this video
Clean your windows while your at it there all black mould around the rubber seals
Probably the main reason he bought the shade, to cover that up!
Best instruction video ever. Haha.
At night could you see light and shadows from outside the house or is it complete blackout? No light showing through from the outside.
Scissors work perfect if u do it right
Remember you always want to hold your knife East.
Are there no clips to put up blind?
Yes there are
How long does the adhesive last?
My fell right off but I think it was due to the paint and texture of my wood . I went ahead and just tacked them in place, worked like a charm.
Have you removed it yet? If so, did it remove the paint when you removed it?
Came here for this info!
I was given a knife at first too 😂
how wide do these come?
HOW DID YOU DO THIS ONE HANDED LOL
my windows aren't recessed. Do you think they would still hang right if just pasted to the wall above the window?
I think it would work, not sure about the look though.
LMAO!! Way to go!!
Great tips. How do I cut a shade like that to 37"?
