The plot of this game is so insane it could only have been in a fan game... but also weird that the lore is like "ya these X pokemon are invading our world, hailing from a world of darkness and evil.. but everyone has an X mon as their ace"
Craziest part is technically Xenoverse isn't even done yet. There is still Pass 5, and the bonkers part is just how "endgame" the Pass 4 ending is. So I definitely am interested in how they top that.

defenitely agree, the best pokemon game ive played as well. the diversity of new pokemon and x forms is such an amazing detail, which allows a lot of room for making teams that consist of pokemon you know little to nothing about (i prefer that over sticking to what i know). in terms of difficulty id say it could get a little more through most of the main story, as my trishout quite literally fire punched through every fight. lucklily that missing difficulty is added in the post game/free dlcs, where i took 3 months to take out the mega suicune (and failed a shiny, ouch)
yep that was a pain indeed i ended up winning using trishout x greninja for main fire power (since her team consist of mainly stuff weak to fire) x toxapex for toxic spike removal and counter toxic spike setting mega raikou as lead to kill toxapex and do decent damage to other mons shulong simply because its very bulky and x mewtwo as your typical can hit anything hard mon ik its a very op team but i feel like thats kinda what u need to do for this fight
@@General_Cree-vis I tried that technique but it didn’t work because she switched, killed my toxepex and than she used acid rain. After grinding on the internet I found a youtuber named xatumi KO and his technique is pretty good, but it still failed. His tactic was to set up with mewtwo x and kill every thing with flame charge for the speed boost and and acrobatics, but the technique worked only before the acid rain update (1/16 of the Pokémon hp, works on all Pokémon which doesn’t have poison or water type) so it didn’t work, so I changed the move acrobatics to psystrike and she had two Pokémon left before I died(rest of my team wasn’t ready). The next day I used the x mewtwo, M entei, fire starter, heatran, luxfelon and genesect to win the battle.
And considering that this game was made by an italian team make more proud of the work that was done with this masterpiece ( i’m italian if it wasn’t obvious by now)
Also music absolutely slaps. A and B's theme is one of my favorite, but Team Dimension theme, X Theme, Gym theme, Fury Battle theme and many more also are really good.

@@thediabolicalraisin8953 Exceptionally. The story is absurd and terrible, the exp curve is _comprehensively_ fucked, and the balance of all the new Pokemon and moves is terrible. One of the "Elite Four" counterparts has a Pokemon which has Contrary, Overheat as _its only move,_ and a goddamn Choice Scarf. (These terrible design decisions are universally defended with the worst sort of competitive elitist fanwankery.) It certainly has one or two neat ideas, but the Nuclear type is just Shadow Pokemon with the serial numbers badly filed off, the plot is full of beats that go nowhere even though they really should be addressed, and the core of the plot is "the protagonist of Pokemon Ranger is dark and brooding and ignores his child to focus on his work now, also nuclear terrorists". And, again, it's not even mechanically good because basically everything in the game is keyed to be a glass howitzer and the team utterly mucked up basic things like cash rewards, shop prices, and experience yields. Also most of the team gave up and left it unfinished, and the people who picked it up afterwards have been much more interested in stamping out bugs than things like finishing sidequests or programming in an entire postgame town.
It's a fan-made Pokemon game... But You're 100% right. Pokemon Xenoverse probably has a better story than most Pokemon Games I've played (With the exclusion of Legends Arceus). As a writer, *_I wish_* Official pokemon games had a story as good as Xenoverse.

I think sound and light will be added eventually as types to the main series. I think sound will be super effective to be against steel however, as a way to reduce just how strong steel is defensively
If sound does get introduced, bug should be immune to it. Both to give bug type some extra use and because it makes sense because most bugs are deaf irl

I've played a lot of pokemon fangames but by and far Xenoverse was the only one that made me feel H Y P E at scenes. The ariados cut or the ponyta cutscenes or the ghostbusters moment just. magnificent.

If I recall from another play through, the gist is that the Pokemon are dark cuz they were born in a dark world, but they aren't necessarily evil

and I could not beat gleam dahlia (pass3 final boss) for (over all from 22.12.21 to 18.5.22), 4 months and 27 days.

Also, another very small nitpick, there are no Regional Variants in Eldiw, all the strange pokemon are Pokemon from the Xenoverse, so X Pokemon

Man, the only other two games I remember that had the word "Xenoverse" were Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This and the former two games explore parallel universes.
