      He’s talking about the pass game which has been the ravens biggest issue, Odell wasn’t number 1 but him just being on a route makes the defense think and that’s all you want

      Dan’s words were that Odell was a relatively solid piece. He was hardly being over dramatic. He had second most yards on the team so it’s not an incorrect statement.

      If u had even an ounce of ball knowledge you’d realize It’s a completely different situation then what he was in in Baltimore where he was basically a WR1 and one of if not THE guy the defense had to focus on compared to Miami he’s the clear WR3 he’s gonna be open all the time it’s just a matter if Tua can get him the ball.

      @@roob9337hold your horses.. the hype for him as a WR in Miami is fine. We are talking about Dan acting like he was a massive factor in Baltimore. He hardly played in the playoffs and had 35rec all season. He was not a big factor, he’s way past his prime and at this point is only a WR3/4.

      as the dolphins WR3?.. that’s legitimately the caliber receiver he is nowadays so he’s a great WR3 for them.

      Typical dramatic and ridiculous self. It is ignorant to act like a guy the coaches didn’t hardly play in the playoffs, had 35 receptions for 3 touchdowns is a huge loss for Baltimore. Odell is way past his prime and in Baltimore he did absolutely nothing…
      With tyreek, waddle and electric RB’s he will get his targets and be a solid WR3. He won’t be a huge factor but as a 4th or 5th option behind Mostert, Achane and the speedy WRs.. he will do his part.

    Odell had 35 receptions for 565 yards and 3 touchdowns. Playoffs he had 7 total targets. He’s not a big factor at all. Odell was healthy in the playoffs and they opted to not play him full snap count and hardly targeted him

      He becomes a factor in Miami when you have the defense having to worry about Tyreek and Waddle. Odell in the slot will thrive. Not saying he will be Odell of old but he is still a great option to have if your #1 and #2 (WR) are being doubled.

      I would say it was the Ravens scheme and not Odell because it is a run heavy offense now Odell is WR#3 in a pass heavy offense I think he's going to cook this year

      Lamar was 230 year before last by training camp so yes , he was and that dolphins game where he ran 40+ for a touchdown you could tell because who do you know has ran lamar down in open field ?

      Yeah the NFL does the same thing the WWE has always done. They exaggerate people’s height and weight. Not every player, but some. Probably because their actual height or weight would be shockingly small. Lamar is probably like 220 at the heaviest he’s ever been but I don’t even that much. Maybe 210

      Yeah you can only really put on 15 lbs of muscle in a year if you've never really lifted weights before. 15 lbs for guys that have been in intense lifting programs for more than a decade is absolutely not happening.

    The NFL lies about player's heights and weights like the majority of professional sports organizations. Russel Wilson was listed at 6'1" his rookie year. He's currently listed at 5'11". How'd that happen.

      False, idk where you got that info from but I remember watching that draft, the combine, all of it and he was listed at 5’11, and the whole knock on him in the draft was he’s “too short to play qb in the nfl”

      Are you saying that Titans team is remotely as good as that Ravens team? Henry on that ravens team is a totally different animal to deal with. Tannehill is a non threat compared to Lamar.

Titans that year had a top 3 o line unit and the ravens are gonna be in the bottom half of the league this year with how many people they lost

    Man sports physiologist wouldn't be too happy with this I have a degree in medicine and even I know dropping that much weight you're going to lose some bone density I remember in the off-season when Alex Smith dropped weight 30lbs as he was getting older to be more Nimble....his leg exploded that season.

      I watched every fins game the last two years. It actually did help a lot. You can tell he is rolling into the ground and keeping his head up. Still big hits but better impact with the turf. And his first season without an injury. Still nervous about the weight drop but being able to scramble is more essential at this point.

      Lamar went back to the weight that he was the first two seasons, in which he was injury free and faster. He was 225-230 the past 3 years and 2 of those seasons were ended by injuries lol, so clearly the extra weight wasn't protecting him

    I'm actually shocked to hear that Tua was 235lbs? Lol.. They sure? He looked way smaller than that like 215 at least. At first I was concerned for a running QB like Lamar losing weight but to my knowledge I've never seen Lamar take big hits like Cam Newton & Josh Allen so I don't think it matters for Lamar.

      Lamar is really good at avoiding big hits. I have friends who call him injury prone because he runs and they obviously don't watch the games. Very rare to see someone get a solid hit on him.

      Why would he run less? He’s the best duel threat in nfl history that’s running and passing. He doesn’t get hit so injuries isn’t a problem the only times he’s ever got hurt was in the pocket

      @@echutch you are missing a key factor. It helps his throwing power. Acceleration is force times mass and acceleration of the football causes more velocity, so the more mass you have the more strength you probably will have to equating in faster and further throws. Its the same reason why most the power hitters in baseball are obnoxiously muscular or fat

    I don't think dropping weight for Lamar is beneficial. The referees do baby quarterbacks more and more each year, but with running quarterbacks like Lamar they can get absolutely clobbered and the refs won't call it. Losing that much weight might just make him more injury prone.
