It's sad cause here in Charlotte there is a fairly big link with german culture. From the name of the county, to some of the companies here, and even a german style brewery. I took a direct flight to Munich on Lufthansas introductory flight from Charlotte for like $200 rt back in the early 2000s.

It's not a real ban, it's a "ban" for soccer teams and a few teams from other sports honored it during the Olympics but it's not required for non soccer sports
