We all know the most embarrassing NFL play of all time was the Colts punt play against the Pats … one center, no other linemen. IYKYK. Don’t let Pat off the hook for that one
What about the other colts play that they lined up two guys and then snapped it 😂
Talk about vivid memories you haven’t thought about since happening. Whoaaaa
Mark Sanchez butt fumble arguably the most embarrassing
@@ForThePeople777That’s the one OP is talking about
Nah, y'all are wrong. Remember when the Cowboys put Zeke at center to try & block an LB? That was the worst.
Bill is hilarious “terrible absolutely terrible game losing play terrible”. 😂😂😂
He is so disgusted
"no you don't" 🤣
That’s prolly a glimpse of what he was like as a coach 😂😂😂
@@Ahtaht227 He looked like he was trying not to vomit. Tony Dungy is the one that really surprised me. They showed him the video and for just a moment, where Coach Dungy wanted to Cut him...the Steel Curtain Safety looked like he wanted to strangle him.
Just like that play the patriots botched against the dolphins in 2018?
As a Titans fan, we appreciate you all not talking about us. We had about 10 worst plays in NFL history yesterday.
U did have one of the best with Wycheck RIP v the Bills
😂😂 Man it’s hard being a titans fan, Insanity at its finest 😭
Hey the first play of the game on defense looked good
Between trading AJ Brown, the Derrick Henry signing and trading dhop to the chiefs... You've had enough, my friend 😅
We can all forgive the Titans for losing because it is against the lions. It was a blow out, not a choke.
“Even if you absolutely had to talk shi-“
“You don’t.”
😂Bill is funny
AJ getting visibly uncomfortable by the way chicagos defense played the hail mary and moving around like he is trying to hold in one of Ty's sharts is the best.
I don’t know…That play the Colts ran against the Patriots a while back was pretty embarrassing 😂
As a colts fan, that was the worst play ever called in history by a long shot.
Look at the giants two point conversion last night 😂
@@TrumpisgodI’ll let you off with this reminder: Ezekiel Elliot playing center 😂😂
@@evangelionl0vr857 yeah that was pretty darn stupid too… it’s up there for sure. But it’s the cowboys so it’s not completely uncharacteristic of them.
I love how AJ reacts every time he sees the tip and catch like it's the first time he just saw a guy get sledge hammered in the crotch.
Soooo 29 for the Bears would've have been better off jawing with the fans, vs sprinting over late, to bat the ball in to the hands of a waiting Commanders receiver...yeah, he's definitely having a bad film day.
Plus this is getting national coverage. He is getting an earful all week.
I was going to say he was literally the guy who tipped the ball into the commanders hands lmao
Idk if he didn’t tip it, it goes directly to Noah anyway ….look how low 31 got off the ground and wasn’t close…either way HTTC
counter argument, if he was more focused and locked in and not losing the guy he was responsible for (noah brown), he probably could've given better coverage.
i mean...talking to the fans is pretty dumb. but he still got into perfect position and was the only defender to get a hand on it. the way it went straight to the reciever was just bad luck.
The worst play, is the Seahawks not running the ball, at the 1 yard line, to win the Super Bowl, and you had Marshawn Lynch.
A “what if” situation isn’t embarrasing or worst play. Lynch has been stopped behind the line before
@@PriCEGotBeats definitely top 5!
Not even close
@@anthony3981true and its by the one yard line
But he seemed unstoppable that game. Everyone at home expected the run
As someone who is a fan of neither team, this was a pure example of coaching and team personnel matters. The Bears made so many mistakes leading up to this play. Didn't use a single of their 3 timeouts, allowed an easy 14yd gain to make the hail mary more manageable, and then like everyone is saying they did not play the ball well at all with all bears players playing for the first throw and not the tip or rebound. On the commanders side, Jayden didnt even throw it far enough had it not been tipped forward. However the better coaching had their receivers playing the forward and backwards tip which allowed them to steal the game away at the last second.
You’re 100% spot on. What’s even worse is all those coaching errors you pointed out are barely top 5 of their errors that game
I think the free out might have been in the hopes of gaining draft position by losing. The conventional wisdom, known even at the high school level, is indeed to defend the out and force a complete into the middle of the field or a throwaway.
Detroit blitzed Vikings in the same situation two weeks ago, prevented the heave.
Arizona blitzed Rodgers in the same situation in the playoffs and gave up the TD.
The Seahawks once dropped 10 into coverage in this situation and got a stop.
The defense should almost always be successful in this situation regardless of strategy.
That being said, the Bears strategy was one of the dumbest I've ever seen- keeping 4 down linemen in and doing a traditional pass rush
The worst play in history was in this game, but it was when the Bears were on the goal line 2 possessions before this and handed it off to a back up center and fumbled it immediately.
As a Bears fan, this game was real tough... 😂😂😭😭
But the double doink exists. That pains me eternally knowing we had Robbie Gould at one point.
As a Bears fan, this is about the time in a head coach's tenure when we start wondering who the new coach will be in the next season. Coach E can handle a defense, but it feels more and more like he and his crew are in over their heads here.
@@frippertonics6421 Yeah, every 4 years about.
65 yard pass with hurt ribs, tip of the hat to Jayden Daniels.
Cram it. He was shot up with pain killers.
@umphfr3ak "cram it" how about F U.
@@umphfr3ak "cram it" How about F U.
@@umphfr3ak "cram it" go kick rocks
@@umphfr3akYou couldn't do it on steroids. 😂😂
The butt fumble has competition. #29 😂😂😂😂
Now now let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves 😂😂
I still remember that and it was hilarious 🤣
@@ryles1159 Until the Jets get 8 wins a season, would we let it go. It ain't happening this year.
The sad thing is earlier in the game he made a TD saving play on Ertz by knocking the ball out of his hands before he came down with it. That’s all forgotten now after this 🤦♂️
He knocked it out of Ertz's hands while Ertz was lying on the ground. I will agree with you that he had a good game outside of this play, though.
#53 didn't do a damn thing. He was just there to make sure Daniels didn't run. Really stupid.
As a Bears fan: just let me die in peace
NO
Even though you are last in your division u still have a decent playoff chance
@@WHOOP1976 That is true, but you understand that last night doesn’t really make me confident about facing the Lions and Packers lol
As a Commanders fan I think you all will be back. The true test is how Williams handles Decembers in Chicago, but if he can play in that wind tunnel then you all will be fine for a decade.
As a Bears fan, we should have left Stevenson in DC. Make his ass walk home. IDC if our fourth string is a double amputee, Stevenson should be ridding the pine for a quarter at least.
Pat always trying to get the newest most embarrassing play 😂😂
Most embarrassing has to be Dan Orlovsky stepping out of the back of the end zone for a safety. Everyone knows about that. What they never remember to point out is that Detroit lost that game by 2 points in what would become their 0-16 season.
And Dan loves to hyper criticize bad QB play; they oughta make run that clip every time he does so:)
@@05645ci I love when they introduce him as "Detroit Lions Legend Dan Orlovsky." I mean, they're not wrong
Yeah, Dan BLEEPING Orlovsky. Hard to believe that he’s an ESPN analyst now.
11:55 a few years ago the Raiders fired their coach for losing a game on a Hail Mary when he sent a blitz pass rush
There’s like 30 PAUSE worthy moments in this segment 🤣
3:23 fam ! lol
Front tip and back tip 😂
The Giants 2 point conversion attempt vs. the Steelers would beg to differ. .
No, that allowed me to hit the tiebreak exactly in my weekly pool to win.
I can't think of play. But game I gotta go with when falcons let Brady come back from a million points
Make no mistake. Acquiring Deshaun Watson for 230 million, guaranteed plus THREE FIRST ROUNDERS... THAT's the most embarrassing play in Football History.
Bill had to be happy to see the Pats beat the Jets….he got all his dunks in and then was able to see his least favourite owner lose
Mark Sanchez is thanking God right now that the Butt Fumble is no longer the worst play in NFL history.
butt fumble is way worse than a hail mary
Worst play is the colts one linemen snap 😂
Nah we ain’t forgetting the Colts
@mdntctyvlcn lol naw, it's still in the conversation for worst ever. Forever!! 🤣
This competes with Jim Marshall's wrong way fumble recovery as the worst defensive play ever. At least Marshall made and honest mistake. Karma got 29.
What I loved and the overhead camera showed was an actual 65-yard "Hail Mary" pass was thrown and caught. Beautiful!
Ngl, that 2 point attempt from the Giants was pretty embarrassing.
It allowed me to hit my mnf tiebreaker points exactly to win my pool this week so I think it was great
@@Calibrownsfan that's called, "luck".
Jackpot 1000 mentioned...do kids these days still play that?? Just gave me flashbacks of when I was a kid.
Man those were some fun times
500....Dead OR Alive....
he shrugs the gronk situation off flawlessly😂
It’s now been seven and a half days and Bears’ fans are still pissed about that Hail Mary (lack of) defense.
The QB spy was such a dumb decision. Either rush four or send that fourth player back to the endzone. Literally zero reason to have a QB spy when they're only option is a Hail Mary
The worst part of this play is it taking away the rookie QB Williams comeback at the end of the game. Let alone the Defense holding Washington to only FGs... but Bears do Bears things 🤷♂️ 😂
no. The Hassleback, "we want the ball and we're gonna score..." then throwing a pick 6, Seahawks didn't give Marshawn the ball, The buttfumble, Zeke's snap, Newton fumble in the SB, Mac Jones getting stiff armed, Josh Norman getting stiff armed, etc..... Ton of more embarrassing plays.
I can listen to Bill talk all day, such a smart, smart football mind. Greatest coach ever.
Someone has gotta get fired for a fail that spectacular
No they don't. This is the Bears -- it's all about friendship not football. Eberflus is a loser.
@@JACKXKyou sir are correct.
Giants said "Hold my beer."
This game will be remembered for years by Commander fans. Let’s see if it makes a difference in one team making the playoffs or not.
My guess is Chicago never makes this mistake again...
The best part about it is the dude that was jibbering at the crowd was the one that got the hand on the ball, tipping it into Washington's hands.
I’m a lifetime Redskins/Commanders fan …. So I went crazy when we scored on this play ! Hoping for a Commanders - Chiefs Super Bowl.
Same guy that was getting torched by Terry too btw
83 missed calls from Butt-Fumble witnesses
I really enjoy Bill!!! “No you don’t need to” he’s also the best pundit with knowledge he is explaining football in a way. Wow! Dallas should have hired this man
As a lifelong, Washington fan, I was happy for the win but it WAS the worst NFL game, I've ever seen. Bad play, mistakes, the refs were bad too. If I had my way, with less than a minute to play, I would have stopped the game and called it a LOSS for BOTH teams. UGH. (In addition, Noah Brown had dropped two passes during the game that landed right in his hands.
You are a commanders fan and this is the worst game you have ever seen? Did you watch us the last 4 years? Is this the first year you became a fan? Are you on drugs?
Washington fan here but the refs were terrible I felt like they were trying to take the game from us.
The fact that #29 is still employed is mind blowing. Things like this will keep happening unless you punish these arrogant players.
If Stevenson doesn't hit that, byard knocks it down. Such a bears way to lose
It's a lot more common for one man to lose a team a game, than for one man to win a team a game...
I love listening to both Bill and Brady and articulate. BOTH are knowledgeable beyond compare.
Bill would've had this man take a taxi back to Chicago
The Jets RB at the goal line with the ball: hold my beer - nah never mind I’ll hold the beer instead of the ball ;)
Worst most embarrassing?, wth that was greatest play i ever seen
I mean its bad but its no butt fumble, hell its not even scrambling out the back of the endzone.
“Nah you don’t need to” Bill is fuckin priceless
Bill Belichick is hysterical with how blunt he can be 😂😂
My favorite one is Kamara saying “haha” over and over before the Minneapolis miracle
This is the kind of thing that really pisses me off, Eberflus kind of shrugs his shoulders and says something about blah blah focus, blah blah execution. The rest of the NFL world is either asking if it's one of the most embarrassing ever or are actually pointing out the *many* things wrong with this play and of course the previous play and the stupid fade route before their TD that stopped the clock.
I so hope he's gone after this season. In 50 years only Fox had a worse record, and that's 50 years of mediocre to horrible coaches and he's one loss away from being the worst.
Thanks for this video. Now I know how to defend against the Hail Mary should I ever be in position where that’s important. Also now I know how to play the offense - buy time for the fast runners to get downfield and then throw it hard d.
Never know when this might come in handy!
2:00 I swear these ball players have the emotions of cookie lol
Best part was the no holding call on their o line lol
Nope. The giants two point ""attempt"" was worse
Worst part is #29 flexing on the crowd before the play smh doesnt even see the ball is snapped then does the dumbest thing possible almost like he was showing off!
“Imagine if brown drops that”. Oh as a bears fan I can, Mooney did last year 😂😂😂
Jayden Daniels made Tyrique Stevenson pay!
NY Giants on Monday night football the next night.... "hold my beer!"
Dude, Had Too!!😂😂😂
Idk man. Orlovsky's touchback and Sanchez's butt fumble are still up there 😂
8:51 this angle is insane, bears had one job up front 😭
"Key was best for me when I was with the Jets" nahhh dog 💀
🙄🤔🤔 what r u on about
@slimmyhendrix94 Bill Belichick saying Keyshawn Johnson was the best for him when he was with the Jets right around the 0:56 mark. Bill only spent about a day with the Jets before basically leaving a napkin resignation before he was even introduced as the new coach 🙄 Google is a thing.
O line so good almost like they were holding...
What an unbelievable ending to and simultaneously boring and exciting game.
can we please get this team a real name please!? for the love of GAWD!!! ❤
Kinda reminds me of fumbling at the end zone when they celebrate on the way there.
Wouldn't be an overreaction monday with a take like this being the WORST play in football history
The D-line was exhausted
The funniest part about this is it's the bears. Finding new ways to lose
It lasted for 4 days :)
As ridiculous as this play is, the previous play is even more outrageous and being ignored. Watch it and see.
As a bears fan, we should fire everybody and Caleb Williams is a bust
Looking back #53 does a horrible job at containing the QB. Like BB said, don't let him retrace his steps. If 53 keeps him on that side of the field, Daniels will have to throw at an angle 65 yards to get to where his receivers were. Instead, he was able to retrace and get a straight launch into the endzone.
I remember the dumbest play ever was the lunatic lateral made by the Patriots in the last seconds of a tie game with the Raiders. Maybe Coach Beli forgot about that one, selective memory I guess.
Jake Fromm qb sneak on 3rd and 9 in the Joe judge era was absolutely horrendous
I know they’re more lenient on Hail Marys but good lord you can’t get worse holding than on 55 right in front of the ref
- Colts "fake" punt
- Seahawks pass
- The butt fumble
However, I think this one does tie with the Houston vs Jags bat.
Worst play is the giants 2-pt conversion Monday night
The Giants saw this video and said: hold my beer
that play was wild. 5 lineman out there to block one guy, and he strolls right past them as they all stand there watching
The only way they score is because whoever is calling plays for the defense wanted to play prevent defense and give them a free 15 yards. You can point fingers all you want on the last play but really this falls on the idiot who gave them a free 15 yards the play before the Hail Mary💀
If you play prevent and the other team is less than a touchdown away from winning with 20 seconds on the clock you deserve to lose. PERIOD. Prevent should be banned from the league.
Chris Conte letting Aaron Rodgers lob one across the middle to Randall Cobb in a Wild Card game is forever our most embarrassing play…but watching that whole dumpster fire of a game to lose by a Hail Mary Sunday was a bullet to the heart 😫
Almost spit my drink when Bill said he would have a car wash to raise funds for the NFL
There are quite a few embarrassing plays, but mark Sanchez’s butt fumble takes the cake personally
Bears had 2 guys covering McLaurin. One was even shoving him away as the pass was in the air. Pretty sure refs prefer not to call PI on a play like that but I imagine Washington fans would be pissed about that if the pass had been incomplete.
Damn 29 is the guy who tipped it to the commanders too 😂
The fact the guy drop the ball after the catch is mind blowing, he will never get a catch like that again.
The "butt fumble" is the most embarrassing. That play has it's own name and Sanchez will never live it down all the way.
No one is going to forget about this haha
Leon Lett getting stripped by Don Beebe at the 1 yard line while showboating has to be the most embarrassing play in history.
Butt Fumble was worse. Jets vs Pats
Bulls breakdown was epic .
Idk why they used a QB Spy. They rushed 3 but had a 4th guy just sitting back doing nothing.
That crowd got to experience an all time great hail mary
Worst defensive stand I’ve seen from the Bears in years. They held strong ALLLLLL day and then down to the last drive and just buckle. Huge coaching issues
