I might just put a 36 in this thing to get it mobile for now . Hope things are going well down south
@@5150mxVW Ahh I'd forgotten about the convertible and ragtop. Things are going ok. The weather just turned bad again yesterday putting an immediate hold on anything I want to do. But got the storage buildings moved, got the last bit of brush, debris, etc. cleaned up and those areas mowed, and just waiting on things to dry out again so I can get a few car ports up. Already have them ordered. I've already got some plans for work on the 57 Chevy sedan and the 79 chevy pickup. But the shelter in place stuff has allowed me to get some stuff done. Although i'd really like to get a haircut, lol
Really surprised that spark plugs didn’t bring the threads out with them. Really neat bug!
or snap ! Thank you Allan

@@5150mxVW Am wanting to purchase is it possible to let me know where u r located. Also can u listen bugs that may be available to purchase once u have made them up and running and repaired?
i am 64, 1st car was a 61 bug with plenty of mileage but rust free, the engine had some true backyard parts swapping on it and had seen better days... That should be the 36 right? Those engines though dependable didnt last much over say 60-70 grand before needing a valve job even with proper adjustments, VW was really 1 step above a bus [public transportation] If you watch the old GERMAN commercials it shows people riding in a bus seeing a VW and dreaming for independence, nothing but a totally basic point A-B car but still a cool novelty car nowdays
