I daily a Suzuki Swift Sport, I'm not surprised at the reliability, I drive my little car like I stole it and the worst thing that's happened to it in three years is a bad motor mount.
My Mom had a Suzuki Esteem station wagon. She drove long distances rather than "like you stole it", but even so it was a lot of miles. Almost got to 200,000 miles before the engine blew up and burned the car down. (Mom was fine, she pulled over and bailed out at the first sign of smoke!)
All one needs to know about the Kis-whatever is that these are the same people that designed the GSXR-750 motor, which will happily run above redline until it runs out of gas or you run out of a willingness to sit on it, whichever comes first. The only way a GSXR ever leaves service is because someone crashed the thing into mangled oblivion. So in THAT context, running around at 6000 rpm all day seems pretty small potatoes. ;-)
I would love to have Nick do one of those jump cut explanations but with no skipping

Kizashi's were mega popular where I live. Still see them on the road occasionally. The low price and AWD made them the perfect snowbelt car.
I love lemons world
Did someone in the design office sneeze during naming?
The Kizashi is peak motoring, all a car needs to be and nothing more
Don't forget the Verona ! It had a transverse inline 6, and fwd...just like the Leyland Princess ! Verona's engine was designed by Porsche !
The true successor to the reasonably priced car!
