Yeah baby! Absolutely delicious recipe! I used a Belgian chocolate and the 'lava' was sensational. My wife, who says she does not like chocolate cake, ate half and then said she would have the rest tomorrow - when I looked again, it was gone. I asked her, "Did you eat it now?" and she replied "Yeah, baby!" (she also says if one hears your videos without really listening, it sounds a little like a porn video - with all the "I'm going in....yeah baby....I'm going to eat it all...you could rub it all over your body...etc"). Maybe ease up on the Playboy Channel? Thanks for all the great recipes and the entertainment as well!

Wow. I’m a professional, high-end, residential interior designer in Los Angeles and a member of a French cooking academy since 1981 (I started cooking at 3 years old). Consequently, I know my way around the kitchen with a bit of confidence. Tell ya what. After a hectic, albeit stressful day, with high-energy clients, heating a mini pizza in the oven for dinner, nothing better than a great glass of Scotch and an evening with this wonderfully creative (hell of a character too) (don’t we all put our nuts in the freezer?) delightful chef and I ALWAYS learn something as well. We should all be thankful for Chef JP! PLEASE, PLEASE, continue to enlighten and entertain us. (Damn fine food too!)

Made this for Mother’s Day today for my Wife and in-laws along with garlic seared Cobia filets. I used coconut rum instead. Absolutely great recipe! Thank You Chef!!

Absolutely fantastic, Chef! Thanks for showing everyone how to make this cake the AUTHENTIC way. I learned how to make this cake from Gail Gand many years ago. She explained how she was asked to produce this dessert by her old boss, Charlie Trotter. After trial and error, she finally learned from the creator of Molten Cake how it was simply a cake batter cooked to high, too fast - a "happy accident".
Chef, a great desert. Thank You so much for your great enthousiasm and teachings. We enjoy watching as family together and our boys (9, 10 and 12 years) have also subscribed to your channel. Thank you so much. We keep trying to make the dishes at home.

You know I never knew how they made these All the restaurants now probably get them in frozen or whatever but that is super easy.
I love that he doesn't just make dinners but he makes soups and desserts and side dishes and sauces to show us everything.

In the last two years that I have been watching you, you have completely changed my cooking style and taken me to another level as a cook. Every recipe that I have followed has been superb! I needed a fast, easy, show-stopping, chocolate desert to serve to 8 people last Sunday, after dinner. I remembered this one from your channel, first aired a few years ago. It couldn't have been more easy to make (under 30 minutes start-to-table), and so impressive. Fortunately, I have brioche molds, so my lava cakes came out just like yours. DELICIOUS! Everyone LOVED them!
