      Super jelly, I bought the MPC - one. I can’t return because it comes with software. Even if I’ve never used it. It eats a part of my soul when I play it.

    Much appreciated. That definitely helped me out. I have the Live 2. But have been having some difficulty learning how to find my way through the system. The Plus just seems to be more intuitive. But the Live is clearly better supported with updates and what not. Keep up the good work. 👊🏾

    I prefer machine workflow and MPC‘s flexibility, (such as file management and Coard Progression) I have both also I just sold my live ii but I still have my MPC XSE and I also have a machine plus. I sold my live ii and was planning to sell my machine plus with the intent to get to push 3 but I don’t know anymore

      How does the chord progression work on the MPC vs Maschine?

    • @marclemar
      @marclemar Год назад +1

      @@magnuseriksson8081 Sorry for the super late response. This is one of the main pros of MPC. Maschine does not have a "progressions mode" yet they just provide chords that you can create a progressions with... Its not as creative because the Chords are all locked in to whatever mode you're in (Dorian, Natural minor, and so on)

  • @fernb473

    I think both are really good peace of equipment
    The good thing of mpc you can use as stand alone with no pc. And the good thing of maschine is that you can use all types of virtual instruments and all types of plug ins to distort any sample and when you get use to
    The work flo of maschine its very easy to use. I don't sample to much i like building beats from scratch. And with a mpc beats are pretty much done. All you have to do is sample. And distort the sample to make it unique. Now the down side of maschine is that you have to have a very good computer with a lot of memory If not it will start crashing on you.

      For the Maschine, you must be referring to a really complex session because I have a 2014 MacBook pro with 8GB's of RAM and it's working just fine. I only had to adjust the file handling settings.

    • @qmakesbeatz
      @qmakesbeatz  Год назад +2

      You'd just need 2 TS or TRS cables to connect to the MK3's line out to one of the MPC's Line ins....and that's it really.

    • @qmakesbeatz
      @qmakesbeatz  Год назад +2

      I would go with the MPC Live 2 for your scenario. It really focuses on that style of music. To me, the Maschine has so many sounds and expansions by default that you would, in a way, be wasting your money to get one and not plan to really use all of the VST's as that is it's main strength vs the MPC Live 2 which in my opinion is a portable super sampling box.

      The Machine Has A Better Workflow and It Has An Arranger... The MPC, Especially The LIVE 2 Has The Touchscreen And Less Buttons, So Menu Jumping Is More Likely. However The MPC's Inspires One To Be More Creative and More Eger To Bang On Dem PADS...It Compels You To Be Flexible... To Me It's An INSTRUMENT, The Machine Is More Like A Computer.

      @@babysunn2 true true. Thank you for the feedback. I love the MPC really do, just was always curious about the Maschine. Looks beautiful but the screen layout is kind of strange to my brain type…. I use the One, an arturia keyboard and ableton and it’s feeling like the perfect combo right now. I might throw in an SP404 MK2 only to perform my beats with effects more organically on the fly, and cut and paste everything together in ableton Thanks again
