what's perceived as boring is truly a reserved and calm nature bc they're teaching you something they already know, and also trying to help you relax. I know you used that word more for comedic effect and I'm not mad lol but just wanted to take the opportunity to point out the great qualities people they have that are often perceived as "boring".
The second shrug exercise, I literally did it and my neck clicked I felt 5 years younger let out a breath and cry laughed for a few minutes, you've literally changed my life. I've been struggling with back neck and shoulder tension for years and that one just.. oh my god all the right spots instantly. I'm shaking thank you I can't say it enough
I have been suffering from migraines for over 25 years. I had one today and found your video, and did the first two exercises. I always have a knot right behind my left shoulder blade. I've never been able to get rid of it...and that is the spot where all of my migraines start from and then they migrate up the back to the neck. The second exercise especially made a HUGE difference (hitting that knot behind the shoulder blade) and within minutes, my migraine went away. Goodbye ibuprofen....hello miracle stretch!! Thanks so much!!
Wow!! That's good to hear. Thanks for sharing that info. My shoulders are so knotted up and for the past few days I've been having pains in my head...migraine like, so I must give this a try. I pray it works for me too. Tfs.
@Yay Mee My knots do come back on occasion.... probably due to my bad posture.....but when they do and I get a migraine, I just do the stretches again and can feel a huge difference. I still have other knots in my neck and upper back area so sometimes I still use ibuprofen, but not nearly as much as I used to and I also use doTERRA Deep Blue rub (cream) to help with pain in other areas of the neck and upper back that lead to headaches.
@Yay Mee That's good to know. Thank you. I take vitamin D3 drops and I use nutritional yeast (which is loaded with all the B vitamins) to help season a lot of my soups and stews. But I will definitely be looking at CoQ-10 and magnesium to find some good brands. 😊
Thank goodness fir these guys and you for sharing Delia! I have a similar issue (sometimes headaches and sometimes migraines) from all the tension on my shoulder blades. Im gonna have to try this!
physicaltherapyvideo Hi I have bad knots and cracking in my shoulder and now for a month I have spasms happening in my left shoulder that won't stop. It's very annoying and even interrupts my sleep. Can you tell my why this is happening and what it could mean? I will be doing these exercises. Thank yall very much!
Jesus4 President Shoulder 'popping' is quite natural. I'm not sure about the spasms, though. Love these pilates/yin yoga tutorials. Well done, lads. I needed this. Great vibes. Love & light :)
I have had a tight pain under my left shoulder blade literally for 2 years after picking up a heavy boxes during a move. It always felt like it needed to crack and just wouldn't. Turn out it was actually a bad knot. I tried the first stretch (did about 10 reps, not too much) and the one at the 7:14 mark then followed by a downward dog stretch and felt the knot release. It was such a weird sensation! Now, for the first time I DO NOT HAVE THAT SEARING, NAGGING PAIN. I can think straight again. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I cant wait to try the others. You guys are great and love the sense of humor!
Oh my gosh me too with the nagging pain under left shoulder blade kinda lower so it is just out of reach to rub - and trips my mind because i cant stretch it out and it doesn't "give"...years of this and my back will spasm so bad...my dr. wittnessed this spasm...wanted to inject steroid between the muscle ridge right there in office and charge me hundreds of dollars...i declined and it flares up and then subsides but doesn't really ever leave me - i appreciate your comments and am excited i found this site - i will be doing these strengthening excercises and stretches - seems so logical now that i realize it is deep knots and tendonitis sets in - but the poor habits i.e., looking down and not sitting correctly etc, i am actually beating my own self up with poor posture ...ugh and yay at the same time LOL - i am going to stop the madness 😌😅 thank you and God speed with your healing. 🙏😊
Same only it was right shoulder blade and the facing the wall exercise. Can't believe this one RUclips video fixed the problem that no doctor had been able to help!
I just want you guys to know that I was suffering this morning with my back and shoulders and I did the 60 seconds with you all and it really works thank you so much. I didn't know how I was going to even get around this morning. I discovered you guys by accident about 2 days ago and have been hooked ever since. Never going to stop watching you guys. Thank you again
So, I have pretty bad neck, shoulder and upper back pain. This week is was pretty intense at work, and I came home today falling apart. I was going through RUclips and came across this video. I went through and got to the third stretch at 3:05 - I couldn’t get any relief, or feel much of anything. I asked my boyfriend to pull on the towel for me while I hung my head back. My neck popped more times than thought humanly possible. I was sitting on the floor while he did it, and nearly lifted my entire body off the floor by my neck with that towel lol. I swear I had INSTANT results. The pain in my neck was less than I have felt in years. I cannot believe how much it helped 😭😭 I know it’s not EXACTLY how you advised to do it, and in hindsight maybe not the smartest thing to do, but I’m just so glad I found your video. Thank you 🥹 and sorry for this long comment 🫣
physicaltherapyvideo Good afternoon, I just found your page and I love it. My problem is, the knots in my neck causes my arms and fingers to tingle and go numb. I have been tested to see if anything serious was going on, just mild carpal tunnel. One of my colleagues stuck her elbow in my back and got rid of the knots that were causing the tingling which lasted for over a year. Do you have any exercises that I could use to get these knots out of my back and stop the tingling that has returned ? Thank you.
I've had so much relief of muscle knots all over my back. Thanks to you two and the suggestion of the ball in the sock on the wall. I felt like I had a professional massage. But for as long as I wanted and paid no money. It was heavenly. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!
Oh my word the up,back, head back, ear to shoulder is the best. I've had knots on my neck for a while and I get migraines today is the 1st time I got any type of relief. Thank you so much!
I watched this video a couple of years ago and the shrug & shoulder squeeze helped me SO much, even told my Mum about it and she was amazed. Spent the last half an hour searching for it again since I couldn't remember exactly how to do it and I finally found it! Goodbye neck pain! :D
I couldn't get out of bed today because of the intense pain that has stretched into my right arm from muscles knots in my back. This was the first video recommended, and I did the exercises in bed and felt instant releif... magical. The knot is still there, however the pain has decreased greatly and is only on the spot, not my whole back or arm and I am moving now.. I can walk and talk! Will continue with the stretches till the pain is gone. Thank you!
I know this is a couple years old, but I've had stress and now sinus pressure causing knots in my shoulders. That first exercise was an immediate help. Thank you so much!
physicaltherapyvideo hey Bob and Brad, I'll try and keep this as short as possible. This video was in my recommended videos and was my first video of yours to watch. Imagine my luck! I have TOS that went undiagnosed for too long and a few other problems from a sandwich car accident 10 years ago. I have had a top right rib resection but complications from that surgery nearly took my life so I'm waiting until I absolutely have to have the left rib removed before going through that again. My previous pain management doctor was highly overmedicating me with powerful prescriptions and is now in federal custody linked with at least seven overdose deaths. (A little unnecessary information but interesting nonetheless) My new pain management doctor has recommended physical therapy but I am on a limited income. I have many trigger points and this new pain management doctor doesn't use numbing medicine with these 25+ tp injections which leave me even more debilitated for several days. I was wondering how many reps of each exercise do you recommend. I know the video is titled "60 second" but I was practicing along with the video and a recommended number of reps for a beginner would be very helpful. Of course, I know incremental increases over time are necessary. I do appreciate that you pointed out, if it hurts, don't do it because the one shoulder neck turn exercise with my right shoulder did not put a smile on my face. Also, can any of the suggested devices be replicated with materials at home? I.e. a towel wrapped in duct tape as a "foam roller"? I will definitely purchase one of purple things! It's 4am and I don't remember what it's called haha. I very much thank you for your time in reading this and look forward to watching future videos!
Rebecca Moore There are foam tubes known as swimming 'noodles' at discount or dollar stores (possibly toy stores?) that I believe would serve you well. Besides, duct tape is not cheap $$ As for reps, a general rule of thumb is to start with very few (2 or 3) and your body will let you know when you can do more. Just pick same time frame(s) daily so your body/mind will come to expect it once the routine is established.
You are my go-to guys for help with all my various body aches & pains! I feel like I've just come from the chiropractor after watching your videos. You're knowledgeable, trustworthy, & totally have my kind of sense of humor (I hope I didn't just insult you 😉).
Going thru PT for this exact issue. 3 cervical neck fusions C4-C7. Total of 2 plates, 26 bolts in and out of my neck with a Coalition Device still installed. Been 11+ years of misery and so glad I found this channel. Any help or advice you can provide is greatly appreciated. The last 11+ years have been horrible. Lost a marriage, a career and my ability to play golf because of the multiple surgeries of my cervical spine. Went to Duke University Medical Center and was told they wouldn't touch me unless I was in jeopardy of being paralyzed.... Thanks for your channel and hope I can get some relief using your techniques!!!! God Bless you!!!!!
Bob & Brad,, I tried the lifting of the shoulder & back, tilt head back and away.. that worked in an instant guys , maybe I can sleep without waking up during night with bad arm pain..I am praying. Bring more videos, these are helping...
THANK YOU! Gosh, almost 6 years of having pregnancy, breastfeeding and carrying babies on my hip and my back is killing me. These exercises are so simple and feel so good!
the shoulder squeeze and the sock just got out a kink in my shoulder that’s been keeping my chest tight and i just took my first deep breath in days thank u so much
OMG, I tried some of these and I could really feel them working! My shoulders, neck, and upper back are super full of knots! I even got some cracking action it of the first few! You got yourselves a new subscriber!
Dr Pellypo SAME! Been to 2 physiatrists, 4 physical therapists, an osteopath, a chiropractor, no relief!!!! Then I tried some of the stuff in their videos and immediately noticed a positive change!
You doctors are my angels. I overdid it at the online Yoga class yesterday and suffered upper back pain. I have been doing all these exercises from this video twice a day and it has really helped!
I had a masseuse tell me I had a brick there. She said it would take 3 visits a day, for 5 months to take care of it. I did just one of the second maneuver and I felt it big time. Glad I stumbled on your show.👍🏻
I have no clue how I found you guys but you guys are hilarious! First I wondered if it was a joke.... then I recognized most stretches. the "one shoulder up, back, neck back and look away" is new and good! The way you guys interact is so nerdy but also funny. keep the business clothes and ties- they are part of the quirkiness! stay true to who you are even if you get a tv show! If it is too over the top it will come across fakey. You guys have good info and good hearts. Laughter is good for the soul!! I'm subscribing!
I was crying from the pain in my shoulders/traps a few moments ago…I feel sooo much better, these really helped! I know this video is old but thank you guys sooo much! What a relief! I can’t thank u enough! Thank u, thank you, THANK YOOUUU!!!
That second exercise is money. Why wouldn't any of the Physical Therapist I've been to show me this exercise. I can buy believe the relief I got from it in a matter of 5 minutes. I'm paying good money for PT and have got more relieve from 1 RUclips video you two have made. Thanks so much. You are heros in my opinion!!!!! God Bless you!!! Have a Merry Christmas!!!
I felt instant relief in the first five minutes. Every exercise helped. My favorite is the wall Angels. They are super effective. You guys are awesome. I look forward to future videos!
I had a terrible and painful upper back sprain this morning from reaching over in bed to my side table. I immediately search RUclips for any sort of advice on what to do for upper back sprain and came across you guys. I did every stretch , excluding the last one. I do not have the s shaped equipment. I felt a lot better afterwards. Thank you guys. I like your demonstration style and good fun too.😊
Wow I wish I would’ve found this page years ago. I’ve had pain in my upper shoulders and back for days. After this video the pain is gone. Thanks guys!
Bob & Brad, I'm so happy right now! I'm only in my 20's but I've suffered from a bad back and shoulder knots/tension for two years. I've tried everything, yoga, pilates and other PT's. Today, after just one session, it all feels much better! I'll be back for more tomorrow morning, thank you.
Hendrik Hardeman their always haas too bee one. And I were so engining the cometts 🤣. You guys are great!! Really!! Should I have put an apostrophe in the word guys? 🤙🏻Rock On!
I am an old dude and I needed some smart old dude stuff for my neck pain. This is my 2nd video and day 1 is looking much better than yesterday! Thanks Bob & Brad.
Bless you both I'm a nurse and I have a pretty nice side knot on my left shoulder from work and stress due to the current state of the world, so thanks a million!!!💕
You've changed my freaking life. I just did the first half of those exercises at my desk here and by the end of the video my neck and shoulders feel amazing compared to what they did 6 minutes ago.
No lie when I came into the office today I had this gnarly knot in my left shoulder blade on my back, tried every stretch, and the hands behind my head stretch facing the wall mixed with the sock ball massage (I used a beanie hat and stress relief ball lol) saved my work day. Thanks guys, definitely subbing
These two are the BEST on the internet - in my opinion. :^) Lovely, unassuming, brilliant and so learned and helpful. Thank you so much for your helpful, healing advise!
good video and description. It's so important for people to stretch and foam roll. It's very easy to forget that our bodies, slowly over time and also depending on what job we have are put through a lot and need to be taken care of. Then on top of that if we work out we put it through more stress. Stretching and foam rolling are highly needed especially the older we get.
The exercises at the beginning were my favourites . The one with like 5 or 6 steps was awesome . It made me crack my neck and it released a ton of tension . I like that you 2 are show so much personality in your videos as well . You both really are great people for making these videos and helping so many people . Liked and subscribed , thanks for the help .
You guys are awesome. I have been having upper back post workout stiffness/knots over a couple of weeks now. But feel so good on day 0 itself. Thank you 🙏
I'm glad that they do refer to 'trigger points.' So many PTs nowadays have posted blogs and videos claiming that there are no such thing as trigger points. But anyone who's ever experienced trigger points in their own muscles knows that they're wrong.
Thank you so much i have been dealing with right upper back muscle pain for years due to mattress quality, stress, sitting for long hours and now that I learned the ball in the sock technique its a life saver to me 😭❤️
I've been going to PT off and on for years for a L shoulder injury and have never heard of or done any of these. I started doing them and 1st time noticed relief! Wow! Thank you
I just celebrated my 33rd birthday this week, and I thought I was getting old because my back muscles were agonizingly tight. The first two stretches released the knots and strained muscles in my back within less than 2 minutes. I've been suffering for days, and now the pain is almost completely gone! Thank you so much! I also love your humor!
The stretch with elbows against the wall just made my middle back pop and immediately relieved sharp pain I’ve been having under my left armpit. My chiro and pcp didn’t seem to help it. You rock!
Where has this channel been all my life?!?!? AMAZING! Finally! Thank you, Bob and Brad. THANK YOU! Your exercises really work. I feel great. And optimistic!
This is great ! - I have the worst pain in my shoulder and now shoulders for months... after doing the excercises for the first time I can definatly feel some relief - I don't have the foam rollers for the last excercises but i'm definatly going to pick them up asap !! gonna follow the channel also. The first two excercises and the wall ones are great !!!!!
Just by clumsily running through your routine as you were demonstrating. Pain and tension reduced by 50%! I just happen to have your pieces of equipment handy and you put it to new and excellent purpose for me. I will look into the cane 👍 Thanks guys, very informative and enjoyable because it works!
Thank you sooo much 😭 For 2 weeks my mid back has been killing me. I did the stretches and can't believe the relief I am feeling. Thank you thank you thank youuuuu 🖤
Thankyou so much guys for helping me relax free of cost and on my own. Last year i tried your plantar fasciatis exercises for feet. I loved them. And i recovered within few days. Without exercise of feet i wasn't able to recover
You guys are the best! I finally found stretching exercises that actually help with my back and neck pain (and consequently headaches). Thank you so much🙏
Idk how 2 guys can be so helpful, so funny, and so boring, all at once... but I like it
Dang you put my thoughts into words!
Whole package!

I have had this problem before and gotten rid of the knot, but it's back for the third time and I can't seem to shake it
Literally best friend goals.

This video just made me laugh out loud. Bob and Brad seem like really good friends, and good teachers! Great video.
the shoulder squeeze and the sock just got out a kink in my shoulder that’s been keeping my chest tight and i just took my first deep breath in days thank u so much
I work out a bunch and took 3 weeks off. started back and remembered how thankful I am for these guys
OMG, I tried some of these and I could really feel them working! My shoulders, neck, and upper back are super full of knots! I even got some cracking action it of the first few! You got yourselves a new subscriber!
I tried a chiropractor and basically wasted £120. What these guys have shown me (since then) has worked wonders. And for free!
Dr Pellypo SAME! Been to 2 physiatrists, 4 physical therapists, an osteopath, a chiropractor, no relief!!!! Then I tried some of the stuff in their videos and immediately noticed a positive change!

thank u so much for this. I have chronic neck pain but can't afford a chiropractor. this helps a lot!
Christi van der Veen its called smart devices coupled with AI
They’re the first ones I go to for this stuff ❤😊
These guys have a great bromance.
Are they partners? They seem very familiar with one another.
@@pleromicpastry5445 they seem great couple
@@pleromicpastry5445 no, they are married to women
These two...and eddie hall with brian shaw. Both top tier bromances.
Why are two males working in harmony, weird to you? Must all men be violent and compete with each other? I'm guessing you are under 18 lol
"look at the color Bob, it makes you smile." 😂😂😂 you guys are so relaxed. must be all these physical therapy exercises
So funny..great stuff!

I look forward to future videos!
omg i so needed this channel!!! I wasn't even looking, thanks guys!! new subbie
Brad and Bob brings joy, laughter and knowledge that is simple, sweet and applicable. Thanks guys🥰
Had huge knot in my shoulder all day and your stretches worked! fixed by approx 7min. Thanks!!
8:15 THIS solved my back pain
Glad to hear that!

I hope it'll save mine
Thanks for the time stamp. Hubby really needs to do this. My fingers start cramping long before we can work out the knots.
“Stop talking Bob! I’m really hitting the spot right now”... Bob: that’s what she said 😂😂😂
I'm literally reading this just as he said it. I should be releasing my shoulder tension but they are so funny I had to look at the comments
Love listening to you guys call each other Brad and Bob all through the videos! These videos are super helpful!
They need to have their own TV show! Their funny!😂
physicaltherapyvideo That's the point. You don't have to fit in. You make something different.
physicaltherapyvideo according to tetris....when you fit in...you'll disappear. YOU guys would be visible❗
Onawa Awendela "why would u wanna fit in, when u can stand out"... me
Onawa Awendela Very nice Tetris quote. Very nice.
Hendrik Hardeman their always haas too bee one. And I were so engining the cometts 🤣. You guys are great!! Really!! Should I have put an apostrophe in the word guys? 🤙🏻Rock On!
jesus christ that shoulder raise neck turn stretch has saved my life. thank you
At 1:40 I've tried every stretch for weeks and I finally got that almost Charlie horse relieve in my scapula from that one. Thanks a million guys
Getting this recommendation after complaining to my husband about upper back and shoulder pain. The walls have ears and this made my day. It works👍
I am an old dude and I needed some smart old dude stuff for my neck pain. This is my 2nd video and day 1 is looking much better than yesterday! Thanks Bob & Brad.
Less than 8 minutes in, and my sore muscles are starting to relieve tension. Thanks Bob & Brad!
I actually felt my shoulders and shoulder blades thanking me a minute ago, after I did a few exercises. Thank you!
It has that "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood" feel, but for Physical Therapy😏🤓 luv
You guys are keepers. I started watching you 4 days ago and I’m feeling the difference. Thank you.
Bless you both I'm a nurse and I have a pretty nice side knot on my left shoulder from work and stress due to the current state of the world, so thanks a million!!!💕
Thank you for all that you do!
I have absolutely no idea how I got here, but this is the answer to all my back/neck problems...!!!! Thank you, guys...!!!!

Cheers guys
You've changed my freaking life. I just did the first half of those exercises at my desk here and by the end of the video my neck and shoulders feel amazing compared to what they did 6 minutes ago.
No lie when I came into the office today I had this gnarly knot in my left shoulder blade on my back, tried every stretch, and the hands behind my head stretch facing the wall mixed with the sock ball massage (I used a beanie hat and stress relief ball lol) saved my work day. Thanks guys, definitely subbing
I haven't commented on anything in awhile but you guys have the greatest entertaining communication and personalities. Great job!
Came across this late but just in time. I have so much tension in my neck and back and shoulders. Thank you 🙏🏾 ☺️
These two are the BEST on the internet - in my opinion. :^) Lovely, unassuming, brilliant and
so learned and helpful. Thank you so much for your helpful, healing advise!
I have chronic pain and this video was so helpful 😭 thank you kings 💕
good video and description. It's so important for people to stretch and foam roll. It's very easy to forget that our bodies, slowly over time and also depending on what job we have are put through a lot and need to be taken care of. Then on top of that if we work out we put it through more stress. Stretching and foam rolling are highly needed especially the older we get.
I have no one to massage my knots out, I do not want a stranger massaging me, so this is it. Love your channel/chemistry.
You guys are heaven sent. Even when I have no pain I watch your videos for the smiles and happiness you give me. Thankyou soooo much. 😊😊💖💖👍👍
Cathy Samata 🤣
Thank you so much i have been dealing with right upper back muscle pain for years due to mattress quality, stress, sitting for long hours and now that I learned the ball in the sock technique its a life saver to me 😭❤️
My back feels good from just watching the video xD there voices are so calming..
Glad we could help:)
These stretches are so simple, yet so effective, thank you😀
Instantly fell in love with these two !
That second one was amazing and I finally felt release. I'm so thankful!
Thank you for the exercises. Two of them helped right away with my mid back pain. God bless👍🏼😊
1st time watcher and.......You both had me at hello!!
Love you guys!!
They complete me.
Me too. What is that? These two people have an awesome vibe!
The stretch with elbows against the wall just made my middle back pop and immediately relieved sharp pain I’ve been having under my left armpit. My chiro and pcp didn’t seem to help it. You rock!
I woke up with pain in my neck this morning. You have no idea how much you helped me. Thank you!! Missy
Even if this doesn't work for my back, it worked for my heart
You guys are so spontaneous I love it
I accidentally clicked on this but I’m here for it!
These guys need to save some ladies for the rest of us
The rest of who? Go to pubhorn for that.
@@jayebirdjb7143 obviously it was a joke. It's a saying.

The first two excercises and the wall ones are great !!!!!
Literally pressed subscribe while hearing that excellent amazing theme music!!! SOLD!

the very first stretch on vid released a pinch in my neck. thanks. love this
Thanks for all the videos I will be watching
Just by clumsily running through your routine as you were demonstrating. Pain and tension reduced by 50%!
I just happen to have your pieces of equipment handy and you put it to new and excellent purpose for me.
I will look into the cane 👍
Thanks guys, very informative and enjoyable because it works!
Thank you sooo much 😭
For 2 weeks my mid back has been killing me. I did the stretches and can't believe the relief I am feeling. Thank you thank you thank youuuuu 🖤

I'd love to see that!! LOL
All this awesomeness!!! You guess are great, very helpful! So glad this vid popped up! Thanks 😀
Did the first 5 stretches and I already feel good. Will do it everyday. Thank you guys. 😊👍
