after a convension here in athens around the staging area i found a box with some broken modes and took one home, i just swapped the hands and back area with the wings in my renewal ver. VF-25f and now i can say i got two in one haha.
Sir thanks again for the response and I'll totally take your advice on that. It looks pretty good in Battroid mode but I am having second thoughts about my transformation process because of that motion on the head part hehe.
Thanks for the review and transformation steps. I think there is another step that you and other toys reviewers missed. I can clearly see 2 dark gray liftarms on the wings where they meet with the backplate (wing hinge). It looks like the wings can move up so that they sit more on the back instead of on the bud of the robot. I could be wrong...?
Thank you for this video, it help me a lot and is complementary with the manual. I use your other video "battroid to fighter". For people asking the cost, bandai dx macross go from 14000 yen to 55000 yen. Quite expensive like hot toys figures.
thanks for the guide Sir. though I am not sure if I transformed it correctly into Battroid. mine has a somewhat up and down motion up there in the head part, if you don't mind Sir i would like to ask your opinion about this. I did push that lever fully to the back but I think something went wrong because of that up and down movement. Thanks again Sir good day
I got a black model new and 1 of my shoulder patches hinge broke. Feeling really sad about this.. anything I can do to get a new part or fix it? It’s the small “C” looking hinge that broke off.
Unfortunately after I shoot these videos most the toys get put back away in their boxes and into storage. I'll have this toy out again in June when the Super Parts are released but until then maybe someone else could help you out with determining if it's perfect. Honestly, since the paint chips easily, if you have it close enough and it looks good I'd just stop fiddling with it and call it a day until the next time you transform it.
Anyone know what type of glue would work best to repair one of these? Mine took a fall off my desk and the tip of the white plastic below the tail chipped off.
i am having a little trouble transforming the torso.. the neck plate where the head is attached on doesn't seem to lock to anything, so it can move up and down. I am trying to fit the cockpit piece to push against the neck plate, but so far no luck. Please shed some light, thank you!
+Jason Lam This is really hard to give advice on without actually seeing where you're at. As I recall it, the neck plate does have some play to it and you don't actually want the cockpit to press firmly against the neck plate or else you may scratch the spike in front of the canopy.
thank you for the reply. i guess it's hard for you to see without seeing any picture, but I cannot post picture here. When you said the neck plate does have some play to it, does that mean it can be tilt up or down? In your video, you said that the canopy will kinda lock in place, that's where I am puzzling about... any chance I can email you some pictures? thank you very much for your advice!

yf29はマクロスの中で一番イケメン機体だわ
特に30周年verはめっちゃくちゃかっこいい!
Thanks for doing these videos. I've just gotten an Isamu Custom and looking at the booklet was insanely scary.

Both my Durandals were picked up for me by a friend in Japan. Sorry, I know that's not very helpful for others trying to figure out how to get one.

Anyone know where I can still get this figure?
How do you peg the gun in the fighter?
Hi nice review! Which one do you prefer or most beautiful: alto red or 30th anniversary? Thank you

And I thought that it couldn’t get any better then the Veratech fighters
Thanks!

how much for this one ? And what is a good deal of it ?
I want planes like this in ace combats
where did you buy it?
where can you buy these?
Long sold out everywhere... you'll need to rely on the secondary market or auction sites.
Thanks a lot
Amazon too but you gotta pay a hefty price for it :/
The packs alone cost around $300-400 depending on which one
AT TOYS R US.
So the wings/backpack doesn't really tab into anything huh?
+Brendan Haugland Correct, the back just hinges over, though the hinge is usually pretty stiff.
I need to transform it into a plane
