Great Review, FYI My buttom left leg missle pod came completely off. I'm able to put it back on, but I can't rotate it anymore without taking the whole thing off. Just something to be carefull about.
Good review. I didn't know wich one to chose, but since the last ones have less problem, then if the next one has not loosy shoulders joint and has nice colors, i'll see if i buy one. Does anyone can give me the relaease date of each one, from alto to isamu durandal please?
So that essentially leaves you with only Arcadia merchandise, which was formed by former Yamato staff.; Wasn't Yamato collapse partially due to its' lackluster QC which severely corroded the community confidence ? in short, I don't think macross fans have much of a choice...
melvinthedeathless I have not hear about yamato having QC issues, in fact comparing my VF-1S (arcadia release) with the bunch of parts that my DX VF 25S is, I can fell that 1S is better in quality, but that ismy personale experience. Also I have yet to watch a review or read a blog where a yamato VF had any problems, instead in al the dx VF-25S reviews all the figures have the same problems about breaking because the usage of cheap plastic.
RoyFokker93 A couple things: 1) The V1 DX VF-25 toys aren't the same quality as the renewal toys (the renewals are far superior). 2) The Yamato 1/60 V2 VF-1 toys are very good but the first several releases did have problems with the arms breaking off at the hinge. Once they got past that they were amazing and definitely superior in terms of build quality to even the renewal DX toys. As to why Yamato folded, I think it has far more to do with their decisions about what toys to make and less to do with the quality of the toys they did make.
Great review. I have all three versions of YF-29. YF-29 Ozuma (black color) version is coming on May 2014.
the real stuff feels so good

if it has renewal version that fixed the shoulder it's should be nice since i didn't bought any VF and YF yet .
Really unsure about getting the Fast Packs for this bird. Still annoyed that they didn't come together as a set.
At about 140 dollars US for one, I'd really hate to see what a 3 piece set would run...lol
I hope to see Arcadia's YF here soon.
I managed to buy this at Anime Expo with the super parts and I am very happy to be able to get one of these in the U.S.
Hi scorched I need help the gunpod of mi figure not split well is normal?

Looks cool, but since my bad experience with the first bandai VF-25S, I don‘t want to get any of the Bandai VF‘s
All of their stuff is amazing starting with the vf-29
but durability of materials...tsk
