Watching a not so typical pc parts review like this is definitely a breather! Seems like we're in your living area/home theater as well:) Kudos to you @socialhardware

Not all games support Atmos, and I just found this out. Sometimes, the same game will have Atmos support on consoles but not on PC. I have a gaming PC and I really don't understand how ppl say PC is the best in every category.

I might be mistaking on this but even though you're sound playback is doing 5.1, 7.1 and DA the single sent to your AVR/Sound bar via eARC is processing it as PCM and not true DTS/Dolby, etc.. at least that's what I'm running into with my Yamaha RX-A4A, it's receiving the single as PCM, so I'm going to see about going with a proper sound card. And that's providing you're not going from PC to AVR to TV apposed to PC to TV to AVR via eARC.
I don't like routing my HDMI through even the highest end AVR as with the new Nvidia RTX 40 series the AVR aren't passing the video single through properly in my opinion so I prefer going straight to the TV via HDMI and then as mentioned above eARC just isn't working for passing the audio down.

$1k!? That's still too expensive. I know i can ask jb to knock a bit off the xbox or ps5 plus they go on sale more often
