Ok my highlights in this video were: "I want to finish the dress before Halloween - I didn't" "I don't make a corset!" Makes a corset XD - The Batman lining - And the fact that this dress looks absolutely amazing. I never saw something like that, very beautiful and unique!
"things disappear in my apartment and turn up in my costumes". 100% yes glitter makes me very happy. I will use the water argument forever! the reveal was fabulous! I love your imagination! And the blonde wig is great!
I love that you used Batman fabric for the lining. Super cute! And I think it is awesome that you reused the boning from the project that you plan to remake. I would love to see you remake that project too! Such a pretty dress! You look gorgeous in it
So fun to watch as well as catch phrases like "you can't see blood on black velvet" when she pricked her finger! She "makes do" when she needs a fabric or whatever. Old costumes and household decor does not escape her clutches. Clever seamstress! Dress is pretty too and video effects eye catching.
I love, love, love the dress. I started sewing at 15, and let's just say I am much, much older. There used to be tons of fabric stores everywhere, but nobody sews anymore. I studied fashion design in LA back in the 60s (dating myself). Your costumes are works of art and the best part is YOU can wear them. You are a creative treasure. ❤😊
The greatest mockup fabric ever! I really liked, that you used it as a lining. The outfit is stunning and you look so marvellous in it. But your reveal elevates the whole project to another level. Ariel, be proud of yourself! You deserve all the praise people give.
The dress is gorgeous on its own, but your humour and editing take the whole video to another level! I love the part at the end where you edit yourself into the film, you made it fit so well Also really appreciate the lining fabric being Batman, it's such a fun little easter egg.
Swishing about endlessly in my flat and adoring the delicious glittering is pretty much all I would do in that glorious dress! And I'm nearly 50! The enjoyment does not fade with age, trust me!!
I love the frankenstein storage system in the background of your workspace ! It's wild and beautiful and supremely inviting for treasure hunting ! What's in each little drawer & where do you store your favourite glitter ?? J'ai aussi adoré vos transitions - d'abord batman, finalement Helena Bonham Carter
Im a sleepless Brazilian gal and I’m glad that I found your channel. I just get your sense of humor and it makes me feel comfortable with my own weirdness 😌 (please, take it as a compliment, I’m in love with your personality).
Goodness it looks gorgeous. Wanted to share a trick for stuffing things that you are turning inside out... as you roll it up, stuff it. So small sections rolled and stuff it.
Why don’t you have a million subscribers? Will sit here and watch them all roll in, delighted to have found your channel so early, commenting for the algorithm xx
When i was a kid I got obsessed with this japanese animated version of swan lake. The princess Odile had this gorgeous black ballroom dress and i was in love. This brought it all back, absolutely stunning!
I am absolutely in awe of your extreme talent. I’m an artist . I can draw, paint and I make jewellery and I watch this and I can’t believe you can do this. I am terrible at sewing and this is beyond talented. Unbelievable!
I love how your quick Batman " cut and estimate " template represents what my entire sewing skill almost could reach on a good day 🤓👍 I'm humble towards your artistry, and thank you for your amazing content 😊 Best wishes from Sweden, and have a lovely weekend.
The dress reminds me of a gown my mom wore to a charity dinner dance in LA, she had collected it in NYC as it came from Paris and it was the most amazing dress ever.
Absolutely fantastic! My mother was a court dressmaker and I used to watch her sew with the same command of the art as you have…took me right back to my childhood, thank you x
Everything you do is so incredibly detailed and then taken to the highest height. You continue to amaze me, Hazariel! 🥰🥰🥰 Also would love to see you in the Hollywood movie star dress and gloves with Audrey Hepburn makeup and wig -- it would be amazing!!
What a lovely project and a great video! French girl to French girl, I've been an expat for 15 years and you made me miss home more than I have in a long time. Now if only I could get Danette through the screen...
Your gasp/squeal when you opened your plaque made my whole week. I'm newish here and I'm absolutely loving going through your videos and enjoying little things like that in addition to your amazing skill. The best!
I heard that humans love things like glitter, polka dots, and sprinkles because of our desire for abundance. Lots of little things spark joy. Combined with the sparkley water argument, glitter is starting to sound like a necessity!
Wow! This video is spectacular! Love love love your beautiful black dress. Have always been interested in black Gothic Wedding Gowns, and your, dress what you made, is so amazing! Congratulations! Much Love from England 👗💝👗💝👗💝✨
I've been listening to your videos while I'm making a dress of my own and your voice is so soothing and your finished products are always so beautiful! Keep up the amazing work!
Oh. 😹 I do patchwork quilting rather than dressmaking, but I FELT the frustration in the "I won’t say I forgot, but.... eeeeh." 😹 also, aaaaallll the pins for just one seam, to keep it from shifting out of place! And there’s a reason I use spray on fabric glues rather than pins for quilting. I still say my first quilts used to exact a blood price for making them. XD but I love this, it’s absolutely amazing, not to mention gorgeous! When I think of all the hours you must have put into hand sewing the front, though... 😮 all I can say is your poor fingers!!!
RUclips recommended you're channel to me, so glad I found you! I love you're accent and costumes. This video is so funny, entertaining, and inspiring! Congrats on you're award! Also-IKEA blanket pajamas?! WHAAT?! that sounds amazing!!!
You did that signature hippy swishy move in the BALLROOM! I love your Dark Cinderella. :) I especially love your hand sneaking through the house stealing Halloween pumpkin decor. And interesting fact about the glitter and water. I do like glitter.
the fairy godmother bit made me laugh out loud. "I'll make sure they don't recognize you" "😒" lmao
More like Goth mother
I love Helena Bonham Carter on most filmes. What is the Title of the Cinderella Version where she played the fairy Godmother?
Ok my highlights in this video were:
"I want to finish the dress before Halloween - I didn't"
"I don't make a corset!" Makes a corset XD
- The Batman lining
- And the fact that this dress looks absolutely amazing. I never saw something like that, very beautiful and unique!
I don't think that's considered a corset, it's just a bodice. a corset supports and shapes, a bodice is just the top of a dress.
"things disappear in my apartment and turn up in my costumes". 100% yes
glitter makes me very happy. I will use the water argument forever!
the reveal was fabulous! I love your imagination! And the blonde wig is great!
RUclips algorithm said "Here. You'll like this." And man were they so right. You're so funny! And the dress came out amazing!!!!
The 1950 movie star version was my favorite. The way the skirt moved was hypnotic.
I love that you used Batman fabric for the lining. Super cute! And I think it is awesome that you reused the boning from the project that you plan to remake. I would love to see you remake that project too! Such a pretty dress! You look gorgeous in it
Thank you! 😊 I hope to remake it with that squeaky vinyl.
So fun to watch as well as catch phrases like "you can't see blood on black velvet" when she pricked her finger! She "makes do" when she needs a fabric or whatever. Old costumes and household decor does not escape her clutches. Clever seamstress! Dress is pretty too and video effects eye catching.
I love that it's so we'll made, it's so dark and elegant lol and no one would ever suspect your little secret that Batman's on the inside. 😂
She said “I love the fact that I have a basic need for glitter”. 🤣 🤣 🤣
I love the end. The hair! The makeup! The comedy!
This video deserved to go viral - how are you not the most popular channel in the historic costuming/cosplay community?!
Oh thank you so much! I really hope that one day I could make a living with my costume videos ❤
I love, love, love the dress. I started sewing at 15, and let's just say I am much, much older. There used to be tons of fabric stores everywhere, but nobody sews anymore. The swish of the dress!! I wouldn't be able to resist swishing around my apartment too. 😁
Wow, you did a fabulous job. I love it! Congratulations on your award as well!
Thanks!
The dress is gorgeous on its own, but your humour and editing take the whole video to another level! I love the part at the end where you edit yourself into the film, you made it fit so well Also really appreciate the lining fabric being Batman, it's such a fun little easter egg.
Congratulations on winning that costume award! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
GORGEOUS dress! It's beautiful! The reveal, with clips from Helena Bonham Carter's fairy godmother, was SO CUTE!
Swishing about endlessly in my flat and adoring the delicious glittering is pretty much all I would do in that glorious dress! And I'm nearly 50! The enjoyment does not fade with age, trust me!!
The Batman fabric brings me joy

Plastic Zip ties make perfect “boning” for corsets
That reveal: *chef's kiss*
Wonderful idea and execution, and another uptick in IKEA blanket sales no doubt...
holy wedding dress goals batman!
@ 9:53 heheheeh lmao so cute " if things tend to disappear is because i put them in my costumes " i love it

GLITTER! Everywhere! Everytime! I love it. The dress looks stunning.
It is so good. It gives me punk/goth Cinderella vibes.

When i was a kid I got obsessed with this japanese animated version of swan lake. The princess Odile had this gorgeous black ballroom dress and i was in love. This brought it all back, absolutely stunning!
The final project is fun! I have to say that I would have probably stopped at the base of the dress with the classic “1950s” gown. You’re so talented
Thanks to your talent. I want to see more. This Black Cinderella dress is breathtaking
these editing skills are SUPERIOR omg!! i loved this dress!!
You had my like at handmade PJ from blankets :3
HOLY girl, with the wig and makeup I got immediate Miranda Richardson as Lady Van Tassel vibes. Totally awesome with the dress.
Giggles and giggles shining sparkly glitter is a must 😈😈🥰🥰🥰
I am absolutely in awe of your extreme talent. I’m an artist . I can draw, paint and I make jewellery and I watch this and I can’t believe you can do this. I am terrible at sewing and this is beyond talented. Unbelievable!
For that authentic dark Disney touch, you should have had some singing bats and rats help you sew :D
What an incredible dress! The skit at the end was so humorous; I loved it! The Dark Cinderella ballgown turned out stunning!
I think that is my witch outfit 😳❤️✨
the gown is gorgeous I love it. the embellishments are beautiful😍🤩🖤🖤💯👏👏👏👏
Lol! The comedy part was awesome! I love it.
Cheapskate Fairy Godmother only giving you a wig!!! Another fantastic video!
Your fun and exquisite talent bring me much joy. Thank you.
Your video editing was 😘 (chef's kiss)

The dancing at the end was everything I needed.

J’adore !!!
The dress reminds me of a gown my mom wore to a charity dinner dance in LA, she had collected it in NYC as it came from Paris and it was the most amazing dress ever.

Awesome! And congratulations on your costume trophy!
Vous êtes formidable 😍
Beautiful. Personally I loved it without the vines etc. But to each their own. And an amazing job. I couldn't make it.
Not sure why RUclips suggested this to me, but it looks awesome! The pumpkins are a great touch.
Wow you did a superb job on the dress. Absolutely beautiful!🥰
Wow! Loved the editing almost as much as the dress, stunning! 🙂
I LOVED your green screen fun hahaha! Thank you for a wonderful video!
One just can't help but swish!
Absolutely gorgeous,Bravo 👏 🖤
I use zip ties for boning , works great and easy to get especially if in a hurry
your accent is so satisfying to listen to! i'm used to other accents like english or spanish so it was different to hear a french accent :)
